This is a beautiful establishment great for romantic night out or just a wonderful time with your girlfriends. The food and the ambience is absolutely gorgeous. The view of the Manhattan skyline just leaves you speechless. However I have to say the drinks are extremely strong but I can t complain about that and everything is reasonably price. The only thing that I have to complain about is the boys who park the cars seems to be a little rude however everything else was marvelous.

Painstakingly slow service put a damper on my visit here with a large group (who was split into 5 tables) - but it wasn't the only thing. The atmosphere is completely breathtaking, the selection is great, and the excitement of the fish and lobster sitting there when you walk in is super cool. However, my food was disappointingly boring - and for the price, there is no excuse for that. The cocktails and wine selection were great (try the lavender), so my thoughts - skip dinner and order cocktails and oysters at the bar.

Dining at Molos Estiatorion is an extraordinary experience. The restaurant is right on the Hudson and has a glass wall on its north, east and south. The views are spectacular and so is the food. Traditional Greek cuisine with emphasis on fresh fish and seafood dishes. Been there several times and always looking forward to going back again. The staff is all professionally trained and is discretely present to serve you at all times. The place is decorated in Mediterranean style featuring white surfaces and plenty of light. Highly recommended.

The food is horrible. They are known as a seafood restaurant but serve bad fish. Fish is dry. The lobster ravioli was definitely store bought and don't even try the dessert. It's shop rite branded cakes. Sorry but shop rite might be better.

The place is very good for a date night or just a lunch. With a beautiful view and a great service you will definitely enjoy your time. However, it is on the pricy side and be ready to splurge $150-200 on a dinner for two.

Food was just average- took a while to come out from the appetizer to the meal. Slow service is quite frustrating. Our waitress was sweet but she was so booked with tables she wasn t around as much as I know she would ve liked to be. The setting is stunning on the water looking at the city but the food is not worth it. Oh yes, and my husbands oysters were dirty and shucked wrong- quite the disappointment. We won t return.

The View, Ambiance, Quaint - It was recommended to make reservations, which I did, but upon entering the venue I found there to be plentiful seats (Saturday 6PM). They were able to satisfy my request for a table for two by the window and it was just spectacular.

Their initial offerings for their fresh catch was quite impressive and the waitress was highly enthusiastic and knowledgeable on their offerings. My date and I eventually settled on the stuffed shrimp as an appetizer, medium pan seared Alaskan salmon with lemon potatoes with a raspberry sauce - the potatoes brought it all together! I'm a red guy so I paired it with a house merlot that I found to be satisfying. Dessert came with strawberries, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a chocolate souffle that my date found to be a perfect top-off of the evening's meal.

I truly found this be a relaxing atmosphere and not too loud for the amount of people that were present. I would like to say by 7PM three quarters of the tables were filled, but the moment still felt intimate and the volume was just enough to have a decent conversation.

Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

I went on 10/14 to celebrate my anniversary with my wife. Food was good but service not so much. Erick p was my server and he was no where to be found. When he did go to my table (D-19) he wouldnt make eye contact and rush off. I wish I had a better server especially since that night was my anniversary. I won't go back. Too bad.

Top notch food with great location! Unfortunately our waiter was very rude. We ate at the outdoor patio. Small flys dropped into our water, wine, and food. I asked for a new glass of water, as I felt bad to sent half eat food and wine back. The waiter asked me Why there s a fly in the water ? I was like how could I know. Then I explained to him there are at least 15 small flys on the table flying around, and some of them dropped into the plate. He then said yah yah and just left. If it were not for the excellent food and location of the restaurant, I would rate this place 1 star for that horrible attitude. I still tipped decently, but man that waiter also came to the table and read our signed receipt in front of us.
Oh also it was my birthday, and we were not even given bread.
Hire some people who represent the quality of your restaurant!

The view is amazing - our experience not so much. We waited a long time for our entrees to be served and when they finally came, all 4 of them were cold. At that point we were not sending them back because we had waited so long to begin with and were starving. We told our waiter (who was more than eager to make things right). He said he told the General Manager who would come and speak to us - he never did. Instead he sat at the table next to us and socialized. They took off one meal and gave us a free dessert. I appreciate the efforts with the one free meal and free dessert but we still spent $350 for cold meals. Very disappointed.

The location and ambiance were incredible. It is a beautiful restaurant. The food was just ok tho. Salmon tartar was great. Lamb chops weren't bad but the baklava was not good. I've never had bad baklava until this trip. Also food seems to be fairly priced for what it is and the location, however they nickel and dime you on the small things.
I got a glass of Seltzer water and a refill. I was charged 3$ per glass. I understand the costly food but there is no need to charge for water with bubbles. At least tell me first.

Honestly this place is not good, I don t think I ll ever go there again. The food was bland, cold and expensive. The service wasn t good, waited forever for a waiter. I would rather go to bone fish for sea food, just saying.

