Semi large hotel with catering rooms for various functions such as bridal showers and other special events. The hotel is well known for their Sunday Brunches. I believe there are two sittings. The piano music is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and accommodating towards your needs. A most enjoyable time will be had if you choose to stay there or just visit.
We went there for there Sunday Brunch and it was amazing the staff that took care of us was great and the food was top notch no complaints at all.

Every year for Easter same problem (I must be glotten for punishment lol). One month before at 6:30 am they open their phone lines for Easter Brunch reservation (don t know which phone lines they open since both numbers available to the public are always busy) and every year same story from 6:30 to 8:30 impossible to get thru, phones are busy and if not busy it rings and rings no one picks up, after 8:30 someone usually picks up reservation available very limited most of the time SOLD OUT within the two hours, however the past couple of years after a frustrating 2 hours I was lucky enough to get the 1:30-2:00 pm reservation for 14 people...well this year 2019 not so lucky ALL SOLD OUT within the 2 hours that I wasn t able to get thru. My question to them every year and again this year is how can you be SOLD OUT if your phones have been busy since 6:30 am and no calls were going thru? I am sure other customers are having the same problem? I am on a constant redial hang up and redial and nothing? How can it be possible that you were SOLD OUT? I truly believe that they send special reservation invitation to their preferred customers, otherwise how do you explain the phones always busy and unanswered and yet SOLD OUT? If in fact is the phone system the system truly sucks and an upgrade is needed )...on another note very poor customer service Manager David needs to go manage a fast food restaurant he has no class hung up on me twice (what manager hangs up on a customer? Now imagine what to expect from his staff? He certainly not setting a good example for his employees I don t even know why he hung up since I didn t even get angry was just asking for an explanation he sounded very frustrated. David if you cannot handle the pressure, well time for a new job.

From the beginning, we were so impressed on how professional and organized all of the staff members were at Molly Pitcher. We liked this venue because everything was on site. Since our wedding was in June, I sent out the reservation block information with our save the dates. However, it is important to relay to your guests that rooms book up fast! Some of our guests waited too long, and could not stay at the MPI. The venue is beautiful and has an old world charm to it. You are on the Navesink River, which helps you feel more relaxed right away. Again, the staff members were excellent. We worked with Judy who was very helpful and efficient. We also were helped by Katie who has really awesome ideas to help you plan your wedding day. Our ceremony was outside. It is windy out on the deck, but the view is why we wanted to get married at MPI. We did not do an arch or anything fancy, because I did not want to take away from the view. Instead, we rented palms from Guaranteed Plants in Rumson. Steve there is amazing and so reasonable. On the day of the wedding, I was completely catered to by all of the staff at the MPI. They helped our day run perfectly. Our maitre de Cristian was so attentive on the day of. He was constantly running around making sure our guests and us were happy. We could not have been happier with our choice to get married at the Molly Pitcher Inn. We are excited to come back for our first year anniversary!

I attended a Bridal Shower that was hosted here and it was absolutely gorgeous. Staff is very courteous, view of the water is immaculate and restaurant catering for the even was very upscale, with yummy healthy options available too. I really enjoyed taking advantage of the complimentary valet parking too! Elegant, memorable experience.
Great location, However, no elevator to rooms below lobby level, Airconditioner provided at the bottom of the room wall can be an irritant for sudden draft of cold air.
Very classy, with beautiful views of the river. Staff is wonderful and helpful, especially the bar staff.
Amazing old school charm hotel to stay and great bar
My wife and I were married here in 2012 and like to go back for a meal at the bar. Live piano music on Saturday nights and views of the Navesink River provide great atmosphere.
I have had dinners at this hotel many times however, my dinner last night for a holiday gathering with friends was so disappointing. Two of us ordered seared scallops. It was on a large dinner plate with 4 scallops. No vegetable or potato or rice was offered. It was an insulting presentation. Needless to say I and my guest who ordered the same meal left hungry. The atmosphere was delightful and the service pleasant. Unfortunately, we will be choosing another venue for next year's holiday dinner.
The Molly Pitcher Inn is an exuisite hotel and event establishment overlooking the navesink river. Located next to the town of Red Bank allows you to stroll into town for great shopping and dinner. I actually stay in the marina owned by the Molly and watch all the weddings over the weekend. It's a beautiful place for a wedding or other event. Good food, service and beautiful scenery.
We ve always had a great time here. We came for brunch last year and couldn t stop talking about your delectable short ribs. However, we recently rented a room at your hotel and made a reservation for dinner (about a week in advance). The restaurant ended up closing early and we never received any type of notification advising that our reservation had to be cancelled. Luckily downtown Red Bank is close by, but being a restaurant of your stature, we expected to be treated better than that.
The place seemed very nice and we'll organized. I'm expect ant event held there would go well.

