Mountain Crest Gardens Review

I have ordered several sets of plants from Mountain crest and have been generally very happy. However One plant arrived and seem to be half dead. I have contacted them twice about this plant and even sent pictures, but have had no response back yet.

Good experience and easy navigation on the webpage, two of the plants were slightly damaged upon receiving them but they were very quick to offer compensation to resolve the issue!

Mountain crest gardens carries a large selection of succulents. The ordering platform needs an overhaul because I had to refresh my order 4 times since the succulents I wanted were out of stock. Instead of informing me which ones were out of stock in one screen, the website took 4 times to refresh and only displayed one out of stock plant at a time. The order arrived quickly and everything was delivered as promised. The succulents, however, were not as healthy as I expected and did not look as pictured on the website. They were not very colorful at all and did not resemble the photos posted on the website.

Nice selection of succulents one won't find in big box stores. Impressively packed for timely shipping. Even the most delicate in my order arrived unscathed.

This is the first order I've made from Mountain Crest. I was very impressed by their prompt service and the excellent quality of their product. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you very much for your exceptional service!

I had ordered them to give to some o f my teachers for my last day of high school and my teachers loved them, I do as well. They are so pretty and unique and I never got 2 of the same, they where all different.

Everything came quickly and well packaged. Slightly dried out given how hot it is but everything bounced back nicely. Thanks for the nice plants and great service.

I thought other places delivered plants the way they had to be not that great but still alive. I figured that was the way it had to be sending plants through the mail. MCG showed me otherwise. My plants came SO healthy and packaged beautifully so they didn t get crushed.

Beautiful succulents that arrived happy and healthy!

Everything arrived mostly intact. Just one plant had two or three broken leaves. The moss-covered planter had no plants in it, which I don't think was clearly explained when I ordered it, and in retrospect its cost may not be fully justified, but it's HUGE and obviously well-made. The plants I ordered are so beautiful! And considering it had to ship to Alaska, the shipping was extremely fair.

All of our other orders have been perfect, but this batch included some mildew and plants missing leaves! Overall we've been very happy with the quality of succulents and the prompt shipping.

I received my order and the only thing negative I can say is that they were bounced around a lot before getting to me apparently because some of the plants were completely out of the pots and the soil was everywhere.. pretty big mess and I was worried about whether or not the plants would be ok. The plants are good so far so I guess it didn t traumatize them too much. I m not sure if I would want to order plants again to come through the US post office or not. The company themselves took great care in packaging them for transportation because there was so much packing material in the box and I know it wasn t their fault but I do have to take off one star due to the way they were delivered.

All the plants arrived in good shape and are now transplanted into the garden.

unboxing was a frustrating experience which ended with quite a mess on my floor. I think i will have better luck next time.

For the very first time I received a succulent that was not of top quality. The packaging was so tight that much of the plant broke in transit/or broke as I tried to unwedge it from the box. It was packed with another succulent and 2 boxes containing ceramic containers. Have always been happy with product prior to this.

Plants arrived very nicely packaged. Two of the succulents I ordered were already stretched out/elongated. I emailed the company's customer service but received no response, just email spam from them.

Packaging was more than I expected it to be. Everything was wrapped securely. I will be ordering again. I plan to plant these in bird cages. One for me and one for my friend.

Plants look great! I was expecting something a little bigger for the price. Even though you labeled the box This side up it was not delivered that way. One of the plants was not right side up in the pot but, I am an intermediate/advanced gardener so the little guy was saved! The heat pack was cold and hard and the box what not adequately packed to hold the heat pack in place with the plants. As a customer we re spending the extra money for it so I expect the care of packing delicate plants to me meticulous. Other companies I ve used choose tissue paper to provide a top to bottom cushion. I do love the variety offered and will be purchasing again!

My hens and chicks arrived on time and seem to be healthy plants. I'll be back to order again soon as I do every season.

Ordered a cactus tray , six just rotted off at the bottom with in the first week . sent pictures,Sara emailed me back with questions on how the plants were taking care of, My daughter has a succulent business so taking care of them wasn t a problem. The only problem was I waited a little over two weeks to email the company . Still haven t heard anything back. I personally will order from somewhere else next time.

I didn't realize the plants would be soooo tiny but that's okay. What bothered me the most is when I opened the box there was soil everywhere. Perhaps you should put some kind of covering over the soil when shipping.

The plants that survived are very cute but one fell apart and another and one was basically dead. A couple were a little dreary too. I'm happy with some of the ones that survived but I don't think I'll place another order, I'd rather get them in person from now on.

I have very little space in my apartment left due to finding Mountain Crest gardens. The shipping is quick, and the plants always arrive looking like they were selected for quality and packaged with special attention and love. I truly appreciate their spike labels, and the care instruction cards you get. The fact everything is recyclable is a huge plus, and I will always support a company who helps the environment. The prices are unbelievably reasonable and I get excited ever time I click the check out button. I think the next thing I need is a bigger place, to put all my succulents!

I received my order in perfect time, and this is in no way a reflection on the seller, but the shipping service had to have tossed around the box the succulents I ordered came in. No amount of securing the little containers could have withstood that amount of battery. I was able to clean them all up and repot them and now they re perfect and hopefully doing well. I definitely recommend Mountain Crest Gardens for quality plants. The box was clearly labeled with live plants and this end up with arrows, so FedEx should have done a better job on their end.

Worst customer service ! It s a shame with such beautiful succulents they have to offer.

My plant came a little wilted and is perking up as I expected. It came surprising fast which was a nice surprise.

My order arrrived in beautiful condition. I repotted half the order two days later and left half in the original pots. The repotted plants were noticably larger wlithin two days and those in the original pots were also larger tho didn't show as much growth. I am delighted and will order again.

The FedEx deliverer set the box on its side on my mother's porch and she said the dirt from small set of 9 succulents had emptied in the box. She was upset with the delivery guy since the box said live plants. I think the plants are doing okay but it sure did ruin the delight of opening her mother's day gift.

After dealing with a grower whose tray arrived with half plants dead, a quarter wilted, I searched for a company with staff I could speak wit. Not only could I speak with staff but the most unusual & healthy plants arrived just in Tim for my son' wedding Rehearsal Dinner.gifts.I' ll never use another grower. Mountain Crest Gardens is the most professional, kind & explain any questions. Don' t fool b fooled for massive 3rd parties, go straight to Mountain Crest!

This was my forth time ordering from Mountain Crest Gardens and I could not be happier. The plants arrive healthy with specific instructions. I've been known to kill succulents and a cactus or two in the past. Now that I use Mountain Crest my plants are happy and healthy!
