Although I received good service and enjoyed the food I couldn t overlook the employee asleep at the table in front of me. When I first arrived he was watching YouTube. Within a few minutes he had lain down on the table and gone to sleep. This was between 12:30 and 1:30 pm. Prime time lunch hour and an employee is sleeping in the middle of the restaurant. I mentioned this to my waitress and she didn t seem phased by it. Not the best impression.

WENT INTO THE PLACE & PLACED MY ORDER WHICH WAS TAKEN PROMPTLY
UPON SITTING & WATCHING THE CHEF & HIS FEMALE ASSISTANT PREPARE A PRIOR ORDER THAT CONTAINED RAW FISH THEY THEN STARTED ON MY ORDER WITHOUT CHANGING THEIR GLOVES
I THEN APPROACHED THE YOUNG LADY AT THE FRONT DESK TO GIVE ME A REFUND BECAUSE OF THE CHEFS (x2) ACTIONS
I ADVISED THEY DIDNT CHANGE THEIR GLOVES & THE FEMALE CHEF STARTED GIGGLING ABOUT CHANGING HER GLOVES
I ADVISED THATS CALLED CROSS CONTAMINATION AND I DIDNT ORDER RAW FOOD
REFUND PLEASE

For Rolla this is some pretty good sushi rolls. We had some tempura items as well. It was rather quiet in there kinda like a library. I guess it would be good to take someone on a date there. Worth a visit!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Rolla! The lunch bento box is the best and quite a deal! The miso soup and ginger salad dressing are better than competing restaurants. My personal favorite is the spicy bulgogi. Staff is always super friendly and service is very quick. I love mottomo so much that I go almost weekly. I can t say enough good things about this restaurant!

It definitely is more of a mix of Japanese, Korean and a small influence of Chinese.
The food is absolutely amazing and tastes very fresh.

Probably the best restaurant in Rolla. They have plenty of great Asian options including delicious vegan options.

I ve been visiting Rolla for over 4 years as my kiddo has been earning their undergrad and now graduate degrees. This is my go-to restaurant.

We were allowed in the door without a mask. I asked the guy in there...So, we have to wear it 15 ft to the table and then it's safe to take it off? He said yes. That makes about as much sense as washing your car in the rain.

We don't carry masks around with us. We still live in reality. We went over to KOI and were seated with no mask. We were happy to spend our money there.

Chicken teriyaki was delicious. My daughter has two different kinds of sushi and said it was very good.

It was ok. I was just happy to be able to go inside to dine.

Staff was friendly and food was well priced and prompt.

My wife and I started coming here pretty frequently. We are trying to try everything on the menu at least once, and so far everything has been really good. Of course there are things we do and don't like, but we cant say anything bad obviously because it would be our fault for ordering it lol.
So far our service has been good, the food reasonably priced for what it is, and the food has been great and comes out relatively quick!
I like the spicy things that my wife doesn't like, and she likes anything that I may not like so all in all it's a fun date night to come and order random sushi to surprise ourselves.

Love the mix of Japanese and Korean. The Bento Box lunch special with Bulgogi is my favorite, the BiBimBop a close second, and the Sushi rolls are good too.

The food and service were excellent! They have the best udon soup I have ever had! The tempura is delicious. They so have a few authentic Korean menu items. My Korean mother ordered the Bibimbap, cautiously optimistic that it would be similar to what she is used to. She was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. And it was really good. We are from out of town and I'm really kind of sad that we probably won't ever have the chance to eat there again.

Food was really good.The green tea the server said was sweet tasted like water and was not sweet an I like green tea. And when I went to the bathroom my boyfriend paid and was gonna wait at the table for me to get out of the bathroom but they cleared the table as soon as we stood up which was kind of annoying and they didn't clear any of our dishes while we were actually at the table so my boyfriend ended up accidentally knocking sauce on the floor. So food awsome ..service not so much.

Consistently excellent! The best option for gluten-free dining in Rolla. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The sushi is top-notch. Our new go-to for date night.

By fat the best deal. prices are cheaper than any other place ive been and the quantities are very large.The food is clean and as someone who only eats out, it is a regular destination. VERY AUTHENTIC, Try the specials, youll be pleased, i am-mike@alwest

Ultra high-quality sushi for a small town restaurant. The elderly sushi chef is very experienced and knows exactly what you want and if they don't have it he will tell you. Their prices are extremely reasonable for sushi and they have a wide variety. Beautiful, clean restaurant and staff is very well educated on their food. They can get very busy on the weekends and you may have to wait for a table but there's a reason why they're busy, they are just that good.

I travel all over the country for work. I stop at a small sushi place like this for lunch about 3 times a week and this was easily the best I ve ever had. I will definitely be back!

Larger assortment of sushi to choose from. Very good sushi, if you like spicy, pork bulgogi is for you!! Great staff and service. Would definitely come back.

Best sushi I have had in a long time. Their Teriyaki Steak was a great dish too. I have a sesame seeds allergy, so I asked them to make without seeds, and they prepared the meal to order. Great service here too. Their steak was sweet, and tasted amazing. I also appreciate how they gave out coffee flavored sweets at the end. That was the icing on the cake. It's just a small, family-owned business, but I really enjoy coming here when we are in the Rolla area.
