BAIT AND SWITCH! This dealership cannot be trusted. Wish I could give them 0 stars. Found the perfect car for my first time car buyer daughter. She loved it, the salesman was great, we test drove it and she decided it was the one even though it was at the top of her price range. We sat down to look into financing and gave them all of our info. after over an hour of working with our salesman and manager, we were told that the car we were trying to purchase, was actually $3000 MORE! They sited human error when printing out the price on the window. They would not sell the car to me for the printed price, but they would give me $1,000 off. REALLY?? That just means you will charge me $2000 more than the listed price. Horrible way to treat a customer...and illegal to bait and switch someone at the end of a transaction! My daughter was so disappointed she wasn't going to get to buy the car she loved and I wasted 2 hours of my life, not to mention they ran my credit! NO INTEGRITY and you just lost a faithful customer Modesto Toyota, for your lack of professionalism and unfair business practices.

The sales people are incredibly pushy, the cars are over priced, and most of the people in here couldn't tell you anything more about the car except how much it's gonna cost you.

Everyone has shown that their customers are more like family than just another buck walking through the door. I ve done business here for years and with great treatment they provide I will continue in the future. Just got a New Toyota 4Runner limited as a surprise for my wife and she loved it! Best oil change I have gotten came with Modesto Toyota s Upgrade Program I got new oil and a new car. Thanks again!!!

My service visit was much better this time than in the past. I had an appointment and was on time. The service person in the parking bay was a little rude when he greeted me but after that it went smoothly. My car was serviced in a timely manner and the service rep was pleasant and thoughtful. It seems they can give great service when they try. This time I left feeling valued.

Probably the easiest car buying experience I ever been through. I was in and out in just about an hour.

I made and appointment at 11 am. when I went in it was 10:45 am. i was told it would be ready by 3 PM but should be done sooner. when i showed up at 3 PM to pick up the vehicle, they tell me it's not ready it will take another hour. a phone call would have been nice to let me know. I am in Modesto with no car and my poor dog in this heat. unprofessional.

Nice sales man... my mom bought a new avalon and sales guy tried to get her other offers but wasnt pushy and was straight forward. So he helped her out on what she wanted and worked with her. Of course steppimg into any car dealer ship requires a need of a car and a down payment. Ask questions make a right choice..you can walk away with a new car within an hout and a half.

Came here to look at some vehicles and even after I said I wasn't buying today Luis took the time to answer all questions my wife and I had and we will be back.

I arrived at 8:35 for my 8:40 appointment and initially was confused because appointment and non appointment vehicles were all lining up in four lanes and I wondered why I had scheduled an appointment at all but shortly after they took my vehicle information I learned that everyone was checked in together and then they did try to complete the scheduled work prior to walk ins. It was very busy but I was comfortable waiting in their nice waiting area. The staff was very friendly and the service advisor went above and beyond when my car was ready He complimented my care of the vehicle (very old and high mileage) and was very helpful getting me directed to the cashier and explaining how to retrieve my vehicle from the porter.

Got a great deal, all papers ready when I arrived, in and out in an hour and a half - unheard of! Everyone was very friendly and professional!

We had a very good buying experience!! Everything went very smoothly and we are very happy with out purchase!

Make sure you really look at your extended warranty very closely! I bought a jeep wrangled that was lifted from this dealer and was told everything was covered! Oh no toyota warranties don't cover after market parts but the sales team and the writer of the contract will tell you everything is covered. Almost15,000 dollars later I'm still having issues with this vehicle... Never again!

No hassle they work hard to not waste time. I'm a fan.

Horrible service. My car was involved in an accident. I asked them to fax the necessary information to my GAP insurance....it's been over a month since I signed the paperwork and they haven't done their part. I've been calling them so many times but they haven't returned ANY of my calls. I will never buy from them again!

