Mukwonago Remodeling Corporation recently did our kitchen. Trust me, kitchen remodels are not easy as you try to function without one for a while. They made it tolerable however, and the best part is they did a great job with the customization of the cabinets they gave to my wife and I. We love the look and the feel and the quality can't be beat. Their designer took his time and was patient as we explored our options. Everyone who entered our house from Muk Remo were pleasant, kind and were true craftsman. We could not be happier with the end result.

The team at Mukwonago Remodeling just finished remodeling our kitchen and bathroom, they finished just in time for the holidays. Boy was that a surprise being 2 weeks early per original schedule! The details and the color of the cabinets were awesome and leaving our house livable thru the entire process was awesome! I really enjoyed the daily updates and schedule they supplied and beat by 2 weeks. Great company to partner with! My wife wont leave the kitchen now and I get the rewards of good meals! Thank you!

Had a meeting with John and Alexandrea. John took the time to walk us though his shop and the entire process of how they make their custom work. Very impressed with their attention to detail and involving the customer. Alexandrea mocked up out estimate designs for our new office spaces and they exceeded our expectations. She is truly an expert in her craft and very good at anticipating people s needs to make the design even better. She had great idea of how to improve the design as well as help meet a budget.

We hired Mukwonago Remodeling to do a major remode...

We hired Mukwonago Remodeling to do a major remodel to our house in 2015. Although it appears to look nice on the surface, there is a long list of things they screwed up in the process. False promises, out and out lies, poor management. We had some work preformed by high school kids new on the job. At one point we made them pull the kitchen and dining room floor up and totally redo it because the kid installed all the sub-floor plywood wrong side up. We had a major lack of supervision and failure to read blueprints.
We were told everyone working on our house were actual employees or Mukwonago remodeling (except the cement contractor). In reality, many people who worked on the house were sub contractors.
We have "can" lights in the ceiling but they are not flush to the surface all around. I later found out this is because the ceiling in the kitchen and the ceiling in the dining room are not the same height. The can lights are installed in this transition of height so the surface is not level so the lights have gaps in them.
Several major things, when it came time to install them, we found out they forgot to ordered them. We ordered Quartz counters and they told us they couldn't get them in our size so we had to use Granite. But watching home improvement shows we see larger counters made of quartz obtained in less then four weeks time. They cut a hole in the garage between the new addition and the garage for a door but failed to order the door. They had also forgot to order the other doors for the addition and had to scramble to get them. One door was a special order and took a week to get. It was in the bluebrints to make the bottom of one door flush with the floor, but the two floors were not the same height and now there is a two inch step to go over.
On the basement of the addition they were supposed to cut a door from the old to the new. They kept putting it off until the addition had been closed in and the sub-floor was installed. They grabbed two of our fans to vent the cement dust ruining both fans and they grabbed our vacuum and broke that too.
They didn't order a port-a-potty so the workers used our bathroom. We ended up purchasing a zipper door to keep the dust from the remodel from the rest of the house because they "forgot" to order that too.
We often had to tell sub contractors what to do as there was rarely a foreman here to oversee the job.
The cement floor in the East addition had to be removed and replaced as the first floor it was in such bad shape.
From what we were told later the company owner sold the business. So they might tell you they have been in business over 40 years but I don't think anyone working there has been there very long. During our remodel most of the help seemed to quit. we went through four foremen.
I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone except maybe for very small remodeling jobs.

We had a laundry room/full bathroom put in, plus a remodel of the main bathroom. From the start, I was impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail and responsiveness.

Even the effort they put into the quote was impressive: they took a lot of notes and measurements, and listened to our thoughts on the project.

They were patient about answering any and all questions throughout the project and made good on special requests. They cleaned up after every workday and were receptive to our feedback.

The workmanship is very good and the owner, John, made sure we were happy with the finished product.

I would recommend Mukwonago Remodeling for your next project.

We used Mukwonago Remodeling about 3 years ago to re-face our fireplace and install some custom built in wall cabinets. We couldn't have been happier with the results. It added a beautiful modern touch, while still maintaining a decor consistent with the rest of our house. It also added functionality to the room. Throughout the process, the project manager, design team, and craftsmen listened to our wants and needs, and responded accordingly.

This year we decided to update our powder room. Since we were happy with the results of our fireplace, we decided to go with them again. Again, the project manager, design team, and installers were a pleasure to work with.

If we decide to perform any more remodels on our house, we will definitely consider using Mukwonago Remodeling again, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a fair company that applies exceptional craftsmanship in all their work, at a reasonable price.

They are great to work with.

They are great to work with.
You helped us with our dream master bathroom. I had a vision and you designed it to make it happen. You made our bathroom larger and then did some built-ins on a custom wall in our bedroom to help us with more storage space, it looks unbelievable. We had thee other quotes, two lower, one higher, but Mukwonago Remodeling gave us the confidence to move forward. They told us "do it once and do it right". We did, and we Love It. Thank you again. We will call you when were ready to do our kitchen. It will be a couple years away but we loved the work you did.

Mukwonago Remodeling Corporation expanded my kitchen area by bringing down walls and opening up my new kitchen space to overlook the family room. It was a complex job, I had many quotes, they were not the cheapest, but I felt like they knew what they were doing and clearly had the best design. Kitchen area now looks fantastic. The cabinets and layout are just perfect. I never imagined it would look, feel and function so well. There were several challenges that unveiled itself along they way once the area was gutted, typical for a full remodel, but they kept me informed and guided me through the process. I highly recommend Mukwonago Remodel if you have a complex plan and want quality products. Thank you Muk Remo TEAM.

Love this company. They are very customer focused and work hard to keep you happy. They remodeled my kitchen over a year ago and over a year later I had a small issue. They came out and took care of it quickly. I highly recommend them and I would definitely use them again.

Mukwonago did a poor job on a bathroom remodel. The project took 13 weeks for a contracted 8 week project. The Mukwanago project manager would not install what the Mukwanago designer proposed and priced. Changes were done on the fly. The tile work was poorly done: the tile was poorly laid, the grout was too coarse and two different color grouts were used. Durning this negotiation, Mukwanago tried to change the warantee period to one year from the contracted 3 years. We requested lien waivers from Mukwonago's subcontractors and it took a letter from my attorney, intervention from NARI and several weeks to receive them. I would not recommend Mukwonago Remodeling.
