A management team is a bunch of liars! They agreed to provide a 30-day net credit term for payment after your order, however they submit the check as soon as you give it to them! I made an agreement with Susan (Sales Manager) that I pay 50% downpayment for my bedroom furniture and to pay another 50% after 30 days from my order date and she accepted it. However at the day of delivery they were not willing to deliver the items until a full amount is paid. I spoke over the phone with Account Receivable Manager and he also agreed to collect a post-dated check at the day of delivery and to deposit it in next 2 weeks. However they deposited it the same day and they are telling me now that they never made any agreements with me. So this is a total lie to a customer that makes their service unacceptable. I do not recommend this place! You can find a lot of their items SAME BRAND online on other websites for lower price and not interacting with this middleman reseller.
If I could have given "Mediocre Miami" no stars, I would have. Wished I saw all of these reviews before I bought anything from this atrocious place. As one reviewer said, the furniture looks modern and snazzy at the showroom, but what you get, when you get it, is the worst craftsmanship ever. The reason I said, when you get it, is because they LIE when you go to purchase. I ordered a sofa in November of 2013, that was supposed to be IN stock, as I was moving into an apartment in December of 2013. I was ensured on multiple times during my purchase, that I would receive it way before that moving date. Needless to say, I was so embarrassed to have guests over, because there was nothing for them to sit on until March of 2014. Absolutely unacceptable! Modern Miami my foot! More like backyard garbage! Oh and of course when you call and you are obviously irate, they get more upset than you do. Forget about wanting to talk to the person you dealt with who gave you absolute assurance of timely arrival. They are "never there." So I received this sofa March 2014 and of course when I do get it, it's so poorly made. I should known given the bad start I had with this company. So, if you paid $1800 cash for a sofa (I spent $4000 there), you would expect some degree of nicety/class/craftsmanship. Of course, I wasn't expecting Italian leather but money paid for something is still money paid, especially when you are assured of quality and everything looks so wonderfully done in the showroom. Anyway, so I decided to "battle" (yes battle as they are very rude/crass) with them again over this. I couldn't return the sofa as I live outside of the United States, so I was given back half of the money for the sofa. I would have said nice of them, but fast forward to 2015. Not even a full two years later and I'm embarrassed again to have people over to my place as the sofa started to peel. Really badly!!!!!! So much so, there's black pieces of fabric (supposed to be bonded leather) all over the ground where the sofa sits. I wish I can upload pictures on here. I have to lay a blanket over so that no one will see the cheap, disgusting sofa. Modern Miami was the worst decision I ever made. I wish I never went to them and I really hope I can save other people from making the same bad decision i made. Don't be fooled by the snazzy showroom. All that glitters isn't gold. Clearly. Now I'm stuck having to spend money to redo the entire sofa. However, as it may cost more to redo than to purchase another set altogether, I think I may just throw it out or give it to someone less fortunate. Even though, I wouldn't wish that atrocity on them. Modern Miami, you are a waste of time and hard earned money, you are no better than the average robber on the road. The only difference is that people don't know they are being robbed until after. At least, the one on the road has the decency to let the person know they are being robbed. Thief with a smile...initially... Is what you are. I will never purchase anything from you again, not even a cup. You aren't worth it to give $25,000 of my currency again and I hope other people learn. Read the reviews people. Save yourself the hassle and trouble of this place.
Had a great experience furniture shopping at Modern Miami.The salesperson Vadim Rogachevsky was very helpful from the moment I walked in.He was able to help me to find exactly what I needed for my new apartment.I scheduled a delivery for several days later,and the furniture was delivered on time and in excellent shape as promised.Very happy with my new furniture(excellent quality and modern look!)and look forward to shopping at Modern Miami again!
I am looking to purchase some furniture and it is a shame that this store is getting bad reviews as I like the furniture via photos. I refuse to pay money and not see results. I will shop elsewhere.