After waiting 45 mins for someone to help us to test drive 2 vehicles, we decided to leave. Came back a few hours later and was greeted by a friendly associate, Eddie Reese. Eddie apologized for our earlier experience and assured us he would help us for however long it took. We test drove 2 cars, I found 1 I liked a lot. Eddie was knowledgeable and helpful in answering our questions and concerns. Looking forward to coming back and hopefully putting pen to paper for the car! Huge thanks to Eddie for being so professional!

I haven't bought a vehicle from here, but I visit the auto part department usually which they are fairly nice and knowledge.

Great dealership. I don't personally expect much from dealerships but this one is comfy for the wait when bring in my car for regular servicing. They usually over estimate on the wait times but TVs and a thriftshop not too far seem to make time fly. They have a good selection of items from vending machines. The bathrooms are usually quite clean. Their staff is friendly and helpful. What more can I say about a dealership, really? It's convenient, comfy, roomy, with a wide selection of cars to choose from if you ring buying.

I have to say i ve had problems in the past many many years ago with this dealership service dept, but i not had a problem yet for the last 10 years or more they always take care of me and the job is always done right the first time, aaron england is very good to me and always takes care of my repair service needs on a timely manner and does a good job getting my car to service personel who have experince and know their stuff i like that, and i never have to second guess him i took my 91 pickup and it needed alot of fixing and he had a good service person do the job and not had a problem since, my pickup has over 300,000 miles on it and it still runs like a top i recommend this dealership service dept i have 3 toyotas and Aaron england does all the service work on all three toyotas and has not let me down yet he s very professional and knows my vehicles very well i never can say enough about him hes a good employee and a assistant manager who cares about his customers cudo s to modesto toyota he s a good asset to the dealership thnx modesto toyota your the best

Great experience purchasing a new vehicle from Modesto Toyota! This was my second new vehicle purchase. My first new vehicle purcahse (NOT from Modesto Toyota) was not the greatest experience for multiple reasons. Due to my previous experience I was hesitant to go to another dealership and relive all that.

I'm glad to say that Modesto Toyota was the polar opposite of my previous experience. It was a friendly and no pressure atmosphere. They did not attempt to tack on endless add-ons after we reached an agreed upon price for the vehicle. I actually sold my used vehicle to another company down the road, but Modesto Toyota was kind enough to pick me up from there and take me back to the dealership and complete my new Toyota transaction!

I'd absolutely recommend Modesto Toyota for anyone in the market for a Toyota!

This is one of the few businesses I have ever dealt with where you actually learn to like everyone that worked with you. Very helpful and very friendly.

My service advisor Jennifer Valverde was very knowledgeable and is always very courteous when I have dealt with her. She kept me aware of the services my Tundra required and made me aware of the costs of the repairs. My Tundra was serviced in an adequate time frame. My only gripe is that on the services provided while waiting for service the website advertises car wash availability, however when they called me the day prior to my appointment I was advised by their representative that car wash service is unavailable. My gripe is why advertise it if it s not available. For that reason I can only give them 4 stars.

The Modesto Toyota staff was very helpful and did not use high pressure sales tactics. They gave us a great deal and terrific interest rate.

I took my Avalon for a recall repair (air bags) and was very impressed at the cleanliness efforts.Your employees and most of customers were wearing face coverings. Hand sanitizer readily available and then the man who pulled my car around at the end wiped down the steering wheel, other surfaces and even the keys. A big thank you for your contribution to public health!

Les provided me with not rush into purchasing service which I appreciated. I live closer to Merced toyita but decided with modesto toyota, I'm sure glad I did and would do it again.

Today my wife and I brought a new Toyota and I must say that the gentleman in sales at Modesto Toyota could not have been more helpful in making our experience a pleasure. Very pushy staff. Insisted that in order to get prices I needed to provide my social (which they then later ran on as a credit report). My mistake and have since found out that's illegal. Not only will never buy a car from this location I will never buy Toyota.

Few hour wait to replace 1 piece of trim (under warranty) above glove box on 4runner held in by clips at a 9 am appointment

Also service advisor Mike Wilson doesn t wear his mask over his nose only his mouth, every other employee I saw including service providers wear mask correctly. He was wearing his mask like this on 3 separate times I was here.

