Don't know who's fault but a couple are not in the best shape. could be due to the weather, the post man, probably shouldn't ship in the winter to Michigan

Well packaged, and succulents were even larger than I expected )based on website descriptions).

My plants arrived much sooner than anticipated. They are in good shape and are acclimating to their new home. I will definitely be back to purchase more in the near future!

Wrong plants was sent, SOAKED, one completely rotted, several more that has rot but i can possibly cut it off and save the plant.

I ordered as a gift for a friend and they arrived intact and healthy. She loved them.

I have had ok luck with these. Some of the succulents ended up dying or not doing well upon a week after arrival I guess because of the change in environment maybe.

I ordered the ornaments and they arrived packaged carefully and I m happy with the quality of the plants!

It was a gift from my husband and I have the impression that I went overboard by buying so many cacti. Couldn t finish planting them over the weekend, run out of soil and containers that I had bought in advance!

I just wanted to say that my fiance and I were VERY impressed with our order. We couldn't believe how perfect and flawless the Sempervivum tray was delivered. I figured (ordering such a large amount) that a few would not be that presentable, but that simply was not the case, every single one was perfect. Also, the assistance we received on what size pots to get for this order was also dead on - we ordered the recommended pot size and the plugs are a perfect fit. Anyway I just wanted to give credit where credit was due. Thanks again for all your help, these are going to be such an awesome addition to our wedding!

This shipment took twice as long to arrive as it usually does, and one of the plants, Delosperma Tangerine Tango , is too far gone to survive.
Other plants, with exception of Rebutia, looked sad but have recovered.

Plant was exactly as described and in really good condition, packed with care.

Wow! Mountain Crest Gardens is a great find! I used their website to order succulents for an upcoming event and they had everything I was looking for... and more. Pricing is very competitive and reasonable. Shipping was super fast and my plants arrived in awesome condition. There's so much attention to detail that I wasn't expecting -- individual id tags in each pot, incredible packing care, water-dissolvable packing peanuts (how cool!), detailed care instructions. Mountain Crest Gardens just became my first (and likely only) stop for all things succulents and terrariums!

I received my order on the date it was due to arrive, and she was in great condition, gave her a bit of H2O ands is doing wonderful. I have wanted a String of Pearls and I can t be more pleased.

I use Mountaincrestgardens.com frequently and have been nothing but pleased each time. Plants are healthy and well packed, orders are timely delivered, and the customer service has been impeccable (this is the biggest selling point for me).

Love the plants . My original intent was for outdoor planting but instead planted indoors . Hopefully they will thrive inspite of me hovering over them

My succulents, were simply put in a box and sent. There was no packaging around any of it. So basically, I received 30+ succulents in a pile of dirt in a box. Very disappointing. When I called I barely received an apology, and was told to file a claim with the route shipping insurance. Not impressed. I wish I had the option of submitting a picture in this review.
Update: I received a full refund from the route shipping insurance I purchased , and it appears that only a couple of the 33 I ordered will not survive.

About 20 percent of the hens and chicks were either fuzzed over with white webbing or soft and mushy. The others were fine, but the site should say they need bright sunlight or a heat lamp. Its a rainy season and we have neither sun nor heat lamp, so we may lose them all. They made nice centerpieces though for the moment.

I received my plants in perfect condition and in a timely manner. I chose the "Donkey Ears"..Love these little plants.

I am thrilled to have discovered succulents from Mountain Crest Gardens in beautiful Ft. Jones, CA. My plants arrived as promised with updates on time of arrival. The packing was exceptionally well done. The plants were obviously hand selected for beauty and optimal stage of growth with great care (nearly flowering, sprouting buds, etc). Really a great experience to be their customer.

Upon arrival, the plants were covered in potting medium, as well as the bottom of the box.

I ordered a Bear's Paw and a variety pack of 5 howarthias. The Bear's Paw was fully intact despite its fragile leaves, and all the howarthias had incredibly robust roots and beautiful formation. I was very impressed.

The ordering online is so easy! Ordered on a Sunday, shipped on a Monday and delivered all they way across the nation *California to Maine* by Friday!! We got the mini plug tray of sempervivums and MANNNN are they gorgeous!! Absolutely no damage to anything and the roots to all of them were outstanding.

They fit perfectly in arrangements and, in our eyes, was totally cost effective if you like making arrangements yourself. They fill in great and compliment anything around them, while also making great stand alone pieces if you like!

The plants are beautiful and arrived undamaged. I purchased these to hand over to a florist to make wedding reception centerpieces so I hope I can keep them alive long enough. They look very healthy. I had purchased small succulents in bulk from another source and lost about 1/4 if them before I needed them for shower favors. This time I went with a grower.

Mountain Crest is a great place to buy succulents. Not only are the plants well packed and carefully shipped, their website has information and tips that most sellers don't provide. They are my first choice for adding to my succulent collection.

I got the order one day ahead of the promised del date which is normal for mountain crest gardens and all succulents where in great condition. I just got done trans planting and will give them a good drink of water on this Friday

Beautiful array of succulents just arrived at our door through lightning fast shipping. All items came lovingly packaged in water soluble peanuts, brown paper shreds, and a warming pack so that the tender roots would not freeze in the always uncertain New England weather. Received my plant in less than a week appears to be very healthy hopefully I can keep it that way just starting out with succulents

They are beautiful little ones, but with care they will grow.

Ordered some succulents on 9/10/19 and they were delivered on 9/13/19. So delivery time was pretty good. I was disappointed though that Mountain Crest went through USPS to deliver...they are notorious for doing less than the bare minimum when delivering. So on the box there is a small notice that says "This side up" and the delivery man not only tossed the box on my door step but he also had it upside down. He didn't even bother knocking on the door. I had only heard foot steps..so I got up to get the door and he took off. That was off to a bad start. I opened the box and of course since the delivery man failed to do the one job he had, my succulents had soil all in the little nooks and crannies. I ordered a total of 5 succulents and one of my succulents has long stems and it came broken off/split. So half of my new baby is broken off. I could purchase these same succulents from a new small business that is in my hometown that I found a day after ordering. They were significantly cheaper. I can hope these will do well at my residence but I honestly don't think I would repurchase from this website unless I lived in an area that only sold succulents from big box companies. Here are a few of the succulents I purchased. I will say I am pleased with the quality of them!

My semps arrived safely, and in the middle of the heatwave. I let them recover a few days, then planted them. Two days later I'm wondering how they ever fit into their little pots, they've spread out so. They're looking great, each and every one.

Ordered from MCG twice.

1st time: order comes early, but 3 out of my 7 succulent Christmas ornaments fell off their containers (the tins & 1 on mini clay pot) before I even take out all the shredded paper. I guess the glue didn't dry completely before they put the item in the box? I replaced it with soil.

2nd time: order plugs only. They are in better conditions than the ones I got on the Christmas ornaments.
