Received my bill from MBB and called, spoke to a very polite lady who helped me settle my bill very fairly and I was moved to tears for the generous adjustment. I lost my old job during Hurrican Michael, left my new job to care for my father who passed, and have struggled to make ends meet for over a year
I was hospitalized in 2016 and my tests were sent here for reading. At the time I was on my father's insurance as I was under 26. In December 2020 I was hospitalized and my tests were sent here for reading. While they could bother to reach out to the hospital to verify that I had a new address, they went ahead and tried to bill an insurance that was over 4 1/2 years old. I am no longer on that insurance.
Because of this issue, my father's insurance has sent him an EOB with details about the procedure and tests I had done. This was not knowledge I wished to share with my father, as I am a grown adult with my own life and insurance (which I gave them on the phone ages ago to clear up the bill, not knowing they had already tried to bill an outdated insurance plan).
This is a massive violation of privacy. The hospital that the tests were done at had my information and they clearly reached out for an address to send a bill to. I even have a different last name since using them in 2016. So why could they not have spent two minutes double checking the information on file before billing?
SCAM!!! WOULD GIVE THEM NO STARS DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS TO THIS COMPANY. I paid in FULL and then had them submit to my insurance since they FAILED to do it in the first place. Ive called them 8 times since then and they will not do anything to submit to insurance! They keep telling me its under review and a supervisor will call me but only received one call but no call back number and no response to my issue. They hang-up on you when you request a supervisor when you call in. Im filing claim with BBB. AGAIN THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!
Ashley Moore, did you ever resolve this issue?? I m having the same exact problem never even heard of this place and I have 5 high bills over 1,000 each and the last one just a week ago for 90. Not really sure what to do to get this issue fixed and off my credit but I m trying to fix my credit and move forward in life not to be charged for some bs scams to make things just that much harder!!!! Please if you have resolved your issue let me know atleast what steps I need to take to resolve mine!!! If not good luck and hope you figure it out!!! If anyone has any helpful info please post back! Mori, Bean and whoever the other B is, is an unscrupulous business. I have no idea when I utilized their services outside of my hospitalization. All I know is that I received an alert on my credit report notifying me of a collection being reported. Keep in mind that I have not heard from them or received anything in the mail prior. I will be writing Elizabeth Warren a letter. This will definitely be the next mantle she takes up. My insurance company has already paid. That should be enough. No they instead decide to put some garbage on my credit report. I will be filing a complaint with every regulatory agency and the Better Business Bureau. That should not have been the first time I found out about an outstanding bill.
Insurance fraud
This company billed me told me it was tan through insurance then find our insurance was not ran and they refuse to give me my $1144 back that I paid them plus my insurance company was paid already too but they say they have no record of that
I have never been here and I'm getting a bill from them through cmre financial services, Inc. I have never gotten anything from this place. Y'all really think sending a bill to an 19 year old is funny? When he's using all of his money to pay bills for his grandmother and trying to go to school. Screw this place. Stop sending me bills or I'll sue.
Was never notified of outstanding bills from this place I ve never even heard of. Checked my credit today, I have 4 high impact accounts in collections from the time I was 7 months pregnant with my son. I was covered by Medicaid at the time. I m still covered by Medicaid, and it has not lapsed. This is fraudulent. And judging by the reviews, I m not the only one dealing with this bogus sh**.
I was disabled and on Medicaid at the time I had my Imaging Services done through them. They were eager to schedule my appointment and perform the imaging ordered by my doctor. I TOLD THEM REPEATEDLY THAT I HAVE MEDICAID AND ASKED THEM TO PLEASE GIVE ME ASSURANCE THAT THE IMAGING WOULD BE COVERED, PRIOR TO RENDERING THE SERVICE. THEY ASSURED ME EVERYTHING WAS FINE! ALMOST A YEAR LATER, I RECEIVE A BILL FROM A COLLECTIONS AGENCY IN CALIFORNIA FOR $200. TOTALLY UNSCRUPULOUS ENTITY PREYING ON DISABLED INDIVIDUALS. I CHECKED WITH MY MEDICAID INSURANCE AND THEY TOLD ME IT IS ILLEGAL FOR A MEDICAL PROVIDER TO SEND THE DISPUTED CLAIMS OF MEDICAID PATIENTS TO COLLECTIONS!
It s really hard to pay a bill when you never receive it. The debt collector somehow has all the correct contact information and address but I was never contacted once. The first i hear of it was when I get a call from collections. I m trying to buy a house and it s unreal that this company is screwing up my credit over $50 that i was never notified about.