I was there Monday to taste the food and atmosphere for a graduation party. The appetizers and wine very good. I had stuffed lobster. It was ok different than what I'm used to. The lobster itself was overcooked and tough. My coworkers had fillet mignon. It was burnt and tasted burnt. When I brought it to the waiter's attention he tried to say because it was a Ithick cut of meat. Not buying it, it was burnt. Desserts I must say w are great. Would not go back there. Prices were too high for what you get

The restaurant is simple but lovely. The view is the city which is just beautiful and romantic during the evening. The food is great. Definitely have the grilled Bronzini if your a fish lover. The restaurant offers valet so you dont need t o worry about parking. Our waiter for the night was just wonderful. This restaurant will be added to my life of favorite restaurants in NJ.

Been here many times and will probably return. I'm happy there's not mandatory valet anymore. So plenty of free parking now.

Good, fresh food. Unique in that there aren't many other Greek restaurants in the area. Great view of NYC. A bit pricey, and I wish the service was more attentive. I also hope they bring the fish display back soon. I'd give 3.75 stars if I could.

Great food and view. I visited Molos with my wife, the food, ambiance and staff were great, specially the food, I had a Fillet Mignon, my wife had Lobster and Steak and both were delicious, I really like the atmosphere, you're not sitting on top of others and the entrance is really nice.

Had a business event there on 7-31-2015. Service was horrible but worst yet was the food. For what we paid for it was no better than a bad dinner food. Salmon over cooked, steak dry and who gives French fries on a main entre. Cocktail hour cheese and crackers, olives and radishes really ! Oh yes we had the Greek spinach spanakopita that the waitress had no clue what it was when we asked... Dessert Family style with only 1 of each item, would have been better for ice cream and a cookie for all. Needless to say save your money if looking to use as an event place. The best and only good thing is the view

Wow. What a view at this restaurant. Outstanding view of New York City from across the Hudson. We were there for a rehearsal dinner so we had the top floor rented out and it was spectacular. The service was top rate. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Little tough to get to for an out-of-towner but well worth the trip. Would suggest bringing a camera. You will want to take pictures.

We had been meaning to try Molos for a long time but just never got a round to it. On Mother's day we made a reservation for 8 including 2 kids and took the family to the Mother's Day brunch. I deeply regret taking so long to try this place because I was blown away with the quality of every detail of the brunch. I've never been to a brunch like that. The raw bar was perfect with crawfish, split lobster tails, oysters, and jumbo shrimp. The buffet had so many delicious items, each one of us at the table had a different favorite. Personally my favorites were the calamari with orzo and the stuffed flounder. (and obviously the lobsters and crawfish)
Desserts were amazing but I was so full by then I barely sampled. Not to mention the ambiance was breathtaking. I still haven't stopped talking about the spread since we left. We just made another reservation for Father's Day. They did everything flawlessly, hats off to Molos. I hope they never change a thing. Bravo!!!

It's not Mexican!

It's not Mexican!
It's a modern mix of Greek and American.
Small menu. And a book for the alcohol. Lol
Fish tacos was the best I have ever had. I have had my share of fish tacos from all corners of the world. Seriously top notch quality.
Also the butter for the bread is a home made fig peach butter. Lovely. Just lovely.

Lovely Manhattan View. Went for their New Year's Eve celebration and was very happy with the choice. The 4 course dinner had good choices and the food was good. We had the surf and turf and the filet was cooked as ordered and it and the lobster were both fine. The view was very nice and the party itself was fun. Good DJ with good music choices and plenty of people dancing. Would definitely visit again.

I wanted to be impressed but...

The location is great, valet parking, and great view of Manhattan.

My friend was impressed he thought of having his birthday party there. He asked about the capacity of upstairs and downstairs. Great fit.

We did not order the prefix dinner. We ordered soup, appetizer and main course a la carte. Our appetizer came but not the soup - 'No soup today' but we were not informed prior to the appetizer. My appetizer - tuna tartar - was salty. For someone who grew up with anchovies and shrimp paste, I know what salty food is and that was extremely salty. I tried to smother it with lemon but it did not work.

Now for the main dish - at least 40 minutes before they arrived. Why were we not informed that it would take that long to prepare, we could have order more appetizer?

Oh and one of the appetizer we ordered never came.

Noise level is loud. The place exudes refinement but the crowd was rowdy even though the place is not even half-full. Maybe it's the alcohol.

We went elsewhere for dessert.

My friend was mad at me for even giving a tip. And definitely no birthday party there.

Today was my first time at Molos and I love the food. I ate the steamed lobster and it was by far the best lobster I have ever ate. Zelia was my server and she was great. I will definitely come back.

Gorgeous view!

Gorgeous view!
Delicious food!
But service is below average, our server was absolutely careless, we were never offered an other beverage, never asked if we enjoyed our food, even the side plate for the shells ( we ordered seafood dish) was brought to us only after we asked for it 2 times.
