The room in this hotel was a disappointment. Smoke detector was missing, bare wires hanging from the ceiling. Standing lamp switch missing, had to plug and unplug the lamp directly into the wall socket. The rubber seal under the door was partially ripped, walls banged up and gouged. Not sure how they allocate towels, I booked a room for two, it had three bath towels, one hand towel, and one face cloth. For $280 a night, never again. Look elsewhere.

I will never go here to stay on a show. The young man at the box office was rude, unhelpful, condescending. I have work in the guest services industry most of my life, I can tell when someone doesn't want to help guest. If someone has a bad attitude please quit you job don't ruin your guest special events. Montbleu I well never spend any money in your hotel and I will let friends and family know of your disregard of your guest

They will not clean your room even if you request it. You have to call the front desk for everything you need, new towels, more soap, someone to pick up your trash. It's very unpleasant. The outlets by the beds don't work and the "queen" beds are suspiciously small.

My Canadian friend and I decided to try our luck here. As always we sign up for the players card to get free spins or matching cash, well he goes first and gives them his Canadian license and they said he needed his passport!!!! Every other Casino has taken his Canadian Drivers license without a passport, so I step up and hand her my RI drivers license, and yes you guessed it, SHE ASKED IF I HAD MY PASSPORT!!! my reply "Where the hell are you from? You seriously dont know that Rhode Island is a state in the USA?" She just looked at me and left the window with my I.D. and came back with the manager who said to me, she had to verify with me that this was a valid I.D. because we dont get people from RI here.. I told her to give me back my license and nice try covering up that her employee had no clue that RI was a state...

We attended a concert at the Montblue. The venue is nice and we enjoyed ourselves. We decided to stay in the hotel for convenience. It's expensive but thought it would be easier. To my surprise, hotel staff was very unfriendly. This included the receptionist and the cleaning crews. We asked for an extra bath towel and it took three calls to the front desk to receive it. The room was not dirty but it was not well kept either. I would expect these conditions of a two star hotel, not one at over four hundred dollars for the night (4th of July weekend). Parking was convenience and free. The restaurant we ate in in side the hotel was nice and that staff was much more personable. In fact, the waiter was very good. Overall, I gave a three star rating however I am not pleased with the unfriendly staff or the partially cleaned room.

Good value, but you have to ask for a refund on the resort fee, as the pool is closed for maintenance. Also sucks that there are cardboard cups in the rooms now, instead of ceramic. Certainly didn't make us want to order a bottle of wine.

I booked this hotel through the promotional email sent to me for $59 it was a Tuesday after tax I usually pay a little over $60 . They actually charged me , $147 I have no idea why , maybe because my husband didn t check out at the front desk and didn t get the receipt. I called about this issue , spoke with 3 people and one one was helpful and didn t want to resolve the issue not even Perry the manager . In addition Ive booked under this promotional offer many times ... they just didn t honor the rate for no good reason . We were really upset , because we could of stayed in another hotel for $60 .

First time staying here and it was horrible. Our first room had dry blood on the sheets and when we called to get new sheets the staff was really rude so we ended up changing rooms at 11 at night and then in our new room there was blood again and stains on the mattress. There was no fridge in any of our rooms and our first room was supposed to be a lake view room and wasn't. Then we were supposed to have a $30 credit for food but ended up having to pay for the food when we checked out. This is a crappy hotel for being in tahoe!! We will not be staying here again

In short, this place is like a pretty woman you think you will spend the rest of your life with. Then... you find out pretty all she's got going for her.

We stayed her on August 25th granted this was the weekend of a big fight in Vegas so it probably increased the price a bit. My pregnant (8 months) wife an I entered the lobby around 9 PM, following a wedding. We waited in line, behind FOUR people, for 20 minutes to check-in. Evidently the guy at the counter with "Assistant hotel manager," on his name tag, didn't know how to call for help, and felt he had to have a 5 minute conversation with everyone. Finally we got checked in and into our room on the third floor, (which must be something like the lowest deck on the Titanic).

My wife was starving. (On our way to the hotel, we stopped and grabbed a salad and microwaveable snack.) We got to our room only to find there was no microwave! (An amenity even your run of the mill Motel One would have). So, we can't heat up the frozen snack, well just keep it in the fridge.... Nope, didn't have one of those either. When a pregnant woman is hungry, you try to feed her. I searched the hall for a microwave, then made several attempts to call the Front Desk, Hotel Manager, Hotel Operator and Bell Desk to see if there was any microwave I might use. Not a soul answered any of those lines.

So that all ruined my opinion of this place. But a couple of other things:
-Huge mat of long black hair in the shower lead me to believe, the otherwise very nice shower hadn't been cleaned recently.
-All the pillows on the bed were shaped like basketballs and about as soft.
-The bed was so cheap I could feel the springs... or maybe those were pieces of re-bar.

Maybe $190 just isn't enough money for a quality room? Oh wait $190 plus the $50 "Resort fee." I will resort to never staying here again!

The rooms are fine, but security is strict. More importantly, their late-night buffalo wings are served with ranch dressing instead of blue cheese. Ranch dressing? Most would say no "Meh, no big deal". To me however, this is a travesty.