Modern Miami Furniture was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Very professional and helpful sales staff. Products are extremely cool. Even delivery was perfect. For South Florida, where everything is dysfunctional and lame, it was actually a normal experience. Very unusual. Wasnt third world like everything else here is. Highly recommended. If I could leave 0 stars , I would do so. I cannot believe that something like this can happen in US. On March 2017, 1.5 years ago, I purchased the bedroom set (1 bed, 2 dressers and 2 nightstands), sleeper, 4 bar chairs, 1 nightstand, 1 coffee table , 1 TV stand, all in one day.
Two months later we received the bedroom set. After contacting the store several times and asking about our other furniture, in October 2017 we received the sleeper, but leather was very damaged and sleeper could not be used. After arranging/contacting several times again to return this sleeper, they finally picked it up. In December 2017, 9 months later, we still did not have our furniture. At the store, they would tell us multiple times that your furniture is on its way to your house, but would never show up. When we called to find out what happened, they would tell that truck got in the accident, or truck got broken down on the street, etc. Every time they try to deliver- some accident would happen to the truck. January 2018- they brought to us a bunch of broken, scratched damaged furniture that we did not even ordered. For example - we purchased 4 white bar stools, they sent us 4 damaged black bar stools. March 2018, still have no furniture we purchased. In
May 2018 we finally got our right color sleeper, but nothing else. We requested our re-fund for the rest of the furniture, but 3 months later after our request, we still have no re-fund of our money or furniture. They own us almost $3000!. So much of lie from different people. Three weeks ago, they told me that refund has been processed and I should have a check, but it never happened. They lie again. Now, they know our Minnesota area code and don't even pick up the phone. 11 complains in BBB agency left already by different people. The same owner has multiple stores throughout US. Same story in each store. Please read reviews and never go there. These people are criminals and should be investigated.

On July 16, I visited the store and was impressed by the products and service. I selected the pieces I liked. I took into consideration that some products may take longer to order, so I chose a less complicated sofa. I was very clear with the sales person, that my furniture needed to be delivered by Aug 8. She assured me that there was enough time, and that my furniture would be delivered on time.
My disappointment has increased since I left the store. No one bothered to communicate any status on the estimate of time of delivery. After several calls, the warehouse manager arranged a delivery of my furniture for the 9th of Aug. When I received my furniture the dining room table was reported broken, and to top it off my sofa was no where to be found. Apparently its on back order. Again, no one communicated this to me at any point. The warehouse manager (who always seams to get the back end of the deal) was helpful in giving me the truth. As for the sales associate, she has not bothered to contact me since the day she happily took the complete payment. At this point, Aug 13, I have an ugly loaner sofa, and a broken dining room table to work with until "the end of the month". I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience, I am ready to have them take this all back and go elsewhere. All I ever needed was the truth, and an exclusive furniture store to behave as such.

Promised me shipping within 3 weeks and I had to chase them when 3 weeks was up, only to be given wrong information on 4 occasions. Very frustrating. Too many calls with wrong information. Elevated to the store manager Elkin. I would've given 5 stars based on dealing with the manager. He was amazing, bent over backwards to sort out delivery of the item. Also the delivery men (who also do the fit of my item) were great, very professional and polite. I would buy from them again but choose the sales person carefully.

We bought three pieces of leather furniture. Design looked very interesting and we needed it urgently for our 10 and 11 years old grands. It started sagging in a month. Russian speaking sales person promised to replace it, as soon as they receive new on s. He continued promising for a year, hiding from us and we were left with this furniture. Nice design, but poor quality, made in China. Not honest sale persons.

