This place is absolutely terrible. We hired them to move our belongings from Ct to Tx. We were given a quote and was told that we would be able to get a refund if our plans were to fall through. They fell through so we didn t end up needing to use their service. We called to get our deposit back and they said it would be back to us within a week. A week goes by and nothing in my account. Give them a call and they say that they do not refund deposits. What?! Went onto their website and found in their own wording that deposits would be refunded minus 10%. Stated that to them and then they finally agreed for the refund. Another week goes by and still nothing! Give them another call and now they say we have to send in an email stating we want our refund and that they have no records of our calls. This company is a scam and a bunch of crooks and will just take you for a ride. Every call with them all you hear is partying and loud music. They are useless to society.

The Mega Van Lines company guys are awesome! They moved us out of our house into a high-rise apartment so fast and the rate was so great! I definitely recommend using this service. Couldn't have been a better experience! Price was very reasonable.

Hardworking and trustworthy.
Such hardworking and trustworthy men. Four movers came, and all were very pleasant. There were a lot of boxes and furniture to move. They even took off their shoes when entering carpeted areas. They took moving to another level. Highly prefer them.

The most horrible decision I have mad in 2020 was hiring Mega Van Lines Inc. Please see below and decide if you want to suffer the same pain:
1. I packed up all boxes and all furniture, provided the most accurate box number and inventory. Received quote $1742. One the 2nd day, the movers (from Pelican Movers LLC, Gretna, LA 70056) brought a new contract and said quote from Mega Van Line means NOTHING, they moved all my items to the truck and asked me to pay $4211 + additional labor fee upon delivery. After I complained, $393 discount provided by Pelican Movers.

2. Mega Van Line promised the door-to-door professional service when I told him I have a piano and stairs at both pick and delivery locations. However, the movers simply flipped over and dragged my piano over the stairs during pick up, and left my piano in the garage at delivery (another subcontractor: For The Best Long Distance Moving LLC). I have to pay another $300 to hire someone else to move it into my house and unknown amount for the repair. I called Mega Van Line, they don't care because my garage belongs my house. Yes, how smart they are.

3. My brand new piano get cracks at the edge and bottom, and one of the legs totally comes off, I haven't unpack it so I don't know what's further damage will be.

So far, no one from Mega Van Line is willing to help. Either endless waiting on the phone, or rude CS said they don't care.

The truck, equipment, and supplies were very new, and the driver was excellent. They all worked really well as a team. Each team member was very experienced, and it showed they worked quickly but always carefully. They finished 35 minutes early for a 3-hour job. And great communication during and post-move as well. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone considering any size move.

Very easy to book and at a reasonable price. The 2 drivers were friendly and helpful even though my doorway is quite narrow and I was worried that the sofa might not fit through. They looked at the various options and took great care to make sure that the item was not damaged. Fantastic and first class moving company. I will recommend using these guys in a heart-beat!

Run far away from this mover. They are not movers - they are a scam broker. On estimates look at their #23 "term" which says they do not actually do your move. They subcontractor out to random people that will pick up your items and they won't ever even tell you who the owner of the business nor who a manager is nor when they work.

They take a deposit then have random people in a rented truck pick up your items. That is what they did to us. Then they disappear. We have never received an entire home's worth of goods including furniture, TVs, and all personal items.

They are a call center out to take trusting people's money and are not even a real mover. We are in the process of reporting this to the authorities and we strongly warn all consumers to not do business with this broker service.

This place was awful,its such a scam,I was quoted 1649 and ended up paying over 3000,their were 2 movers who argued with each other the whole time. Then my stuff took over
2 weeks to get from MA to FL and no one could tell me where my stuff was and I called every day,and they said the truck could not leave because if the weather. The one Friday night out of the blue the driver called and said "do you want your stuff tonight,which I couldn't do because I had no warning and no banks open. Then the next day after pulling out cash 3 different times,the driver showed up by his self. So me and my 18 yr old daughter did 95% of the moving,so I paid for nothing. Then when I called to get some kind of refund,they told me call the company that did the moving,whoever mega lined contracts with, and you can never get through,no one picks up the phone and you are unable to leave a message. Also they broke a few things and there was a stain,because of some leakage in the truck This place should have negative stars. Be warned,I didn't listen to the bad reviews and I payed for it. There is more, but it's just to much to type.

Wonderful!
They're highly recommended if you value quick and efficient service. They wrapped all of our furniture in blankets and secured everything for the move like true professionals. They were able to squeeze our giant couch up the stairwell and through our front door. They did all well. I never had a good experience like them. I will always use them for my moves.

We used this company for our out-of-state move, the service was fine and it arrived quickly but they ended up charging me double what they estimated. While I understand that the actual amount was going to change, I was not expecting it to double. The people who came to get my furniture told me that they didn't understand how the company estimated so low, and then told me that my two options were to agree to the new amount or not move that day. Of course being an out-of-state move and with all plans in motion we had no other choice but to pay double what we had agreed before.
