There were only 2 sales ladies, and it seemed tone their first day. They were quite rude and I was embarrassed as we just moved here and I brought a friend/ tourist along. Some of the prices were manageable for small gifts, but the sales ladies were completely unhelpful. When we inquired about the smell of the place , which smelled like cat urine, they were very defensive while we were just thinking a lot of ammonia was being used in the factory.
Will not return. Hope my friends purchase doesn't break. Do not recommend.

My wife and I recently visited the Mt. Rushmore Black Hills Gold jewelry store (Riddle's Jewelry) in Rapid City. We were assisted by Matt Minnick and Jesse Riddle. Their customer service was outstanding; they expertly led us through their extensive selection of jewelry and quickly helped my wife to select two beautiful pieces at a very reasonable price.

We loved the tour and presentation. Ended up buying a ring after watching the care and talent of the team members. Money well spend. Also the company standing up for the product they sell after the sale.

Matt was amazing to work with. We had custom-made jewelry and he was patient and worked with us from start to finish. The manager Jesse worked with us on making sure we left satisfied customers. We will definitely be returning when we come to South Dakota.

I sent in a pair of earrings and i asked how much they charged to get the post fixed and 1st they said the did not charge for that repair and they cleaned them to i was not expecting that i love them and i will go to them for all the jewelry repairs i need Thanks for y'alls amazing work!!!.

I love this place. Only wish they had more sizes there to pick from in smaller(4.5 up)

I purchased three rings of different sizes, for my wife and they had to be resized. The first ring of the three had to be resized twice because we gave the wrong size the first time.

Resizing the first ring twice resulted in the shank being exceedingly thin, because the elegance of the ring originally required a slender shank. Resizing such a shank twice resulted in one too thin.

I spoke to Jesse who was very gracious and offered to rebuild the shank at no cost. He did this knowing that we had mistakenly given the wrong size for the ring to be resized to.

It is an honor to deal with business people such as Jesse who went above and beyond what would be expected to provide excellent service to his customers.

I will certainly be a continuing customer in the future. Thanks Jesse for a great experience.

Cool factory tour but terrible customer service!! Our tour bus had a pre-planned stop here and we ended up being 40 minutes late for reboarding due to their lack of clerks to assist us and ring up sales. Consequently they missed out on several sales as many of us just chose not to wait.

Went there Saturday 6/27. Found out there are no tours on the weekend . Large selection of jewelry, bought blue topaz ring, Black Hills Gold pendants for wife and daughter, very good prices.

The people here are very welcoming kind friendly and very helpful. Prices are not bad great quality jewelry. A must

SCAM. They will lie to you while smiling and looking you in the eyes.

I needed the battery in my watch replaced and I SPECIFICALLY asked them if they would re-water proof it as part of the process. They assured me i would be able to swim with it after they were done. I took a shower an hour later and it nearly killed the watch.

Secondly, the "new" battery ONLY LASTED 5 MONTHS. My first battery lasted 4 years.

Lastly, and most importantly, in the process of changing the battery they broke the bracket that held the band in place. I had to take it back to them 4 times before they "fixed it" with super glue... The day i picked the watch up the band fell off AS I WAS PUTTING IT ON MY WRIST IN THE STORE! How did they believe that was acceptable?

I would hesitate to buy their gold even at scrap gold prices.
