Stayed here on Dec 23-25 and the whole experience was great. The views out back are picture worthy. The rooms are small but well kept. The lounge bar was great and Art the bartender was the man. Breakfast downstairs was very good and reasonably priced. This will be our new spot to stay when we visit family in the area.

Water pressure and regulating the temperature of the shower was difficult. The tub also drained so slowly that by the end of the shower you were up to your calves in water. This happened in 3 of the rooms our family stayed in. The food is very, very good. The service was either top-notch or average depending on who you interacted with. Our server in the bar area, Matt, was as good as it gets. Beds were very comfortable.

Lovely hotel with charming staff right on the water. The hallways are a little quirky. We went down an elevator, through a maze, down some stairs and through another maze to get to our room. Just part of the adventure!

Staying here for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday. The room is beautiful and looks out to the pool and marina on the Navesink River. The staff could not have been nicer and the food was outstanding. Had breakfast in the dining room looking out to the water that was delicious. It filled us up. On our 2nd and last night we dined in the bar area. Dinner of fish and chips was delicious! We each had drinks. So good. And deserts were excellent Every thing was so clean. The bartender/waitress Virginia was so nice. I ordered a pina colada to celebrate my birthday. When desert was brought out she sang happy birthday to me. That was so nice. We tried the pool and relaxed. Who says you have to go far away to have a relaxed, enjoyable and safe vacation. Only 15 minutes from my home. Great time here.

Beautiful Hotel, fairly nice accommodations given the upgrades they've been making over the past few years. Outstanding food! Relaxing pool area and impeccably maintained gardens. Been coming here yearly for 10yrs+ and have acquired an affection of The Molly, but our past 2 visits have been less than par. They've failed to follow through on reservation requests they guaranteed on both occasions. Very disappointing stay this time around due to lack of care, customer service and lack of commitment to follow through. Customer satisfaction is not a strong point.

Beautiful hotel on the river. Especially love the view from the restaurant. Excellent food and staff. My only issue is I couldn't get a simple cup of tea or coffee after 10 am, they put away the hot water and coffee service.

I did not actually stay here, but I have been working with them the last week or so to get a room and meeting room set up for my boss. The plans kept changing, but the staff at the Molly Pitcher Inn, especially Elisabeth and Kelly, were so incredibly nice and helpful and made all of the planning much easier. Thank you so much for your incredible customer service, truly above and beyond expectations. I will certainly be contacting y'all in the future if i need a hotel or event room in the area.

Go for brunch every year as a family get together....

Go for brunch every year as a family get together. It is an overall nice experience but the price has increasingly gone up significantly, the crowds are bigger, the majority of the food is average, and the staff for the most part are unpleasant (e.g. guy in bow tie slicing the steak that has been there for years -- every year you are miserable, switch it up man, work the waffle station). Net net, if you like a really nice atmosphere and overpriced brunch, try it out. Or if you are trying brunches in the area worth it as part of the options. Things to know: crazy busy during holiday season. Dont be shocked on price. Desserts are below average, don't waste your time. Seafood is not fresh. Sausage is dry. But bacon is good, carving stations are great, waffles are awesome and best potato bake.

The Molly Pitcher is a historic building important...

The Molly Pitcher is a historic building important to Red Bank as well as the state of New Jersey. It would be beyond challenging to find another Inn that would be even a close comparison. If you go to the back of the building you will find a world class view of the Navesink River. A glorious view during anytime of the year. I have never stayed overnight in the Inn so I really can't comment on the accommodations. However if you want my opinion on the food, I would say awesome. The Sunday brunch is costly, but in my opinion worth the price. If you want scrambled eggs and pancakes, go to ihop. If you want to have a more luxurious meal with eggs Benedict, various seafood, etc. Molly Pitcher brunch is a good choice.

The Navesink River is an estuary, approximately 8 mi long in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The Inn sits nestled at a perfect location to gaze down the river. Don't quote me on this, but I am fairly certain that Bon Jovi still lives on the Navesink (not on it in a boat, his property is on the river). If you stand at the Molly Pitcher and look down the river, his home would be mid-way down the river on the left.

