Monterey Sheraton Hotel Review

The lobby was under construction, but the check in process was fine. They had me listed for a king bed since I used my points to book the room, but i was going with my mother, so I request and received a two double bed room. The pool, hot tube, and gym looked nice but I haven't had the opportunity to use them. The room is nice and clean. We were on floor 7 which has a sliding doors to a very small balcony. The vanity had a make up mirror and a sink outside of the restroom. We also had a refrigerator in our room which we made use of.

Air conditioning did not work very well. Beds seemed extra small. Besides that it was fine.

This place was amazing!!! The service was friendly , food was phenomenal! I ordered the oxtail....they gave me too much! That never happens lol - they gave very generous portions with great flavor!!! Highly recommend!

Except the front desk the staff were fairly impersonal. Breakfast would have been ok but was obviously not being changed out so mostly stale. Construction noise during the day can be annoying currently. Good location, very central. Overall a decent value but not an aspirational hotel.
