Couple years ago I had a doctor tell me I had an std only to find out 2 weeks later after getting the paper work faxed over to my gp that he read the rest results wrong. A different time I had a nurse there tell me i didnt have lupus and that it was probably allergies, without running any tests. Then tonight I waited 15 minutes in the waiting room for them to finally come out and tell me they cant help me or even check me in because they were to busy. They didnt even ask me what was wrong they just straight up told me to leave.
The emergency room doctor almost always acts like his patients are the bane of his existence. The nurses are the only ones that bother to be helpful and nice. One if the incidents we came here for was to have our toddler son checked when he stepped on a stray piece of glass and we were left with him wailing in the waiting room for an hour and a half before we were brought in and it took another hour and a half of mostly waiting before our son was treated, x-rayed, and discharged. I would rather bleed out in the back of an ambulance going to some other hospital than risk putting my life in the hands of that doctor if such an event ever occurred that I'd need to make that choice.
I have seen a lot of med flight drop offs, and pick ups to this hospital emergency room. I live like 3 blocks away. I have not had any problems with the staff or the treatment. I have not been sent home undiagnosed or with the wrong prescriptions. There is an on site pharmacy and it is not too large to walk around in. Lots of positive here.
