Fav place to hang out on sunday arvo and listen to the rock and roll bands

Decent food and 'alright' service. I feel like I fell in to the 90s. Your typical 'we make all our money from gamblers' type bistro food. I can't give more than 2 stars for the obnoxious lady that came around interrupting dinner time to sell raffle tickets, and then spent 20 minutes yelling in to a microphone trying to read out numbers. My favourite line was "I k ow you lot in the TAB can't hear me, so I'll SAY IT SGAIN LOUDER!"

Meal not value for money $27 one tiny fish fillet, heaps of chips and a token salad

Had lunch here for the first time today. Food was really good.

Lovely location. Expensive drinks $3.90 for a coke especially for a club! Tired decor.

Staff are friendly, prices are good and there's a great view from level one. Live bands on the weekend, good food, fund times. Generally an older crowd (40+) but still a favourite of mine

Fantastic!! Customer service was second to none, special mention to Helen who went above and beyond to cater to our needs. The meals were fantastic, best we have had in a long time, absolutely delicious! Reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back!

Soon to be apartments. Has a lot of rooms named after blokes. Awful Awful food. Pokies - regrettably returning welfare cheques to the government. Nice view.

I hold regular events and meetings at the Mordialloc Sporting club, the service is outstanding. Often we finish the meeting with lunch, the service at the food locations has been fantastic. I keep holding my meetings at this venue. The staff are A1

My husband and I were guests at a recent sit down meal celebration for my sister's 40th Birthday in one of the upstairs function rooms. From the moment the courtesy bus picked us up from our home to the moment it dropped us back our experience with the staff and venue was fantastic. The function staff were flexible and extremely helpful with planning and set-up on the day. The staff working on the night were efficient and friendly. Meals were served piping hot and in generous serving sizes. I would highly recommend the Mordialloc Sporting Club as a venue for your next celebration.

The best thing about HQ, is 'The Right Brothers' play there once a month on a Friday night

Hi, last night was my second time at your venue. I live 1 1/2 hours away but it was worth the travel. The band Bluedog Cruiser were AMAZING! I definitely want to see them again and would happily travel alllll that distance!

What an amazing view... Sitting on the deck, with a cold glass of wine on a Sunday afternoon is perfect. Add to that a little food, which was divine, makes for a relaxing day out. Highly recommend.

Really friendly community club and they have recently had the staff do a barista course, so the coffee is excellent!

Unless you're one of the crusty stains that have been frequenting the place for the the last 40 years this place doesn't offer much that you can't get elsewhere

Not a bad after work spot, limited beer on tap lowers the score. Carlton draught, Vic bitter and Great northern....

Great place for the over 40's on Saturday night and Sunday arvo for live music.

Worst experience of my life. Stopped serving food an hour before the kitchen was supposed to close. Then refused to serve me coffee because the self serve was open. Not against making my own coffee but in terms of service it was appauling!

I have been to the Mordialloc HQ several times & was there on Saturday night. Food is excellent, service good staff friendly & helpful. They have a band on a Saturday night upstairs. Fabulous view of the bay from the balcony too. Excellent place for any function or large party. Well worth a visit. I will be visiting again.

A very pleasant experience, the Stanton Room has Magic view of Port Phillip bay, and it's own bar facility.
The food was served as Entre`and Main in alternate placing, we all thought this was
going to be a problem, but No, the food was good and well presented. Both sizes and serves were very generous. Staff service and attention was excellent and prompt. There was plenty room and time for Presentations, A must visit.

Always something to do and always something happening

After having dinner there tonight I ll never return.
I ordered beef and chicken fried rice, it was a bowl of soggy extremely over cooked rice, not wanting to cause a fuss and return the dish ( which in places like this is a no no) I persisted and ate what I could tolerate, obviously there isn t a qualified chef on site, the manager on tonight isn t much better, a complete waste of time and money, avoid at all costs

Dont play gaming machines.worst, greediest machines i have ever played. Hundreds of dollars put in NOT A CENT BACK!!! should be ashamed of themselves!

As usual we enjoyed ourselves at this venue. Can't same the same for the dress code on a number of the males in the gaming room. Very scruffy and clothes dirty. Surely there should be a standard of dress for this venue.

It was a great on fri and sat but now Fri DJ and not very good bands on Sat but sunday afternoon still great.

Loved the food especially the Nachos which was very satisfying.

Top music venue with fine food. Awesome Bay Views. Modern quality contemporary bands upstairs, accoustic acts below. Plenty of rock fans born in 1950's like me and younger.
Friendly comfortable and safe environment. I recommend highly for mature music fans wanting a good night out.

The atmosphere of the venue is fantastic and the nachos that I ordered from here were very yummy. So was the Jack Daniels that I ordered too. The staff are extremely friendly and polite too

Lovely great locals and band but that is all. Staff and security clearly have issues with non locals that attends the venue. Refusing entry to anyone that isn't a local and letting the drunken locals stay. We were appatently a "large group of 6" and wernt allowed to stay due to being upstairs. But the group of drunken 5 were granted access that had been there the whole night upstairs. The one and only nice security guy working that night clearly saw we were only there to have a good time and tried to get us in past his happy meal fat colleague and racist night staff. Unfortunately our 40th Bday celebrations were cut short. Last time I'll step foot in here again.

The deals aren't worth the price. Along with that, it took too long to get food some people got their food earlier than others.

The service is fine, but not with one man in particular who seems to be ahead of the kitchen, Theo I think.

He was rude to us and aggressive, he even made a woman on the same night cry because she wanted a refund.

Good variety of food @ good prices. Very well prepared and delicious. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Not the friendly crew in hotels. Food is great ! vp.

Seated and ordered before two groups of people. They got their orders before ours. No apologies. Not impressed.