If I could don't stay here I would recomend somewhere else to go, me and my wife came here like we have been for years and for some reason, this girl security decided to pick on my wife, she said because shes drank too much, we weren't creating any problem at all we spend thousands of dollars here, but we are never going to stay here ever again, they do not value you here as a valued custumer, they just pick on people securiry here decides who stays and who doesn't and we are a paying custumer and was disrespected by the staff. Go spend your money across the way where they they would respect you, and allow husband and wife to have a good time, they racially profilled me and my wife assumed we weren't staying at there hotel asked me twice if I we were guest at the Hotel. Go Where they don't tell you you've spent enough money and treat you like a guest, stay at harvey's. Not once have I recieved an appology from this place they have the worst custumer service here don't stay here they don't care abour you you are just another number, I get it's a Casino but atleast I wan't to feel like I'm spending my money on someone who cares to keep my bussiness, so stay somewhere else don"t stay here, they don't trreat payning custumers with respect, or important to the establishment, lets show them with out custumers there bussiness wouldn't be around there are csinos and hotel with in walking distance fron here and I would tell every one not to come in here, don't come here, dont come here!!!!!!! I would recomend firing Kristine and her supervisor steve to keep custumers here at your establishment from a business owner to another.

I wasn't a guest just went to a concert there and it was a good experience overall. The showroom that it was in, is not ideal setup for a concert as you can't really dance since it is table style seating or really stand up since it would block other people. But overall nice hotel.

The only reasons I am giving two stars to this place is because the rooms are spacious and the lady at the spa was one of the better massages I got on the West Coast.

This is a nice casino but there seems to be less and less everytime I go. The staff is very nice and it is always clean. It was pretty quiet for a holiday weekend. Even the sports book was quiet. No specials going on even on football Sunday.

"Lake View"... more like a clear view of the Hard Rock... grabbing one of the motels outside of town would have been more economic and better accommodations... wish I could post the pictures too.

Customer service was horrible. Woke up to a $400 charge on my card immediately went downstairs at 5:30am to figure out what happened. The result was we were lied to multiple times from the room comp being corrected to saying a manager would be available at 8. We waited around over 2hrs and still no manager showed up that could help us. We were told that the manager gets in late and it s been an hour since we were told he would be here. Very disappointed and the service with no supervisor or manager to help with issues other staff can t do on their own. Will not come back.

Rating is for casino, as I've never stayed in hotel. Some dealers very unfriendly. Poor pay tables for video poker. No cheap 3:2 blackjack. Their comps are pretty good though, including some nice free VIP dinners. Slots moderately loose and good selection.

Low budget Hotel. Day old salad with day old bread served in the Cafe Del Soul for lunch. I got a draft Coors Light beer at the Craft Bar and it was flat. I asked to have it replaced and the bartender said there was nothing wrong with the beer. So I insisted on a beer in a bottle instead. The casino is low budget as the bar in the casino where I was playing video black jack the bar tender was pouring 1/10 of a shot when I asked for a tanqueray and tonic. The sushi restaurant sucks...frozen food thawed out. Montbleau...if you stay cheap and low budget then that is the clientele you are going to attract and this is THE clientele you are attracting.

Good location. Walking distance from everything. Casino was fun with the husband. Shower was nice and enormous. Bed was hard as a rock. My husband didnt sleep for the 2 nights we stayed and when we left, his back hurt and he's 33 y-o. I'm 28 and after a two-night stay, my NOT injured knee hurt, my lower back hurt, and my right shoulder hurt. My bunkbed in bootcamp was more comfortable. No we were not drinking during the whole trip.

I have never had a bad experience at Mont bleu. Staff is always friendly, there is a lot to do there, the pool area is awesome and the rooms are nice. I definitely recommend it. Especially on Friday nights when they have ladies night at Opal.

The rooms were really large and spacious. the food was really good! I usually don't expect much out of hotel food, but everything from the pizzas to quesadillas were great! Location is pretty much the same as the rest of the casino hotels at lake Tahoe, do that doesn't make much of a difference. Overall I enjoyed my stay!

If I could give a 0 I would. Long story short, car broke down, arrived as soon as we could. Expected great things from the hotel and staff upon arrival. check in was easy. Everything fine until we entered the room. No fridge, no robes, no expect. Upon calling down to ask for a fridge, concierge KYLE picked up. He said, "can you please hold a few minute?" I thought, minutes? That's a while so I asked, "please call me back" assuming they were very busy because of the phone wait time, I tried a different extension and go the front desk .They informed the hotel has no fridges for rooms. Also a drawer handle missing/broken. Front desk was nice so I hung up and informed my father what they said. Second later Kyle called back. I explained I was able to get ahold of someone else and they said there is no fridge and also our drawer is damaged. His response was shocking, as he rudely and crassly asked me to repeat the first thing I said, like that's the solution to my issue. THE REASON WE NEED A FRIDGE IS FOR MY FATHER'S MEDICINE! I was so taken back by the way he spoke to me, a paying customer, I hung up. We are looking into other hotels for the week.

The place was clean and tidy but we booked a a room with a king size bed and gave us a queen size bed. We spoke with check in and they told us that that was a king. I know a king i sleep in one this was not a king. The bathroom was spacious and beautiful but the shower had no pressure. The view was beautiful.

Rooms are nicer than the other hotels however casino is quite small. Indoor pool is beautiful very big the club looks amazing Saturday nights and service overall was average. Dining options are plenty but did not seem appetizing
