I purchased a model house last year Nov in Clare Ave in Welland from mountainview homes , and moved in Dec 2015, than no heat in the winter , now no air conditioners (cool) in this summer , spent CAD$500,000 purchased cold die in winter hot die in Summer's house, regret recommend two friend purchased them build house B4, hope nothing happen for there's new house
We have lived in 3 Mountainview Homes. Service and quality has been exceptionally consistent over the past 15 years. Looking forward to house #4.
Asked you guys to fix the grade on a house 3 times. Please come do it. B4 water comes in through the window again. Thanks
Construction workers working in thorold On Hawthorne are super immature and unprofessional. These guys are little kids and act like they run the place. NO ONE DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BUILDER. The company should retrain their staff and teach them a little something about respect and courtesy.
Super unprofessional staff working in Thorold. They think they own the place because they have a construction site on Richmond. The workers act as if they can do whatever they want and need a reality check to put them in their place. Would not recommend such unprofessional and childish staff to anyone. The construction workers impose a risk to all residents residing in the area by blocking roads, and on top of everything, be a nuisance to the neighborhood by being rude and disrespectful. Management needs to retrain their workers and teach them how to coincide with neighbouring residents.
We are building house with Mountain-view homes. My review will be ongoing as we progress and start living in the house. So far experience has been great, their staff is very helpful and got a lot of selection at the design house to choose your materials from.
Very beautiful constructions...... Excellent customer care. Nadine and Bonnie were phenomenal. On the dark side very expensive with no upgrade, appliances or any other offer even if you are going with top of the line model. If would have given some packages then 5 stars
Beware of this builder, they never deliver your house on time. Very hard to deal with, any changes you do will have to go through a hard process. If they want to extend the date then they will do it as much as they want. But if you need a day they will charge you hefty fine, If not they will threaten you to cancel the sale. I will never deal with such a bad builder
Over the past 12 plus years, I along with my brothers have purchased and lived in over a dozen homes from Mountainview and each experience has been fantastic. Their entire team was nothing but first class. from start to finish. They always put the customer first and were able to meet any request we had. One of my favourite builders in Niagara and also a true corporate citizen. Thank you!

I would not recommend Lisa banh as your first point of contact for purchasing with this builder, she is dishonest and treats people indifferently.
As a tradesmen whom has worked for many new development builders I know Mountainview Homes as a top tier company that uses the best quality materials on their houses with highly skilled tradesmen to install. Mountianview builds a personal relationship with each trade and ensures that the buyers are satified with their new home. These houses are built efficently, look around the surveys they are kept clean, it is safe, houses have brickledges, they use "real" plywood for the roof, blueskin and tar on foundations preventing water damage. They provide everything up to code and specifications for each trade. If there are mistakes you can be sure that the trades have been paid regardless as they work with integrity and Mountianview should not be held responsible for any defiencies as they make sure us "tradesmen" recieve fair and full payments. Every issue is addressed by a mountianview employee and companies have a chance to fix any deficencies. I truly think that Mountianview is the #1 home builder in North America. As they truly care about its employees its sub trades and most important their home buyers making dreams into a reality.

Worst builder ever! From the moment we moved in, nothing but problems. Cracked tiles, window condensation after 6 years, laid bricks before concrete on porch so raining in cellar the first week we moved in, cracked toilet tanks, I could go on and on. Had to argue to get anything fixed and partially fixed cellar which was never totally fixed. That was only the first 6 years. Renovating now and finding all kinds of new problems. Tried to sell but too many issues with house. Do not build with Mountainview! I would give a negative star if u could!
If you are not currently building a home with Mountainview, then you are out of luck! I came home one day to find my fence was removed by Mountainview, with no warning! Then I was told it would be re-installed, and reimbursed for any costs incurred during this period of no fence (dog tie out, etc). Its been over 3 months, and still nothing has been done. Fence was placed back into the ground, but if you lean on the fence, you don't know if you might land in the neighbors basement because they chose not to re-pour the holes with cement. Geoff and Maria both have led me on with lies regarding reimbursement and status of my fence. Receiving awards with the Chamber and national home builder associations, it would be nice to receive professional services. Also, if you stop in at their model home in the Fernwood Estates subdivision, good luck with having anyone ever there during their "Open hours".
