Love, love MSU Dairy store! The kids are wonderful, the service is great! Unfortunately the powers that be are closing down the plant!

I am NEVER disappointed on my visits to the Dairy Store! The hardest part is deciding which flavor I must have each visit. The specialty flavors like Sesquicentennial Swirl usually win out but the Black Cherry is AMAZING! They also have the traditional chocolate and vanilla for the less adventurous folks.

It was my first time trying their home made ice cream and I couldn't be more happier. Thankful for my friends who attend MSU because I was able to taste their delicious ice cream .

Absolutely my favorite place to get ice cream! This place is really nice and historic about the way they started making ice cream at MSU. The first row of flavors are all named after other colleges, which is funny. Costumer service is extremely nice. Super family-friendly. All their ice cream tastes wonderfully fresh and well made.

I went for the tour and was a little disappointed. I hear their ice cream is really good and even people who ate lactose intolerant if it isn't too bad can eat this ice cream without problem.

**HUGE TIP BEFORE REVIEW!!!**: If you are reading this before you visit The Dairy Store, and you have never been there, GO TO THE LEFT OF THE BUILDING. Especially on hot days! 9/10, they have a huge line inside, so if you want to Grab'n'Nab some ice cream and not deal with a huge line, go to the ICE CREAM TRAILER ON THE LEFT OF THE BUILDING. Review: MSU (Michigan State University) feels like a city on its own, and debatebly seen as the Heart, Soul, and Pride of East Lansing. They have their own student run power plant even. So, it's no surprise, and an even more soft and heart-felt welcome that when it came down to agriculture, that the students should be the one pulling the stops, learning the trades, and running the show! The Dairy Store has been in the community for a long time, from Cows to Milk to Product, students are there every step of the way, persuing not only a degree, but a passion to bring smiles to the community.

The Dairy Store is a small shop built into the MSU Dairy Foods Complex building on Shaw st, but don't let the official brutalist name fool you. This place is packing some serious good eats; from Cheese to Milk, to even it's well and deserved to be known Ice Cream. Walking in is a bar infront of you of some folk-lore and sports-related fueled flavors of ice cream like The Izzo's Malted Madness to the Dantonio's Double Fudge Fake, to even more related flavors such as Blue Moon or Cookie Dough. Making homemade warm waffle cones on order to freshly made ice cream. There's never a place quite as sweet as this.

Yeah, the ice cream is good. Not a huge fan of the place in general though. It gets pretty chaotic with visitors and locals; the three or so tables they have set up inside are just not enough to handle the madness. When customers pass through the doors of Anthony, it almost feel like they put on their "can I speak to the manager" wigs. As a result, the employees behind the counter get understandably curt. Food orders are irritating to place and the employees don't seem very happy about them either, so as you're biting into the grilled cheese you're sort of wondering "were you worth it??" Yeah, good ice cream. Not a pleasant place to chill.

Tha best in quality delivered by people that want your experience to be Spartan Perfect!

The ice cream and dairy products are hands-down amazing and have been for at least the 50 years that I've been going. Everything is made from dairy products from MSU cows by MSU students. Nice for a stop while touring campus.

Our favorite place! It just isn't summer without MSU Dairy ice cream! My favorite is Honors Coffee Toffee. Yum!

If you love ice cream this is a must! There is a great selection to chose from, and all at great prices. Portions are good. Staff is usually very attentive and helpful. Apparently there is more here than just ice cream... like milk, cheese and other dairy items. Wouldn't know about them... I've only focused on the important things in life. You will enjoy every stop here. Only problem is the parking. Meter parking out front of the building can be difficult to get a spot. Look for a meter with some time left on the clock (green light). There is a large lot in back of the building, but you need a permit... or a co-pilot to watch for the parking police.

Fantastic social distancing/cleanliness. All workers were pleasant and helpful! Both ice cream pints are very well packed and delicious!

I didn't care that we had to wait in line, the ice cream is so worth it! The single scoop is huge enough for each of my family. Good value, just be prepared to wait a little bit on a nice day we will definitely be back again!

Love this place! I had ordered a bunch of ice cream that I had shipped to Colorado long before I'd actually had a chance to step foot into the store. I was finally able to get ice cream in person and it's just so good. Can't wait to come back

The ice cream is the best I've ever had. It's fresh, has amazing flavour, and the texture is perfect!

They also have cheese curds and chocolate cheese for sale in the store along with sandwiches. They also make their own waffle cones.

The Dairy Store is always packed in the summer, and frequently in the winter. I'm issues known for good Dairy, good cheese, and excellent ice cream. Well I don't like the Buckeyes, the Buckeye Blitz is a wonderful ice cream.

Came here for Odyssey of the Mind, good ice cream, just lines are long.
