Questionable Practices! We have Anthem Blue Cross...

Questionable Practices! We have Anthem Blue Cross for our son and we chose Monarch as his medical group. Poor decision! I should have ran fast last year when they wouldn't put the correct date for meeting my out of pocket for him. It took much fighting and they always act like they can't fix anything even though Anthem will correct the date and tell them. Here we are again with the same issue. At some point isn't this just fraud?! I have called & called and they say there's no billing department, they can't call a provider line to Anthem (though Anthem says they call it all the time) and they just push me off to different people that can't help me. TERRIBLE.

Yes if I could give 0 I would also. I can not believe how unorganized this coming is. Making appointment is horrible. Sending me to doctors that will not accept my insurance. The list goes on. I will be changing my insurance that is for sure. The 7 months I have been with them has been so unacceptable.

I've been bounced around for the past 3 weeks for one appointment. I started talking about it, and received immediate push-back from the assistant about how hard her job was and it wasn't her fault. Trying to find out what I was actually supposed to do to correct the situation resulted in no answers. When I first started going here, they LOST all my records, and acted like there was nothing wrong with having all my confidential information in some strangers hands, and that they'd go out of their way to call the Dr.'s office and re-request the records. No apologies or even mention of my lost records. I had a confirmation photo of the signature, by the way. That of course I had to find and show them, even though I gave them the same information I had. The people on the phone interrupt me and then when I continue trying to finish my sentence, chastise me for interrupting. All in all, one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Doctor's office. Absolutely horrible.

The most deplorable plan I have ever had. Their website claims that they are covered by providers who then say the opposite. Expect to also get booted out of the hospital quickly with these guys. They literally do not cover anything.

My Friend and I came on vacation from Irvine, CA ....

My Friend and I came on vacation from Irvine, CA . During the flight he mentioned he wasn't feeling himself. After two days of touristy things. He needed to go back to the hotel. He felt so sick. I immediately went online to find a place to bring him. Who wants to be sick on vacation? Anyways! We made an appointment within the hour, was seen and got medication within hours of our visit. And get this, the Walgreen was across the street. The doctor faxed everything in for us. Insurance was accepted and all. It was clean, friendly and efficient! I highly recommend this place to be taken care of when not feeling well. Thank you to the team at the Golden Gate Urgent care!

Referred to a physical therapy on spine 1 hour away + traffic from work. So I paid cash to clinic near by, did not improve. After MRI, physician referred a foot doctor for spine, but after getting a new referral, Monarch rejected a referral to a spine doctor to just take a look at MRI result.

what a B.S. company.

Horrible experience trying to get to see a recomme...

Horrible experience trying to get to see a recommended specialist by pcp/ ER / urgent care ... with this health insurance .I Got over 50 referrals & dozens of ER visits .
They actually put up so many road blocks. It was never resolved after 2 years & I ended up having to be hospitalized for the issue & almost died .... ( that I'm sure cost 100 times more than it would to just have seen a specialist.).
I Dont recommend to anyone , since I have a degree in the medical field , I know what's going on & what to do .
I like to do whats medically necessary first. Now I know why my PCP no longer takes Monarch , because too many problems & he switched to another provider who takes Obamacare thankfully ... good doctors are hard to find. Now I no longer have a pcp. Do yourself a favor & choose another heath insurance , if you care about your health. The people who answer the phone ,have an ineptitude level that is mind blowing , ( I wouldn't trust them with my dead fish )
