We adopted a beautiful black and white Australian ...

We adopted a beautiful black and white Australian Labradoodle from River x Oscars litter in the fall of 2019. Liz, has the sweetest calmest disposition ever. She is just a joy to have in our family. We live in Idaho and she seems to love the snow! She catches on quickly to everything we ve been teaching her. She is very human like and wants to be a part of everything we do. We loved working with Dana and everyone at Moonlit Acres so much that, we just went back and got a second puppy from Dana but this time we got a Golden Retriever. My wife has wanted a Golden Retriever for years. So, glad we found exactly what she was looking for. Hannah is super smart and calm and even though she is now double the size of Liz they are best buds. Our babies get along wonderfully and have both been such a great addition to our family.

Moonlit Acres was great to work with and provided tons of information for us to review prior to puppy pick up day which we found extremely helpful, especially when driving 9 hours to get to Vancouver. They were really good about posting photos weekly too. Some places we looked at only posted a few photos throughout the 8 weeks. They did a great job of sharing the love! It really helped us to feel like we knew who the puppies were before we ever got to get our hands on them.

We were skeptical about the food she recommended. But after seeing how strong and healthy both of the girls are that we adopted from them, we are glad they've taken the time to research the best possible nutrition for their dogs. Our vet has comment numerous times about both of our girls and their bone development and lush coats. He believes it is a direct reflection of the food they are eating.

Moonlit Acres ROCKS! And they LOVE their babies! Oh and they have grandkids that LOVE these babies. The girls were so well socialized! It made integration into our home with our child super easy!

If you want a doddle buy a Portuguese water dog as they're actually health tested and have a solid temperament if you get one for a good breeder. If you want a golden buy from somewhere else as well. These people run a fancy puppy mill and are back yard breeders at the end of the day. They don't show their dogs, they don't temperament test or health test any of their dogs either. Goldens have a host of health issues that can be curbed through careful breeding and health testing parents prior to mating. These people just want to make money though, so good luck if you don't care about getting a sickly puppy.

We LOVE our Moonlit Acres baby. We adopted an Australian Labradoodle from Dana in Fall of 2019. We were so nervous about the puppy selection process. Puppy pick up day was nothing less than amazing! It was so nice meeting the other families that were adopting puppies from the same litter. The puppies were all so happy and curious and just fluffy! We are looking forward to obedience classes that start this weekend. Can t wait to see the other puppies and their families from this litter at the classes.

Dana has a living room full of toys and everything you need to have in order to take a puppy home. They have a stuffed animal toy that has a heartbeat. Total game changer. Dana has the mama dogs snuggle with the stuffed animal and we turned the heartbeat on at night when our puppy was kenneled for night. There was a little whining for the first few minutes but that was it. Our baby settled right in and slept from 11 PM 4 am on the first night! Potty training our puppy was the easiest ever. We got the potty bells from them and they worked like a charm! Even on the day of puppy pick up the puppies were using these crates with potty pads that were set out around the room.

We love our Moonlit Acres baby and they were great to work with. They provided so much information on their private family webpage. I feel like I can text or call Dana if I ever have a question. We tell everyone who asks, where we got our puppy, to talk to Moonlit Acres. They have the best puppies!

Dana of Moonlit Acres is absolutely amazing! We brought our puppy home in June and couldn't be happier! Dana is very attentive and knowledgeable of her Goldens. She takes great pride in her babies and it truly shows! We are planning on bringing home another puppy next year! I wouldn't choose another breeder!

We just got our sweet puppy on Saturday from Dana at Moonlit Acres. She was a pleasure to work with. Super responsive, kind, answered all questions and really shows how much she loves the dogs and puppies. She's honest and thorough. I felt comfortable with the process and appreciated the time she took to always respond via text or email. Our puppy is not only adorable but has the sweetest temperament and is smart and gentle. Even the vet was in love when she first met her and said she made her morning! I highly recommend Moonlit Acres/Dana!!

A year ago January, my husband and began to think about getting a puppy. After looking around, I contacted Dana at Moonlit Acres. She graciously allowed us to visit, just to meet an adult dog and see her breeding program. The minute I met Ruby I was in love. She was a week from giving birth and was the sweetest dog I'd ever meet. Over the next months we had some important traveling, but decided in June to put our application in for a pup. Because Moonlit Acres has such amazing dogs and healthy puppies, we were on a waiting list, but in September the litter was born that we could pick from.

