We had the sorry disappointment of showing up on a summer Saturday, after driving 2 hours, to find the mine "Closed for the Season." What, pray tell, is the season for sluicing rocks? Winter? At the very least, the website should have included operating dates.

Mine has been closed for 3 years or so. They need to update this so people stop driving hours to get here
This business has permanently closed. While the mine may be operational under another name, the attraction is no longer there.
Only good for kids. Most stuff is brought from other areas and all you do is dig through a pile of dirt with a bunch of others. Boring. Also never open
