Today is my first day having Molina and the primary doctor listed is a wound specialist that has no idea why she is listed as my primary so I try to change it and it doesn't work so I call. I read the reviews and thought for some reason it wouldn't happrn to me but I have spent 6 hrs and 24 minutes trying to contact someone. One person said the couldn't help me after waiting over an hour and a half then 2 other times after being on hold for 2 hours each thet gung up on me!! I am furious. This is soooo wrong. They literally hung up on me TWICE after being on hold over 2 hours. The hold music is playing then it stops and you hear someone pick up the phone and straight up hangs the phone up. Run far far far away from these guys!!!! Try Oscar or ambett or literally anything else but these guys.

Does anyone even work here??? I have been calling this place for days and was on the phone for over an hour and NO ONE has picked up once! I don't know how this company is still running. Their website is not updated. They list doctors who don't even accept their insurance!!! I've been calling to change my mom's PCP for her since it won't let me anymore online BUT NO ONE PICKS UP THE DAMN PHONE! This company is the WORST. No wonder they're not accepted anywhere! They need to be shut down!

I chose this plan for pregnancy. Not only did half of the providers not accept their insurance anymore, but the remaining docs all delivered at JPS. I wish I would've known before signing up that the selection is extremely limited. Im considered high risk from my previous pregnancy and will not take any chances with my health, I needed a hospital well equipped to make sire i am alive for my children. Anytime I called for help I always got hung up on before being able to talk to an actual person or got caught in an automated loop. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COVERAGE AT ALL.

Unless you wanna pay for 12 months with no benefits in return, then don't choose this insurance. Awful, awful! They keep assigning providers that doesn't accept this insurance. When I change providers in website, it won't update and when I call them to change, they pick up say "hello" and drop the call. Never had such insurance when I had to call them every month to fix problems with billing and regarding PCP. Never get anything done on first try, requires hundred steps. My parents need refills but they can't get one because they don't have a provider on file that accepts this insurance.this insurance need to be shut down!!!!

I don't know what's going on but this is rediculous....what am I paying for? My insurance was supposed to kick in May 1st as I payed to start policy April 16th & it's still showing inactive. Therefore, my husband can't see his urologist or oncologist. And if I go with another insurance, he'll have to wait another month. I will be taking action.

If I could give negative stars I would. This is absolutely awful! The PCP i was given doesn't even accept Molina for adults, only for pediatrics. To add to the anger, I am currently 5 months pregnant and can not find a single office that accepts this "insurance". I am at my wits end and near tears because I don't know what to do. I can't get through on the phone. All I want is proper care for my baby. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GET THAT! I work hard and pay my taxes, The state takes money from me every pay period. All finances I carry without complaint but I can't seem to get assistance from the state I pay into! Unable to afford to pay out of pocket for insurance, and because I am employed, the tax credit is a joke. My situation forces me to continue without the care I should be getting. Like most everyone else I can't afford out of pocket medical aid. For some ungodly reason the insurance I do qualify for Is not accepted anywhere!!!! What is this? Why is it so hard to just have a doctor see me through this pregnancy. How are they getting state funded without providing any service. If your options are Molina or Roll the dice and see what happens.... Roll the dice. It is the same either way.

ATTENTION: If you are even considering signing up with Molina Health Care of Texas, DON'T. I signed up the healthcare.gov and this has been nothing but a nightmare. I had to add back in my children after they went through the standard process to see if they qualified for CHIPs or Medicaid in which they were not. They were then added back through healthcare.gov and confirm with the additional tax credits. I know healthcare.gov did their part right because the dental plan they were added to had no issues and they have been added to the portal. I have called multiple times with extensive hold times , which I can deal with. the issue is when you get someone on the phone they have no clue how to help. I have attached a screenshot of the call times and most of these are straight hold time. Yesterday I was on hold for 49 mins and as soon as I got a live person and started to explain my issue in a very polite manner I was hung up on. One of the first questions they ask is what is a good number in case we are disconnected which I gave her and she never called back. Molina adjusted my monthly payment for this month which is the correct price for myself, wife and children but they are still not confirmed to be covered. They are not coming up in the portal or over the phone with their date of births. Every rep that has tried to help has confirmed they are not covered with Molina. I have a court order that I have to have my children covered with health insurance and I have done everything I know to do. Your hands are tied with Molina because of the call centers and customer service they have on staff. I called back today and after a 40 min hold the lady that was very nice could not help me and transferred me which was anther hold time then it went straight to a survey asking if I was satisfied. when I hit 2 for no it would only continue to ask the same question.

Bottom line is pay extra and get a real health insurance company like BCBS or anyone but Molina. I never had these issues with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas or Illinois. The old saying "you get want you pay for!"

This is the absolute worst insurance company. Every RX that I am prescribed is not covered. Every time I call to address a prescription concern or ask a question about my plan I am on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. Then whomever answers my call puts me back on hold and we are "disconnected" or they give me another number to call that has the same options that I had when I initially called. I never receive a call back even though they always verify my number. That rant is not even including the issues as to my most recent call. A
It is ridiculous dealing with this company.
