If you are influencer, or like to think of yourself as an influencer, or like watching influencers take photos of food, this is the place for the you. The food is visually very impressive. If, on the other hand, you re after a venue that serves food that impresses in any way, you should go elsewhere.

The food is good on paper, but tastes extremely average. The combination of ingredients and foods seem like they d work when you see them on the menu, however when you receive the food it is simultaneously very very bland and also somehow overwhelmingly rich. It costs an amount of money that sets the expectation that the food is very good, which is absolutely not the case.

There are other much better and cheaper options in West End. Give your money to businesses who aren t gentrifying the area. If you like very effete, inoffensive and boring food, feel free to go here I guess

I was really underwhelmed and disappointed with this cafe, service was lacking and coffee was average, went cold easily and was nothing special. Unfortunately the cafe does not substitute items for dietary requirements.
The cafe was very open and clean but it is hard to hold a conversation as it can become really loud.

The store owner greeted me without a smile and gave me a seat at the end of a long bench. There was plenty of other seating which I would have preferred as I was needing a table for two.

The staff continually walk around and it was very unsettling and off putting. Such a shame as it made the cafe seem busy and overwhelming, even though the design and aesthetic of the cafe looks great. Even though staff were around, it was hard to get their attention when needing to order. Customer service wasn't great either, staff weren't very friendly about catering to vegan options and seemed annoyed by it. The attitude of the staff was far from friendly and needs improvement.

I had the avocado toast and can be made vegan without the egg. Was very fresh and delicious, herbs and spices were a great touch. Squeezing the lime on top can make the flavours a bit too much. I added a side of hash brown, was quite crisp but it was nothing outstanding and tasted similar to one from McDonalds. The coconut latte on soy was superb and had a rich taste.

Overall, whilst there were some stand out meals my whole experience was disappointing and I was not relaxed or comfortable in the cafe. I would save my money and dine elsewhere.

Amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unique menu and lots of great options for everyone. Would be awesome to book a table online as it's super busy on the weekend

Small portion sizes and long wait. They could benefit from utilising the space better and have more seating as the layout is very random. They had decent food but I payed $19 for a waffle cut into 4 tiny pieces and some berries on the side... at least make the presentation look like there is more food on the plate

The food here is completely on point! They know how to writ a creative, delicious menu. The fit out is creative, clean and comfortable and the staff seem attentive [maybe a few more smiles :)]. My only issue is that my two coffees [almond milk latte/long black] were both a little flavourless, maybe the coffee was running bad that day but the milk was steamed to perfection! Would go back again!

The food was nice and delivered in a timely manner. It was crowded and the owners seemed stressed and distant.

Food and coffee were brilliant. The fit out and aspect have the place feeling spacious and inviting. The service was friendly and had immaculate timing. We were the furthest table from the counter and didn't wait for water or to order when we could have easily been forgotten.
I had the cotechino with yoghurt, eggs and torn bread. My partner had the banana loaf. Both were perfectly portioned and beautifully presented.
Overall fantastic experience with menu options that are sought after relief from the standard cafe fare.

My chocolate cake was good but the chai latte was very disappointing

Best breakfast we ve had all year and best we had in a week of breakfasts around West End and South Brisbane. Cool decor. Great coffee.

These guys do the brunch thing well. Like a well oiled machine. The staff were friendly and chatty. Very good service and the coffee was great. Unfortunately, the menu offered a good range, but left us feeling unsatisfied for the price. Basic stuff like supplying bread with an egg would tie the dish together, and make it more reasonable.

the staffs are so kind and the food was tasty. wow! but actually, the coffee was not my style. It was sour to me.

The most awful dining experience I ve ever had. We waited over 1.5 hours for food, staff had attitude and there was HAIR and eggshell in 2 dishes. The meals were average & the cost was completely unreasonable. Definitely would not recommend.

I'll be honest. Didn't really expect it to be this good. My wife used to go every morning to MA for her coffee and loved this place. I was a bit skeptical. Would totally recommend it now after trying it. Staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. Food was great, looked good and yummy as. Coffee is good too even for a connoisseur like my wife. Me, I just get chai... So it's not really coffee lol. Give this place a go. Try it once and if you like it, go back and thank me later. Price wise is probs like many other cafes in the city. Around $20 for a breakfast, $5 for a coffee.

Great service and friendly staff even though it was a busy Sunday. Staff were very accommodating to my needs and had many alternate options for my food intolerances. Definitely worth the drive to be my regular cafe.

Very pleased with this cafe. Thr service was top notch. The Eggs Benedict was absolutely amazing. However, the bread was a bit too hard. The pineapple express was very refreshing and complimented the meal just perfectly. The cafe has a nice, cozy atmosphere. The only negative part is that parking is hard to find.

Very good breakfast- super hipster scene. Can be very busy but consistently great for a quick coffee.

The ambient was suitable for a hangout! Not so hustling as compared to other cafes. We didn't wait too long for the food to be served. We ordered a pappardelle carbonara and crispy pulled lamb shoulder, and they were both tasty!

Wow what can i say this was extreamly dissapointing. Was way overpriced, the portion sizes were tiny not enough to fill you up at all. And unfortunately it tasted like cardboard warmed up- very tasteless and uninspired , Idk how they think they can get away with this terrible quality let alone charge that much for the sizes they give. ONE OF THE WORST CAFES we have been to. DO NOT RECCOMEND UNLESS YOU LIKE THE TASTE OF PAPER/CARDBOARD. will not be returning. xo

Very special menu and good dish I had although it bit salty. The green vegi, sauced oats with poached eggs are nice and fresh for the morning. The coffee I had is soy flat white, awesome matching.

