Had an extended family visit here on Mother's day. Wasn't really busy. Quite a few different animals to see. The cafe had a fair variety to choose from. Staff are great and clearly committed to their work. Have visited before and would go again. Entry fees are reasonable.

Love this place. Very affordable, can bring your own meals/picnic or purchase from their Cafe. Child friendly. I bought an annual pass as you get free entry and discounted gift shop purchases. I am relatively.local so it's just a nice place to be when the sun is shining.

Sometimes that wildlife are sleepy so you might not get much engagement, other times you'll have the kangaroos lining up to eat from your hand. The dingos are friendly and beautiful as is my favourite "Charlie" the tawny frog mouth.

It's very interactive and if you're lucky, you my pet a snake!

The sanctuary is fabulous! State of the art enclosures blend into the bushland so well, when you're on the wallaby walk, of it wasn't for the road sounds from outside you'd honestly think you were on a bushwalk!
The staff are all friendly and happy to share info about their charges.
The cafe and gift shops are not overpriced and the coffee is good.

Been here twice now and the staff are just so lovely and friendly. The kids loved the kangaroos, definitely best to go in the morning and the kangaroos and wallabies come jumping straight up to you! It's very quiet here today, a cold Friday morning so we just about have the whole place to ourselves! Will keep coming here lots! Love it! Highly recommend!!

It is a relatively small sanctuary area.

It is a relatively small sanctuary area.
It is superior to other zoos in terms of the friendliness of the kangaroos and wallabies.
Be sure to buy kangaroo food! Here is a great place for small children to experience feeding the animals.

The staff is very friendly.
And, after the park closed, we waited for a cab for a long time, and one of the staff took us to the Frankston station.
I will never forget his kindness.

Where do I begin? An incredible experience for my partner and I yesterday - the entire day was perfect, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, the animals are so well taken care of - you can feel the love from a mile away. We were fortunate enough to book some encounters ahead of time, and the knowledgeable team made it a great experience. This is an absolute MUST, we walked away from this experience with some really great memories and we were so quick to recommend it to our families and friends. If you want to support a wonderful team and wonderful conservation work - VISIT ASAP!

If however, you would like to have a laugh - please look at the reviews of anything below 5 star - it's incredibly disappointing to see that such a wonderful attraction has received poor reviews from insane, ENTITLED and CRUEL people who are clearly selfish, bored, psychotic or just plain rude.

Keep doing you Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Park - we can't wait to be back! 10 STARS!

Night Tour - Have been during the day a few weeks ago so thought we'd try the night tour (2 adults and 2 older teens). I was a bit dubious about how this would be any different and was the extra cost justified. I couldn't have been more wrong.

The night tour is both an exceptional experience and value for money. You are in a small group of up to 12 people and everyone is given animal food. The guide gives you a very informative tour across all sections of the park and you get to enter some restricted areas to get up close and personal with some of the animals.

Most of the animals are much more active during dusk and evening, and the wallabies and kangaroos will seek you out for food.

The tour took almost 2hrs.

Moonlit Sanctuary is on the 'must visit' list , for all our friends!
