Moxies Review

Moxie's is continueing its attempts to move away from family/casual dining and appears to be trying to bring in an upscale crowd for dining with sports fans/bar crowds on the patios. Its incremental steps are not cutting it. Service is somewhat lacking, music is blasting to drown out conversation, selection of food is smaller, portions are smaller. Quality is still good. Plating/presentation are better, and prices are higher.

My daughter found a chicken rib bone in her taco. Grateful that she didn't choke on it. Manager didn't charge for the dish. Otherwise food was okay. Had to wait for our server too long for beverage refills. Disappointed.

It's a very nice place to stay and eat- out with the family and good service too.

I had the beef dip and it was delicious. Service was very good as well.

Good food and great service. They have a very diverse menu and lots of room to move around. Recently remodeled and it is very nice!

I had the blackened chicken burger, my wife had the chicken dish, friends had the red Thai curry, fish taco, we all enjoyed our meals.

Moxie's is a step-up from a classic sport bar & grill. The menu features plenty of options from burgers and fries to steak, pizzas and pastas. There is sure to be something for everyone in a group. They have gluten free options and allow substitutions and swaps outs (for a nominal charge.) This particular location is very convenient to the hotels near the airport. The lounge area is nice, but loud with televisions and music playing.

Great food! Had a problem with my steak, was imediatly taken care of! Amazing staff!

Very disappointing. Ordered fall off the bone ribs, ya right. Couldn't begin to chew the little meat available. No steak knifes to try and cut into them. Service slow and not accomodating.

Gave my order to someone's else. Had to wait 40 minutes more once I got there. Got hom and not everything from our family bundle was in there. Avoid this location for pickup. Obviously disorganized

Elegant place but you canna be informal, attention excelent, food fresh, nice to chat.

Ordered chicken breast & brie sandwich...got 1/2 a piece of old chicken. Don't order their version of toffee pudding. Its chocolate cake with caramel sauce. At least they took it off the bill. 2*'s

Food tastes great and brew or wine selections are extensive. 2 areas, 1 for bar foodies and another for quieter meetings and family. Little pricey on some items but an overall enjoyable time. No rush atmosphere and friendly staff..Hey Cheers !

Very nice waitress pam , i asked another server about the wine and she had no knowlege at all ? WHY are you in the lounge ? Even if your 18 you should be properly trained ! The lounge was dead by the time we got our food but we still waited 20 min to get our plates cleared and the bill - appy was amazing (tuna roll) but ancholotas werent anything special , will come back again ! Server was nice and the atmoshere is great !

Their Calamri, chicken Alfredo, Rigatoni and ribs are basically the best in town. (There may be other good stuffs on the menu but these are my favorite).

The music is way too loud. Awefully close to a 85 db threshold where the staff should be in a noise management program. The male waiter and our table group were having to raise our voices significantly to be understood. Not a location i plan to revisit. We have not ordered.

Very helpful.. the supervisor (palwasha) was very helpful she made sure that everything was good and perfect.. her attitude was good towards things and for that I give her a 5 star and im sure she will make moxies a better place for customer's.

The Food was Awesome and the Staff were Great. I would suggest to go there again.

I really liked this restaurant. It is very comfortable and non-assuming. The Bellini's were fantastic, the Hors d'oeuvres remarkable, the service friendly and fast but not overly, so you can enjoy your meal at your own pace. Nice atmosphere. The mains were also very good. For my taste however the cole slaw seemed off, like it had been sitting too long in the camping cooler. Had one bite and pushed it aside. I'm sure they will look into that. They obviously care a great deal about the food and the experience. I'll definitely be back again.

Always a great experience (aside from the slow service and missing good on my birthday which was very quickly fixed and I received a $100 gift card), food is always good and always have great servers!

Excellent service tonight by our server Drew, who was quick and prompt to offer help on menu selections and drinks, had the house Thai soup, Fry's and spicy chicken antree, include herb fettuccine

Stayed here 4 nights. Rooms were amazing for the price. Moxies not so much. Heavy salt, slow service. Pretty disappointed actually as I've become a sandman advocate. Maybe next time.

Great food!! One really grouchy waitress, but the rest were good!

I dine in this place from time to time! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I go to this spot regularly. The cooking is excellent, the team is polite and the cost is decent. I like going in this restaurant over a good meal.

Friendly staff and efficient service. The Burger for lunch was tasty but unfortunate to have up-charges for everything including a garden salad instead standard fries. Craft beer selection has improved substantially! Would love to have a porter or stout on the menu too.

Pre-drinking before a box trip to Mexico! Usman was one of the best bartenders we've had!!!

Wow attached to the sandman stayed 2 times never had good service. Refused to give company discount that they offered. This along with the hotel itself resulted in 20 plus stays every 2 weeks being lost well done. We wound up staying at the Executive Royal just a few block's away a few dollars more but so worth the extra 3 min shuttle ride.

Always good food, nice atmosphere, typically not difficult to find parking. It's not too loud so you can actually have a conversation!

Was good but keeping the water filled in my glass seemed difficult for our server. Ordered etra Naan bread and only ended up getting half. Server didn't seem to take responsibility but kept blaming "them" for not bringing it. Manager didnt charge for the bread.....well I hope not!!

Great server-i wished i remember her name! Went there with my whole family and couple of friends in October 2016. Right after I arrived from a long trip. Food was amazing and she was very knowledgeable -even though she was new ! Having a good server just makes your experience a lot better!

It is a great place to have good dinner with your family or friends. The manager and staff nice people.

Bellini's always my go to here and I loved it. Service could have been better though. We had to flag down our server numerous times before she gave us any attention and have to ask repeteadly and wait awhile for condiments to be brought. It was not busy at all when we came just before 4pm on Saturday, September 8th.

Had the Mustard Dill Salmon, my favourite meal of all restaurant meals. Great atmosphere.

Just waited for 20 mins on the patio, coming from the airport. No acknowledgement, no server to be found. Left for a five star experience down the street at the Cactus Club! Won t be back.

Food was good. Service was not. Order was wrong, was not made right when we commented. Asked for leftovers to get boxed up and never got them.

This place knows how to please their clients. Consistently with a nice demeanor. The food is affordably priced, constantly delicious and neat.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I must say their customer service is always good and they keep the spot clean all the time. Prices are convenient and they serve sizeable portions.

Excellent food and excellent service. Of course any restaurant that has a TV and a fireplace in the men's room is pretty special.

Surprisingly good taste. Big applause for the chef who made wonder out of ordinary food! Best grilled salmon I had.

For someone whos not from calgary or even Alberta i totally recommend this place. Tonight we had dinner there and due to my cousins disabilities he had to leave. The waiter came over and asked if he was ok because she has a nephew like that. She was very very kind and the food was amazing. Thank u so much to our waitress ( i didn't get her name ) for being amazing and being our own little photographer after our dinner.

Celebrated Valentine's day here. Food was about par for a Moxies, place was nicely decorated.

This place is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. everytime I feel like having a good lunchon, this place comes immediately to my mind. superb and varied food and a large menu.trained team, and good vibes. Also, the pay is decent. I tell about this restaurant with pleasure.

Had a great meal, only concern was the waiter seemed to be hurrying us along, but overall great food and good experience.
