Mountain view grand resort & spa Reviews

We had lunch here in late September on a weekday. We were the only ones in the dining room. The view from the resort is absolutely stunning and we enjoyed walking around the main (public) part of the hotel and driving around the grounds. It was a cold, rainy day, so we couldn't sit on the veranda. Next time! I expected a first class fine dining experience, which I did not get. The waiter was okay, and the food was good. We will return in the summer for lunch!

My family and I recently stayed at Mountain View Grand for two nights. We had previously stayed here about six years ago. I would say that our stay met our expectations. There is certainly a lot of activities at the resort for all ages. We went on the farm tour, which was fun and informative! We also went in both the indoor and outdoor pools. They were both nice and well maintained, but the indoor pool s heater was broken, so it was very cold. I m sure that this doesn t happen often, and it was just unlucky for us. The rooms are nice, but a bit small. I really appreciate how to hotel stays true to the original design, but is also updated. The hotel also has a large patio with an amazing view of the beautiful mountains! Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay here!

Absolutely gorgeous location in the White Mountains! We recently attended a wedding here, and although it is remote, it is a slice of heaven. Beautiful views all around, wonderful venue, very friendly staff, great food, pool, gorgeous gardens, tennis courts and the rooms were great. It can be a little pricey, but worth it for a nice serene getaway.

Very nice hotel! The staff is nice but can be serious to the point you feel they are not nice. The bar is always awesome. The menu however has gotten VERY limited so be prepared for that. The pizzas are always good though, so there is always that option. The berry spritzer is worth a try and so is the basil gin house. Bar staff is always friendly and accommodating. Had massages too but some of the staff we used to use have left so this time the deep tissue was more like a light rubbing. Make sure you specify exactly what it is you are looking for. Overall a fun experience as usual!! If you are in Northern NH you have to stop here!!

Clean rooms and quiet atmosphere. Very relaxing. Maurice at the bar provided excellent service and was very personable!

Beautiful hotel, spectacular grounds overlooking the mountains. Comfortable room, with comfy bed. Limited dinning options, but the food is good. Would definitely come back again!

After having stayed at the resort several times, each being a great and different experience my wife/ I decide to stay in the same area this fall outside of the resort this time do to our 4 legged family coming along. After having a great dining experience during one of our stays in the wine cellar for our B-days/anniversary I called to make a reservation for this trip expecting the same hospitality and over overabundance of help to create another special/memorable evening. I was connected to a reservation taker whom was both unfriendly and extremely unhelpful with working with me to make such a reservation. Eventually (30 seconds) without even allowing me to suggest other options outside of a weekend day that we would be happy with for a reservation she hung up on me. I was hoping for the same great experience as in the past but now will no longer consider or stay at this resort nor eating at its several establishments. I understand the current times have all on edge, overworked, etc.. but being in a hospitality type business I would expect better.

Nice resort which commands a great view. Nice 9 hole golf course. Overall this is a nice place to spend time. I took these photos at around 5am last week. Beautiful night sky.

What a beautiful setting! The view from the front sh[waves the golf course with the amazing backdrop of the mountains. The restaurant food and service were terrific as well.

Stayed here for a wedding and it was absolutely delightful. Staff is so nice and the accommodations were excellent!!!! Beautiful room and you get fresh towels and room maid service daily. Lovely grounds, hiking trails and a Llama farm. Grab a coffee or book and sit out front and enjoy the magnificent view!!!! Very relaxing!!!!