I admire the thought, diligence, care and yes love that Dana's puts into her breeding program. I'm thrilled that these tiny babies are so loved by her grandkids. Because they are acclimated to children, to being held and to being outside as soon as they can, they are friendly, well adjusted and strong puppies when they go home with their new families. Our Violet was so easy to house train, so easy to bond with and so smart learning sounds, smells and new experiences daily and has never been fearful. Dana's puppies are all chipped and thoroughly cleared medically before they leave her care. She's meticulous in knowing that these wonderful pups go to families that will not only love them, but will be responsible puppy parents going forward.

Our lives changed so much for the better when our Violet came to live with us. She never cried at night, adapted to our lives quickly and I think loves us as much as we love her. It's a commitment, but it's a commitment that I'm so glad we've made. Thank you Dana and Moonlit Acres.

Dana Logan is a phenomenal breeder who is passionate about English Goldens. She is clearly focused on avoiding in-breeding with this breed. Moonlit Acres is a wonderful place for these dogs to be bred. Due to Dana's efforts we have, Abby, the nicest and most beautiful dog I have ever seen!

Etta is my first Moonlit Acres golden, and the experience with Dana has been great. She's very thorough and she clearly loves all her babies. Etta is 6 months old and has presented a couple of health challenges (a mysterious allergic reaction and a UTI), and Dana was right there with information and recommendations, very concerned and helpful. Etta's vets love her, she's in excellent condition and her behavior is so sweet. We bonded immediately and she's clearly been a happy and secure/confident dog from the very beginning. Thank you, Dana, for your dedication, knowledge, and pure love for these beautiful, healthy goldens.

Moonlit acres is the place to go if you re looking...

Moonlit acres is the place to go if you re looking to add a puppy to your family. We got our first puppy from Dana in April of 2020. I could tell from the first time I met her in person that not only did she know what she was doing but she loved what she did and that to me, is what the best breeder is made of. I have never had any issues with getting ahold of her and if she doesn t have the answer to my question, she doesn t stop until she finds one for me. I have full confidence in her knowledge of this breed. Our Daisy is 8 months old this month. Her temperament is playful and sweet. If we are out in the yard, she keeps up with our kids and has a clear zest for life. When it s time to wind down and come inside, she is right there by you on the couch. We couldn t be more thankful to have Daisy in our family. We just signed up for her guardian family program because one of her puppies isn t enough... I give Dana, her husband and all of the Moonlit Acres staff a 5 stars rating. I have never not been met with kindness when I come to her home. I could go on and on. When it s time for you to find a puppy, please reach out to Dana and see for yourself. You won t be sorry.

Six months after our 10 year old golden retriever,...

Six months after our 10 year old golden retriever, Chester, passed away we searched for a local breeder and found Dana at Moonlit Acres. Wow, we have learned so much about retrievers over the past few months.
My husband and I are guardian parents of a female puppy, Cali, who is a Moonlit Acres puppy. Cali has the sweetest disposition and has the softest coat. She has become such an integral part of our family now.
Dana takes pride and concern for all of her dogs and puppies and is always ready to respond to concerns and questions. It's wonderful to be a part of this new "family". I'm glad we did our homework and found the best breeder in the area!

We had a great experience when we purchased our golden retriever from Dana at Moonlitacres. Kenzie was 8 weeks old when we got her and she was almost potty trained. She had been handled and worked with so she was confident and calm. She is intelligent and gorgeous. We chose Moonlitacres because Dana was honest and upfront about the test status results of her dogs, which I did not see in the other breeder websites. She works to better the breed. I love golden retrievers and have had several that had long and happy lives. Kenzie has the best disposition and has been the easiest to train.

Dana Logan is probably the best breeder that we have ever dealt with. She was so very helpful in our first conversation and answered every email, and I had a lot. Every detail was handled professionally and helpfully. All ducks were in a row and when we went to pick our little girl everything was great. It was our best day in a long time. Dana had all information for us in regards to food, chipping, grooming, and training. We brought home a little girl, Phoebe Jean, and life has been a complete joy. Puppies are a lot of work but so worth it. The Doodles from Moonlit Acres are beautiful, soft and silky, with a lovely disposition. This is a great place to find your perfect Australian Labradoodle.
Dana knows her dogs.

Dana at Moonlit Acres has been a joy to work with....

Dana at Moonlit Acres has been a joy to work with. We have a male from Dana who is the perfect addition to our family. We took our time talking to multiple breeders in WA but went with Dana due to her obvious care and concern for her puppies. She asked questions other breeders did not which made me feel she really cared who her puppies went to. After our litter was born, Dana kept us up to date with pictures and posts about the growing puppies on her facebook page. She sent us tons of great information to make sure we were prepared for bringing our boy home. Did I mention she goes the extra mile to work on potty training with her pups!! Charlie was 95% potty trained when he came home!! After bringing our boy home, Dana has stayed in contact with us. She has taken the time on multiple occasions to talk with me on the phone and offer guidance with food, vitamins, finding the right vet for us and just checking on our boy. People stop us to comment on how gorgeous our boy is every time we are out with him. I recommend Moonlit Acres to anyone looking to add a beautiful, family friendly puppy to their family!

