I'm far from a gambler but I've seen friends crippled their accounts at this crooked Casino. Also this place pays multiple fines a year because its slots never pays out the state's minimum required pay out. Don't waste your time or money here.
Great casino I have been to most of the restaurant's there and all are excellent Favorites are Bar Louie, Rustic Kitchen, and Timbers also a bar in the middle of the casino floor is which is great if your hanging out playing slots or cards if that's your thing they also have different shows and events there fairly often overall it's a great place to go especially on a date night great food and lots to do
Casino was very nice, but unfortunately still has smoking areas indoors. Good choice of food, although the buffet wasn't open when we went. The Rustic Kitchen had fabulous food. Chicken Calabrese was excellent as were the Italian egg rolls.
Easy to get to location, easy parking, clean, no wait lines anywhere, courteous, friendly, knowledgable staff, awesome games, nice clientele. My favorite casino of 6 in PA.
We ate at Rustic Kitchen Italian. Both food and service were exceptional. The only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is the whole casino smelled like an ashtray. Gross!
Don't wait to go to the bathroom, getting out of the casino area is a nightmare! ! The openings are very far apart to get out and not marked AT ALL!! The slot machines were not paying out for anyone, and your rewards are laughable. The parking lot is not well marked especially for handicap people.
Great casino! The tables were nice and I really liked the non smoking section. I played blackjack for a couple of hours and a little video roulette. I highly recommend checking out the Rustic Kitchen for lunch or dinner. The food is great and they had a couple of great local beers on tap. This casino might have the best selection of restaurants to choose from outside of Vegas. Highly recommend.
Must show ID to get to the food area or walk all the way around the casino outside to get there for overpriced, overrated food. This includes avoiding the games floor.
Attended the women's empowerment seminar. Event was well organized, on time throughout, and had some impactful speakers that really kept the energy high through the long day. Only reason I did not 5 star was the food. Very small selection of food for a buffet (Both breakfast and dinner), and quite frankly, the food was just not good or at least nowhere near the quality I would expect for such an event at a high quality casino. However the food in no way ruined a great event, and will return next year.
On of PA better casinos. Ideally located. Easy to get to from turnpike, route 81, route 315, 115 and others. Buffet is really exceptional but only opened about 3 or 4 days a werk... mainly fri sat sun. Thursday we re not sure. Prices are a little pricey compared to nearby casinos. There is free outdoor parking. Valet parking is also outdoor and there is a charge except for handicap marked autos. Don't forget to. If buffet is not your thing eateries are plentiful and tasty.
This was our first trip to Mohegan Sun Casino and hotel. We went on a holiday week end and made hotel reservations well in advance since we were meeting other family members there. Upon entry there is plenty of free parking or if you have a players card you can valet for free, but the wait is pretty long to leave and to get your car. The inside was very impressive because it is huge, modern and beautifully decorated as well as sparkling clean. The hotel reservation desk had our reservation exactly right as I had a couple of specific requests which were perfect. The staff was very helpful, professional and very friendly. The hotel room was sparkling clean and set up with 2 queen beds, desk, TV, large windows, coffee maker, coffee packets, alarm clock, comfortable air conditioning, a very modern granite and tile bathroom with a large walk in shower. There is a large closet that has an ironing board, iron, room safe, luggage racks and quite a few wood hangers and there is a full length door mirror. Beautiful! The first floor has many little specialty shops and I believe 7 restaurants offering everything from a coffee shop with specialty pastries to a very exclusive steak house. We chose to eat one meal at the buffet since everyone had different dietary preferences and this way everyone got exactly what they wanted. The buffet price was only $19.99 when we were there and had a wide selection of everything including a chef that was carving hot roast beef, turkey or ham. All menu items were hot and fresh. The casino floor itself was different than anything I ever experienced because it had a penny slot "room: separated from the rest of the casino which was also non-smoking. The casino floor has a decorative iron railing running around the entire perimeter with entrances only at certain openings which made it a little difficult to get in and out in a hurry. There is a smoking and a non-smoking section and a large diagram/map showing the areas when you enter. There are many table games with as small a minimum as $5.00 and a wide variety of slots with everything from pennies up to a separated high roller room which I did not go into. The air quality was pretty good even in the smoking areas and there were plenty of waitresses to take your drink orders while on the gambling floor. I was also happy to see they had plenty of change machines where you could also cash in your slot ticket. The noise level ranged depending on the time of day or night and when it got exceptionally loud was when there was a live band in one the the nightclub restaurants right across the hall from the gaming floor. I always bring ear plugs and did use them so if extreme sound levels bother you, I recommend bringing them. All and all an excellent experience, we will be back!
Came here for my 21st birthday and had a blast! Lots of bars and casino games, cool perks, the staff was all super friendly, and security was tight. I definitely plan on coming back
Great place..very friendly staff and food is also very good at all the restaurants we were able to eat at..and you can't eat at all of them..there's too many..
Entrance fit for a King, like myself. Carded too many times because of my beautiful skin. They should have guards at entrances/exits only. I'm the poker king.
I used to love this casino until this year. They started to get a little cheap. They eliminated the amount of entrances into the casino so that they don't have to pay as many workers to watch the entrances. Even though it's only a few jobs eliminated it is still jobs people don't have now. The thing that upsets me most is they are not holding the annual Oktoberfest this year. It is being held at a different location. I used to look forward to gambling when I went to Oktoberfest. The good news is there's a lot of other casinos in Pennsylvania.
Staff is friendly and helpful in navigating. Didnt stay at the hotel and just went out for the casino and drinks but had a pleasant experience. Would go back.
Place was very dirty! No hand santizer available in areas. States there is smoking and non- smoking area there was no way to tell the difference. There was no way to escape the smoke. First time visit proabably will be last!
Not great service, I've been there for 5 hours and never was offered a drink already, I never get any free play and the set up of the game floor can be a bit confusing
Won't be returning. Ever since the new entry system onto the gaming floor to prohibit underage gambling, it's so limited that it's simply one big cluster trying to find your way in and out. And claustrophobic. Horrible gaming floor layout. Literally a maze. Worst layout of any casino I've ever been to. Very limited food options. Terrible video poker pay tables. Tight slots. High table minimums. Smoky. Located in a very depressed area of Pennsylvania. Definitely sticking with Mt. Airy in the Poconos and Sands in Bethlehem.