If you're not keen on paying $10 (i.e. 1/6th of your grocery bill) for a cold, stale croissant and an sub-par cappacino, served with customer service as warm as Jindabyne, then give morningafter a pass. Rather try the Bagel place next door, which has never faulted in the abovementioned.

Great local eatery for breakfast and lunch . Coffee is pretty good, proportions are nice, prices are reasonable and most importantly food is really good.

Good place for kids with very nice food. The coffee was alright, too fruity for my taste.

This is one of our go-to cafes if we are picking from around West End! They often have a wide variety of stuff although it s a bit hit or miss. Some of the stuff is just too out there if you know what I mean. Lately it s been a hit with their Turkish eggs and tropical chia pudding and not too long ago, they had an awesome eggplant breakfast dish. Prices are pretty sky-high though even for this trendy area. Nevertheless, never pass up an opportunity for some filter coffee here or a dirty butterbing aka a butterbing cookie with an affogato.

Morning After is always a solid feed. Food is tasty and fresh. I often come with my coeliac friend, who very much appreciates their care and attention to preparation and cross contamination, also the gluten free bread is amazing!
Im not usually a fan of 5 senses coffee but they make it well and it's consistent across their team of baristas. Service could be better and more consistent, but it's not terrible by any means. When they are busy staff appear flustered, confused and occasionally forgetful regarding orders.

Amazing selection of coffee and the food was exquisitely presented and delicious. Speedy friendly service and the place had a happy busy atmosphere.

really disappointed worst eggs benedict I've ever had. hollandaise is flavorless. the whole design is good but the restroom is not very convenient.

More people seemed to be photographing their food rather than eating it. Crazy people as the food was right up there with the best breakfast scran in B-Vegas. I'll be back.

Went there because there was always A huge line of customers waiting for table in front. What a disappointment! Do not order last position from breakfast menu - carbonara, it looked like someone literally threw up on a plate (I wish I took my phone with me to take a picture), on top of that egg whites was freaking raw and pasta overcooked. But ok waitress told us it supposed to be because egg is cooked this way and blah blah. I thought ok, my bad, had this dish taken away to the kitchen and ordered waffles (which I waited 40 mins for) which turned out ok. To my surprise I had to pay for the dish that I gave away! What kind of place charges customers for that? Ridiculous. Stay away.

Lovely design with simple decor and good feel. Was excited to try it out but left disappointed. Ordered a drink which was forgotten and there was only 1 other table in the restaurant. Then ordered a large takeaway coffee which was just over 1/2 full but paid for a large. Breakfast was pleasant but under seasoned and balance of flavours wasn t great. Nice place and good coffee but wouldn t be rushing back sadly.

I don't usually write reviews but I was truly disappointed with my brekkie today. I ordered the Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, kale bowl with a side of bacon. It was the most bland meal I've ever had. While it looked colourful and exciting on the menu, it was very underwhelming and tasteless. It reminded me of hospital food. The only thing i enjoyed was the side of bacon, which was very crispy yet a small serving for the price.
Not only was the dish flavourless, it was steaming hot and burnt my mouth (I now have a huge blister). I would highly recommend customers to avoid this dish and also for the cafe to remove it or to at least jazz it up. Even the pesto was tasteless.

Had a lovely breakfast at Morning After today, the service was impeccable and the menu choices were varied and inventive. The omelette wagyu burger special was impressive and we will definitely be back!

This place is overrated... I left very disappointed by the food. I had the truffle scrambled eggs and my partner had the breakfast bowl. Both plates were impeccably presented but incredibly bland. The kind of plates that look good on Instagram without delivering anything in terms of flavour.

The service was slow but considering how many people were there, I can live with that. The restaurant itself is fine as well. But in the end, if you don't deliver on the food then what's the point?

There's plenty of great breakfast spots in West End and Brisbane, I wouldn't waste my time here.

The food here is incredible, sophisticated and well priced for what you get. The single origin coffee today was buttery and full of flavour, for myself with soy milk, and for my wife who had almond milk. The coffee could have been a little hotter, but it was still a great experience none the less. The staff are well trained, friendly and efficient. We will definitely eat here again!

This place is an absolute JOKE! The food here is grossly overpriced for what you receive (a TINY amount of food that doesn't even taste any good). The owners are very rude and unprofessional towards patrons, I actually can't understand why these people open up a restaurant in the first place. So many better options on this street, don't waste your time + money at this place.

Very good presentation; something missing in so many modern hipster cafes intent on backyard furniture. Service is slow on the food but is exceptional, if a little pricey. Coffee is some of the best in West End - baristas are well trained and knowledgable in their beans and methods. Overall a great cafe to bring friends and family to.

Always drive pass here and got taken in by the name. I was not disappointed. Great coffee bend. And the Thai fusion food was innovative. I had the crad omelette, which I find lack of the dry shrimp being a papaya salad. But that's my Asian taste.

Booking is a bit old school you have to call to book have no online booking. Walk ins is out of pure luck and you may have to wait. But having said that food and coffee here is amazing. Very friendly staff. Beautiful decor highly recommend

Used to be my fav. Today I came in just finished my meal and got kicked out by the staff saying we have other bookings. Should have been told before we sat down. That s so unprofessional and disappointing. Also my hot chocolate was cold easily as well

Great food, good coffee and attentive staff members. However, I feel that the long table in the middle should we replaced with individual tables. The small chairs are uncomfortable and I don t really want to be touching my elbows with people I don t know during the breakfast!

Ordered the chilli scrambled eggs which is new on the menu but pretty tasty. You must love chilli to order this. Great ambiance & excellent service.