Working with Moonlit Acres was an absolute pleasure. As a family, we researched breeders and happened upon Dana and her beautiful dogs. Walking in the door to meet our litter, it was obvious how much Dana cared about the dogs. She treats them like family. Our pup is almost a year old now, and we are absolutely in love. Thank you Moonlit Acres for the addition to the family, and thank you Dana for making this such an amazing experience!

We purchased a new puppy from Moonlit Acres in November, 2019. We had a great experience from the very beginning. Dana was willing to work with us and kept us informed regarding expected litters. We were looking for a particular size, color, and sex. We got just what we were hoping for and just love our new member of our family. We couldn't be happier with our entire experience. It is very clear that the entire family enjoys breeding dogs and raising puppies.

Recently adopted Tito from Dana and Moonlight Acres, and could not be happier. Tito is 10 weeks old, crate trained, sleeps through out the night, and is almost house broken. He has a beautiful personality and loves everyone. We have taken him to a nursing home several times and he is wonderful with older people. Our goal is to get him registered as a service dog based on his amazing temperament and personality.Dana was great to work with and the adoption party letting the puppy select us was fantastic and we were able to let Tito select us, as well as us selecting him. I am surprised with a couple of the recent negative reviews, In our opinion Dana is a very loving and knowledgeable dog breeder. I would highly recommend Dana and her Australian doodles to anyone looking for that perfect puppy. Thanks Dana !!

Moonlit Acres dogs are amazing, they are beautiful to look at and they have great personalities. What I loved most about this breeder is that they focus on healthy dogs. Healthy dogs without genetic issues that also happen to be beautiful, handsome and well socialized. Dana has great communication with the adopting families including take packets to ensure the puppies have the appropriate food, vitamins and care. I love my Moonlit Acres dog. He is such a good dog and has been from the moment we first saw him.

PLEASE READ...DISHONEST AND UNETHICAL! We put a deposit for brown Labradoodle. We were waiting for a Chocolate Brown Puppy. Dana said she is unsure if she will sell a brown one, because she will keep it for herself. A couple months go by Dana called and said she will sell the brown one. However, she gave us an ultimatum that we had to an hour to make a decision and if we decide to move forward the puppy has to be picked up within one day in a very pushy manner (we thought that was strange). This was in the middle of a work week and she knew we lived 3 hours away. We agreed to come a day later since we had to juggle our schedule around. Once we headed down we called to make sure it was ok to come early. She said " no problem. She set expectations that she will be there herself to go over all the details and for us to plan on spending an hour going over everything during the delivery process. When we arrived Dana was not home. Instead, An employee who handles the cleaning of the puppy s and dogs was delivering the puppy. The employee was inexperienced and under qualified. She tried to rush us out could not answer any questions or give us any instructions how to deal with the puppy. She was asking for the money before we had a chance to meet or play with the puppy. When we asked to see the puppy, she walked us over to the kitchen where the 8 week old puppy was tied to the kitchen island cabinet handle. Further, we requested to meet the parents and she declined. The entire process occurred in the kitchen around the island with employees and other dogs running around, instead of a separate greeting/play area. In my opinion, The place felt and looked like a puppy mill. To change the food brand for the puppy or dogs takes 7 days to convert to a deferent food brand, Dana was sending us with puppy home with out event a small bag of food. This is show she trying to make money as mach as possible. A lot of breeders for same price you get complete supplies of everything for beginning including the crate and neutering.

Regarding the medical and behavioral issues; Dana had knowledge that the puppy had uncontrollable behaviors and medical issues. This is probably the reason she decided to sell it instead of keeping it. Due to the fact I expressed my frustrations several times to her she offered to take the puppy back. However I've already grown attached to her and spent $2000 on medical and other associated expenses, which was not going to be reimbursed to me. In the end, my recommendation is take your $3000 and find a more professional breeder who cares about the animals first and money second.

We love our puppy so much that I am trying to convince my husband to let me put our name on the waitlist for another one next summer! Dana responds quickly and with detail to emails. Our puppy came trained to understand the commands sit and here at only 8 weeks of age. Additionally, it was clear that both potty and crate training had been introduced. Our puppy is very well adjusted to sights and sounds in and around the home since he was brought up in a home environment at Moonlit Acres. He responds well to people of all ages. He is very tolerant of touch to his paws, tail and mouth due to the early stimulation program used by Moonlit Acres. We highly recommend Dana and Moonlit Acres as an excellent place to get a puppy
