Phenomenal Thai restaurant in a very nice location. Prices are higher than your average Thai restaurant, though not by too much. Food is always perfect, views of foreshore are dynamic and interesting. Plenty of options within walking distance for drinks and desserts after your meal.
More like 3.5, excellent place in kingston, the food is tasty but minimal and a little bit up-priced for what you get
Great food & friendly, attentive service.
The bbq pork buns ($8ea) are not your regular pork bun here. They are an open style with the fluffy bun as a wrap with a small (but satisfying) cut of pork belly, delicious bbq sauce & fresh herbs.
The 6 angel prawns for $25 (you can order them in 6, 8, 10, 12 or more) came out in an over-the-top hotplate but the flavour of the sauce & freshness of the prawns did not disappoint.
The $22 Bhuddas green curry (vegetarian) was suprisingly very good but would've been better with some good chunks of juicy chicken pieces... unless you're a vegan, then this dish is a winner.
Traditional fried rice ($15) is great. Fresh ingredients throughout.
The main problem with this place is its ridiculous corkage price of $16!
I was here just after 6pm with plenty of available tables & it had a nice and quiet ambience to it but by 6.45pm it was full & very loud.
Other than that, a fantastic restaurant.
Food is beautiful. A wonderful Thai fusion with a modern twist. The food is full of flavour and authentic.
You got to try the eggplant dish, best eggplant dish ever had. Great service...
Really enjoyed the food and the service. Looking forward to going back. Lovely wine matched by delicate, well crafted food A++
Delicious and interesting food delivered with excellent service. The vegan/vegetarian options were fabulous with my top vote going to delectable crispy eggplant on a pillowy bun for entree!
You get what you pay for here - the food here is so flavoursome and totally delicious. Service was mostly good but there was a bit of a wait on the drinks. The Lamb Mussaman was a standout.
Best Thai restaurant in Kingston, I think. Expensive but worth the money.
The food was alright. I think they have overdone the garnish as it felt like a coriander plus mint salad in every dish.
The soft shell crab was good and very crunchy. The eggplant was also very crispy and tasted good. The 12 hour beef short rib is really good though and flavours blend. The fried rice was nothing special.
Service was top and felt accommodated instantly.
Pretty bad, it s claustrophobic inside. The duck dish had too much parsley and smelled like vomit, so did the beef rib dish. Portions were tiny and it was super expensive, got up not feeling full. Avoid this place at all costs.
This is the second time we've been to this restaurant and they have really stepped, and totally deserve their chef's hat. Elected not to go with the tasting menu as we wanted to try out the 12 hour beef, and that was worth ever dollar we paid for it. Other dishes: BBQ pork bun, Soft shell crab, Fried tofu were also excellent appetisers and entrees leading to the main course. Overall rating: 4.7 stars.
Always high class food and high class service, always very quick with their me. Highly recommend visiting
The best Thai in Canberra easily! Would go back time and time again
I could not stop raving about this restaurant on the way home with my partner.
The best part of my experience was the service. I've never experienced this type of customer service and attentiveness at any restaurant in Australia before.
Flavours were amazing and everything was cooked perfectly.
Would definitely return.
Delicious food. Fantastic service and atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Very accommodating of dietary needs.
Delicious food! Banquet option is absolute must for groups! You will not regret !
The food is a little spicy but very delicious!
Edit- came back here for a second time!
The entrees were a little pricey, and okay but the fried icecream, lamb Curry & the beef short rib were amazing! Must try!
Great food! A little loud but the food more than makes up for it.
The food and service was excellent. Unfortunately the noise level was unbearable and it made conversation next to impossible for me. If they removed some of the hard surfaces and put in some baffles they would get 5 stars.
Some of the best food I had tonight. Their wagyu and duck larb was superb. Their soft shell crab appetiser was to die for, I just wish there was more.
Great food paired with amazing, friendly service. Ben is a wonderful host, noticing we were buried talking shop and hadn't properly looked at the menu he suggested "... How about I just bring some food out to you so you can continue doing your business?" Fantastic! The sweet potato dumplings entree was just the first of 5-6 courses for our party. Each dish more delicious than the last. Can't wait to go again! Do yourself a favour and head to Morks!
Ridiculously tasty food and super friendly service.
Will definitely be back for more!
The most amazing ribs and project buns, and everything else is also delicious!
Some of the best food I've ever had. The staff is great, lovely atmosphere, and definitely worth the price.
We ordered the banquet and every dish we had was amazing. Great service, little bit noisey and close to other dinners, but overall superb, we shall be returning!
Terribly overpriced for underwhelming food. Restaurant very loud and service a bit over the top. Meh
Had the $55 banquet and it had all their best dishes (I thought) and will definitely be back. A lot of food and variety and wonderful service
Amazing
Banquet is awesome
Reasonable price
Mussuman (if that's how its spelt)
Curry is the best I've ever had
Awesome service
Great food !! Try the standard banquet, good sample of variety of dishes.
Not going back (despite OK food). MSG hangover from hell!