Appetizers were absolutely delicious! Dinner was very weak and disappointing. Desert was delicious but can be better. Might have just been what the hostess ordered but still dinner should have been more tasty than bland... The Inn it's self is gorgeous with stunning views of the Navisank River!

Old hotel with tiny rooms but very clean. Great location. Would love to come back in the warm weather. Didn't have dinner but small plates and breakfast very good. Bar staff a mix of warm and surly but overall a great bar.
The rooms were clean, but there were some deficiencies as far as hospitality goes. There was no complimentary breakfast, and no refrigerator to keep any leftovers from restaurants.
I just grabbed a beer at the bar. That was fine. My colleagues had some food that arrived as I was leaving. They were all complaining that it was not good and overpriced this morning.
The rooms are so small I could not fit my luggage I had to bring only what I needed... They have a great view but I needed more space for the price they always have banquets but don't serve free breakfast for 200+.... You can do better keep looking
Great location and views, breakfast was mediocre, rooms are nice and clean. Major nuisance is the wifi, for which you need to get a new password from the reception every day, regardless of your length of stay. In 2018.
From start to finish our experience was incredible.
We celebrated a co-worker's wedding and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, the service was top notch, and the facility was wonderful. Staff was extremely well trained and courteous.

Very quaint place to stay. Rooms are cozy and service is excellent. Great restaurant/bar on first floor with charming staff. Located within walking distance to other restaurants and 15-20 minutes from the shore. You can stay at a Double Tree anywhere, but one 1 Molly Pitcher Inn.

This place is a terrible hotel. The rooms are tiny, the cardio equipment in the "gym" is all broken. It feels damp.
The service at the bar is either super awesome, or the bartender completely ignores you, depending on who is working.

We were here for a wedding. Here are the negatives. Rooms are extremely small Door to the bathroom didn't close all the way Pipes are old so sometimes the water was brownish colored Walls are paper-thin so we can fear everyone walking by Opening and closing doors are Extremely Loud and will wake you up at night if anyone in the three rooms next to vicinity does that Air conditioning did not work properly in our room and was about 80 degrees all night Patrons party until very late bc of multiple wedding Venus and you can hear music until midnight
The buffet was sumptuous! The food is tasty. The dining room was beautiful! But at the 1:30 seating they missed a number of details that would have made this a 5- star experience. The mimosas were warm. On my table the sweeteners were not refilled. The initial pitcher of half and half for my coffee was curdled. Frankly, the busboy, Maurisio (I think that's the correct spelling. My apologies if I made a mistake. ) did all of the checking on the tables, NOT the waiter. I gave Maurisio something extra. As the busboy, he gets a much smaller percentage of the tips.
Would I go back? Yes. The 1:30 seating? Maybe.

I don t often write reviews but the Molly Pitcher Inn deserves one. Of all the venues I have had friends have events at this far is the best one. The food is out standing and super fresh. The staff was extremely acapmedating and helpful. During setup of my friends baby shower they helped unload everything and were on hand to answer any question or grab anything you needed. They help guests bring their gifts in. During the shower they were attentive and kept everything on track. And then help bring all the gifts out to the cars. I can t speak highly enough of our experiences! You also can t beat the view.
My husband and I went to the Molly not really sure what to expect and we couldn't have been happier. Only expecting to have a drink or two at the bar we ended up staying for hours and not only had the most delicious dinner (sliders and a rib dinner with risoto) but had exceptional service from the bartender, Brian and bar manage Bob.

I got a gift card here for family to use when they come visit in Fall of 2019. Family booked a hotel room and planned to use the gift card for their planned stay. Due to Covid-19 Molly pitcher for the safety of guest cancelled our family stay. B.c of covid 19 we moved out of NJ for another job and asked to be replenished for our gift card. Called four times. Was told manager would reach back out to us. Fifth time he told front desk that it will not be refundable. If this was a big hotel chain I could use elsewhere I would be understanding. What I learned is always use a credit card for non hotel chains.
Besides no refunds I will be honest this hotel is beautiful and has great brunch and deserves that recognition. Its located in a beautiful city as well.
What upset us most was not hearing back and being told we would from the manager.
Nice enough room except it took a ten minute walk of the maze floor plan and the help of a very nice kitchen staffer to find the room. Not very handicapped friendly.
I wasn't inside, I just was waiting for my dad to pick me up and the streets were very busy. They were kind enough to let me and my friends sit there while we waited for him. It's rather lovely inside and out and it's a great location because Red Bank is full of great stuff to do.
