My father and I both worked here 20 years apart and we can both agree that APC does not care about you. Management is condescending and treats the floor workers like they are ignorant and have no idea what they are talking about. Intrashift communication above the floor is poor and documentation is a joke. The bonus payout system is a joke too.
Machine maintenance is overlooked causing downtime and unnecessary weekends, digging a deeper hole. Several of those in maintenance are old and don't care; they're just waiting for retirement.
I was jerked around by HR over hearing protection who stated I was not trained in properly taking care of ear muffs, then the story changed to I needed a doctors' note and changed again to the company supplied 3M ear muffs were not adequate anymore (other employees were jealous because they were in fact given lesser quality ones). I went straight to the President of the company over this and nothing was done about it.
However the pay is great and if you can read a tape measure and do basic mathematics you are qualified. If you can get past any misgivings it could be a great place to work. I value my experience gained here.

Rude... I was going to start this past week. Got a text saying come in Wednesday to do paper work. Tuesday night got another text saying come in Wednesday. Got another text saying come in Monday. So i called alex sunday night to make sure i was still on for monday morning. He told me no bc he heard i was looking for another job so he said not to come in Monday. Very rude.
I have been to many corrugated plants in my career and I have yet to find a plant with better people, processes, and equipment under one roof. Advance Packaging is hands down the best high end post printers on corrugate in the country.

I have a close, respectful, and hard working friend who has now worked for this company for about three years. Every time we get together he can't stop talking about his experience at AP. He absolutely loves it there and does not intend to leave anytime soon, if ever. The pay is great, the people are nice to be around, and the overall work environment is spot on and enjoyable. Overheard the staff they were going to fire someone and lied to the person once he walked in and caught them in a lie. Very unprofessional to talk about private things out in the open. I'll make sure their clients hear about this. Luckily, I know the clients names and locations. They'll see how they really treat their employees and or temps. What kind of business are you seriously??
Delivered paper rolls. Open till late evening.
Leave the paperwork and seal in the back of the trailer. Back into Dock 24/25 for rolls. Once they re done unloading they will put back the signed paperwork back in the trailer. No appt required. Can park overnight. No restrooms.

HR is a disgusting joke! You do NOT want anything to do with advanced packaging. They lie. They lie and did I mention that they LIE! What horrible place. HR are liars.
Advance Packaging is very helpful. The design lab is wonderful to work for. The inside sales/customer service team along with our sales rep is nothing but helpful and very professional. Outstanding service with wonderful product and timely on their help.
My dream job!!! I've been in the corrugated industry for many years and have worked for others, but none compare to the leadership at APC. It makes all the difference in our abiility to provide world class packaging and displays to our customers. It's an honor to be a part of this amazing team.

Advanced Packaging is a fantastic company to work with! Their designers do a great job with all of our requests in a timely fashion and help us better understand required testing. Our sales Rep is always willing to come to our facility to better understand our requests. Friendliest employees, very clean and organized facility, and the quality of the product is great. Truck driver. Awesome place. Open receiving and shipping 8am to 2pm. Arrived at 8:10am. Greeted by a fantastic guy in the office. Got a dock (not too bad to get into) the docks 24 and 25 a bit tricker if another truck is parked in dock 23 (dock im in) but still lots of space to move. Got the red light less than 2 mins of docking and started loading me. Quick and easy. Also have a couple spots you can park and do a 30 min break or 10 hour break.

Was supposed to start today. Let s start off by saying I was running late this morning, got there and was not told what door to go into for one, found the door, asked an employee where I was supposed to go since I was starting today he told the break room and told me where to go. So I went in there and waited till the boss came in and I got yelled at for being a couple mins late on my first day. Then she had me and the 2 other people that were starting today as well sit in the break room for an hour before she came and got us. Then told us that I could not have my phone on me. Well I am sorry I need to have my phone on me in case of an emergency. The other two that were with me did not have to go put there phones in there cars. Needles to say when she told me to go put my phone in my car I left. Would not recommend this place.
