I have never had any complaints about this hospital.
In January of 2018 I came because I was pregnant, they did everything they could to save my baby. Everyone was so attentive and concerned. I stayed in the hospital for 4 days. Tiffany (she was from Atlanta) is a nurse I will always remember. She was gentle and very carrying. I also remember the CNA Lanelle who wrote her number on the board if I ever needed anything.
The doctor was very carrying as well.
Anytime I'm not feeling well this will always be my first choice when getting better. Thank you MLK Community Hospital for being apart of this community!

This hospital is amazing.

This hospital is amazing.
I gave birth 2 my daughter here almost 3 years ago. They were so caring and professional, they give you answers and information you need to know. I was so happy with my experience, I registered for my other baby. At first I was scared because we're in a pandemic but they made sure I was taken care off and they took extra.measures to be safe in this pandemic. Patient, encouraging, caring, professional. They we're very loving and careful with my new baby. I always come here for emergencies too. Thank you MLK

MLK s cardiology and pulmonology staff have not only saved my life multiple times in the last 6 months, but are the best team of specialists I ve ever had. They truly have the patient s best interests at heart and do everything they can for their patients, including listen to their concerns and validate their fears without judgment, with limited resources at times. As for their ER physicians, Dr Ash/Ashe tried to send me home after I lost consciousness and my heart rate spiked to 168 from the low 70s as I sat up in front of him (at 23 years old), tried to tell me my partner should quit their job to take care of me 24/7, and only when threatened with a lawsuit did he listen when I said I was going to die if I went home. Turned out I was in acute hypoxemic respiratory failure, had acute respiratory alkalosis, had adrenal dysfunction that required multiple IV infusions every week, and my post-Covid syndrome had triggered an underlying heart condition that requires me to be on 5-8 liters of oxygen. If you can make it past the ER doctors, you will receive the best care possible. Make sure to advocate for yourself!!

I really love the dedication and commitment each staff gives to the patients. I pray they open a children's hospital here, my experience for my child was very helpful and pleasant. They treat from the heart and it shows! Thank you so very much. God bless you all

On another note whoever they hire their security from should train their officers better. They allowed smoking next to the entrance and did nothing to provide a safe environment for the the sick while waiting to be admitted.

This is a decent hospital but definitely not the best. The emergency area is horrible. The nurses can be a bit unprofessional when all you want is to get properly helped. They kinda just treat you like trash and make you wait so long to More

Gave beginning to my son right here when it had simply opened. I wouldn t want to have had him everywhere else. It was so extremely clean, had a room to myself, had all of the nurses attention and help.
They were outstanding useful.
They re baby friendly this means that they assist breastfeeding and pores and skin to pores and skin.
It become extremely good

If you plan to have your baby here please be strict on your birth plan. These nurses and midwives are so unprofessional. They just jam their hands in you to check your cervix without even asking permission, try to leave you strapped to the bed and IV. Try to scare you saying your baby s heart rate is dropping. Cut umbilical cord after requesting delayed clamping. Try to scare you into vaccines. Give you a hard time about taking your placenta home. In and out of your room all night while you and your new born are trying to rest to give your baby shots and check your blood pressure. Get mad and harass you when you refuse the shots and tests. Just so inconsiderate. The best part about my experience was the Lactation specialist by the name of Lily who helped me so much with breast feeding and was always on call for me

This place needs to be shut down again. Nurses r rude & dont keep you updated on anything. To busy sitting on the computer about the sales. Dr won't come see you & don't order meds for anything. Horrible place. You Will Die coming here. And I. Also a Cancer Patient on Active Chemo treatment and Radiation.

The nurse forgot to put on gloves while checking my wound on my left hand. They said they knew what they where doing but looked confused. Nurses laughing on there phones looking at tik tok videos. Very uncomfortable I did not feel secure or safe while I was there I was sitting in a booth not even in a room.

The ER is very filthy trash on the floor lack of respect I wasn't treated how I wanted to be treated when it came to my care. Definitely never going to that hospital again.