Mike Wilson also doesn t check his text messaging from the number they give to ask questions about service etc. I text every 10 min for 2 hours straight with no reply. Sat and watched him inbetween customers and when it was slow he never replied.

Why does Mike not have to wear his mask over his nose when every other employee wears their mask correctly ?

Sympathetic and respectful staff here at Modesto Toyota. They treat you like one of the family and are genuinely concerned about your needs. They have the best financing options available and will represent you like an attorney when it's time to get approved. They also have the best prices in the Central Valley and Bay Area, trust me I've spent a lot of time getting quotes from other dealerships. I always come here to buy cars and always will. It was a super friendly place. The sale rep that help us was very nice and didn't make us feel rushed. The whole team we worked with was very nice and friendly. Even when we went in to sign the paperwork the person who helped us found a better finance company and got us a lower finance rate. I'm very happy with my purchase and will definitely recommend them for car purchases.

Horrible Horrible Horrible experience.

I went there to look and buy RAV4 Toytota.They were all over the place in their ground so had to walk server times to go see vehicles.. The guy named Alex was my show guy. He was talking more than he could offer and he himself was so confused on his cars (LE/SE etc) and colors. Sometimes he would say he has the one I was asking about and other time he would say he doesnt have. He promised to give me emergency kit delivered to my address, which he never did.
Very confusing and badexperience.

Absolutely disaster, it took our 4 hours and more to buy a car on a cash deal , they lie and when you complain ,they say they provide you with paper work ,then they call and say they dont, the sticker on car says msrp price but that price is almost 3k price,after calling and giving them a chance to corect the problem ,they call say one thing and call back say another, I had never ever experienced worst treatment hear than any other delear ship, be warned, hope what happen to me does not happen to you, dont be so tristy,because they could take advantage of you like they did with me, I am following up with Toyota head quarters and possibly small claim court, if I could give the negative rating,I will give me them _10

Took my car for regular Service Maintenance, car also had the tire pressure light from night before, after they checked that they found a nail and said they COULD NOT PATCH IT, that I needed a new one for $130.00, I took it to another tire place that actually patched it for $15.00,
REALLY !!!!! I called to complaint about this, of course I was sent to Supervisors' voicemail.

Place has been re-vamped. Nice waiting area, friendly staff. I like the valet pick up for your vehicle after service. It's organized. Car is ready when promised.

Always Modesto Toyota service lie to you the never say reality if your car have a small issue the told you change this this but before you visit the dealership make you go to local mechanic price the tell you and the price local mechanics is like a sky and ground deferent i never wanna buy anything from them

What an amazing experience we had at Modesto Toyota. Normally, I prepare myself for whatever salesman I m going to have to deal with, but this was different. Everyone was friendly and not pushy at all. The finance person was personable and went through everything I was paying for. I give Modesto Toyota 5 stars and will be back for future purchases.

Took our Corolla in for several recall notices. Second visit in several years. Both times they were great -- nice waiting room, shuttle to anywhere in town. service performed in less time than they estimated. Slight criticism in that people weren't quite as effusively friendly as last time with my truck, but still polite in a business like way. Anyway, highly recommended.

Extremely rude and won't answer the phone over an hour before closing time because they are too lazy to take any more vehicles.

The service department is nice. But I brought my car in to be serviced they told me it could be a 3 hour wait. So I was offered a shuttle ride. I put my name on list waited an hour and a half until shuttle was called. So I might as well wait now. So if you have service to be done get a ride. You might not ever get a shuttle.

The staff was friendly and helpful, from the Sales Department to the Finance Manager. I feel that I got a great deal from Henry Mota, in Internet Sales, on my new Tacoma.

Nice dealership. We bought a 2018 Toyota Camry XSE. Beautiful sporty car. When the model they had did not have a feature we we're told it had, Jesus went out of his way to locate the exact car with the features and delivered it to us. I would buy from this dealership again. I recommend Modesto Toyota if you are in the market for a new car.