Stay away from this place! Wend there 3 weeks ago and it was the worst experience ever. First the sheets were stained and so were the pillow cases. GROSS! Then the morning we were leaving, I went to take a shower (they have bathtubs with the bat fitters) and I felt like I was surfing as I stood in the bathtub. Somehow there was all water under the fitter. As I was washing my hair I lost balance and cracked my head on the wall. My BF called for the manager to come up and told him what happened. They didnt come up. Instead they sent the maintenance man who agreed it was horrible and they needed to close the room off. Finally during check out we were not even addressed by the manager and not offered anything. My BF had to go back in and ask them to refund our money because of the incident and the fact that I would be going to the Urgent Care. It was like dealing with people who just stare at you. Oh and there was mold everywhere. Im not THAT picky of a person but when there are stains on sheets and you crack your head because the tub is broke I will have something to say.

Stayed two nights for a wedding being held at the Oyster Point. I was charged $230/night. I was given a room that was "garden level", however, in reality it was a sub-ground level room. When entering the room had a moldy, mildew, musty smell about it. The room was filled with outdated wallpaper that was peeling off. The bathroom has rust stains near the corners and near floor. Shower was backed up, although maintenance took care of it. Overall, I would not stay here again. For what I was charged I could stay at a four star hotel and have money left over for a nice dinner. Staff was friendly and beds were overall comfy -- but that was overshadowed by the fact that I felt uncomfortable with the smell, appearance, and overall feel of the room. It is apparent that the hotel invests all of its money in the venue aspect of the hotel and neglects to update the furnishing and finishing of the rooms.

Would not return.

What's not to love? The classic hotel and wood paneled bar are absolutely beautiful and take you back in time (in a good way) to when things were done right! The food is always on point as is the staff! You will not be disappointed.

Decent room, small but clean. Bartender on Sat Aug 4th was as rude as one can get. Was slamming things behind bar and we sat down asked for a glass of port and a dessert to cap off the night. He said kitchens closed. I said when? He said 10. It was 9:55. I wasn't asking them to cook just cut a piece of cake. If you are open till 10 serve until 10. So they lost a quick $50 and a future repeat customer. Would not go back there.

Everything was really nice about this place, but the rooms themselves could of been better. Small, with a tight bathroom, but that is what you get with an Inn. Biggest concern was the outlet situation, we had to plug phones in the bathroom

I would have given it 0 stars if that was available. I made a reservation 2 weeks prior for a special dinner with my daughter. The evening of our reservation which was set for 8pm, I called ahead of time to confirm my reservation. My daughter and I arrived, our temperatures got taken. The front desk staff directed us to the dinning area to wait for the restaurant staff to seat us. I approached a wait staff to alert him we were waiting to be seated. Without saying hello or welcoming us, he asked if we had a reservation. I answered that we do. He never asked for my name, instead he told us to stand to the side. We stood for over 15 minutes, he never acknowledged us neither were we seated. I felt humiliated in front of my daughter. This was the worst service ever. I called to speak to a manager while I walked away to inform him about what happened. He was unapologetic and insincere. I will warn others from patronizing this establishment. Poor customer service, poor management. Very poor experience.

It was an adventure. Case in point. Toilet seat so loose you need a seat belt to stay on. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Just hope they know first aid since they don't know handyman repairs.

Attempted to order a gift card. Was put on hold three times with each person asking why I was phoning. Finally got someone who sounded annoyed. Said they would send it email. Too tacky for a gift. No gift card!

If you are in the Red Bank NJ area and need a place for overnight accommodations ... The Molly Pitcher Inn is a wonderful lodging option.
It's historical and elegant that offers comfortable facilities with good service at reasonably affordable rates. And the water view is a bonus prize.

This is a beautiful old hotel. It's very elegant and classy. It's well known for its Sunday brunch which is pricey but excellent. I've been there for parties and weddings and they did a superb job at every event that I went to there. The staff is professional and most courteous. They will go out of their way to accommodate you. The only complaint is that the rooms are small but based on the age of the building that would be expected. I highly recommend this place to anyone who was staying in the Red Bank area.

This is a fabulous place with scenic water views, incredible service and exquisite meals. I also enjoy that it is a little more formal with jackets required for gentlemen. Fantastic place to celebrate a special occasion.

I recently had my wedding at the Molly and I am so happy with the results. They made the day completely stress free for me. This involved not only the stellar banquet staff, but also the rest of the hotel staff. The food was exquisite and our maitre'd Christian was incredible. I am still recovering from the amazing party 2 weeks later. Thank you so much.