The worse customer service ever if you ever order online. I have been waiting for a month on an order and it is still not here. They ask for so much verification in order to get your things shipped. They took my money, and still haven't gotten my purchase. Why? Because my shipping and billing address were different. I explained that I was moving and wanted my purchase sent to the shipping address and they refused to send it to me unless I changed my billing address with my bank. They said it was to avoid fraud, but I explained it to them in an email. My wife and I have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for a month waiting on a bed. Also, when you call the customer service for an online order, the person might have the day off. They'll tell you to call again tomorrow. I had to call dozens of times just to get a tracking number. It was call this person, call that person, call the other person, and still no help. Don't order from this site.
This is our first experience with Modern Miami,and the first time we have ordered furniture is this price category.
To say the least, from our first contact, to a very expedited delivery, the support of Miami Modern's representative, Mr. Vadim Rogashevsky was superb.
He made every discount available us, even holding over an expired one to accommodate our price point which we must say was more than competitive to any other retailer in the USA for this item, a magnificent art deco credenza!
In addition, we were kept apprised of the delivery schedule which he met to the day, AND time!
The "white glove" trucking he provided was non-parliel"[exceptional].
The delivery people were the most courteous, and patient, attending to every detail, including placement, assembly, and timeliness.
We would not hesitate to place another order with Miami Modern should the need arise.
ALL-IN-ALL, this was an outstanding purchasing experience!

Terrible customer service. No one returns your calls and many times the customer service and delivery voicemail boxes are full so you can't leave a message. Numerous delivery delays due to the delivery company is associated with LA Furniture (dealer) and they refer you back to Modern Miami.
In addition, the bed frame quality is poor and it squeeks and we are still waiting for the faulty light kit to be replaced.
Nice friendly atmosphere, helpful stuff, on time service. They called me about several times about delivery. Loved furniture! Its different and definetly modern... Very good selection. Huge store at convinient location.

I have to state that the owner response is a complete lie. Owner stated that we contacted store 1 month after delivery. In fact, we called the next day(less than 24 hrs after delivery) to report the problem. If anyone is interested we can share screenshots of our communication with the sales person showing the time and date of each message. We also documented every attempt to get someone on site as promised by the customer service. So what owner said about 1 month is simply deseption. The company itself assembled furniture and removed original boxes, so there is no way to keep them. We also took video showing how those chairs are dangerously unstable. The company is not only lacks basic customer service, but also lies to cover absence of any responsibility towards their clients. Instead of trying to address the reason for so many 1 star reviews his company received, the owner is exercising in creative writing. Good luck with that! You are going nowhere.

This company can not be trusted. My advice is to look for furniture somewhere else. If you buy furniture from a reputable store you do expect a certain level of customer service.Modern Miami furniture costumer service is simply absent. Honestly this is the first review I write, but I was so outraged about the way we were treated, that decided to share my experience. Set of bar stools that was ordered was simply defective. In fact it was a hazard to use it in the office due to lack of stability. We called the store and asked to address the issue. We spoke with multiple people, store manager told us that we someone will stop by to check the problem next day. It did not happen not the next day, not even 1 week later! Despite us calling with reminders every day! After 2 weeks of waiting, Modern Miami furniture offered us 65% refund for the furniture that was defective at time of delivery!? We decided to take it back to the store and disputed purchase via credit card instead.

This store is managed by dishonest people if not thieves. 7 months passed already and the still owe us the refund for the cancelation of 2 chairs of our order.
Aside from this big issue, it took them months to deliver the outdoor furniture when we were assured it would get in 15 days.
My husband and I are extremely angry about our experience with this company. The seller was nice and professional but their customer care , especially from Los Angeles , is the worst ever!
Two years ago they sold us a TV stand that came 3 times with scratches on and in it. MM changed it only 2 times by the end we paid for a new TV stand ruined and they didn't refund anything.
We bought there even bar-stools and chairs for our living-room, paid in advance for them but when they delivered all of those items were sold to someone else!!!
So we had to buy them in another place , more expensive and we liked less than OURS but we needed urgently ......
Then they did several phone-calls but worthless and no solution.

Do not expect what you see in the photos that this company puts on your website is what you will receive at home. It does not look like the color. The quality is terrible. If this furniture lasts six months you can feel lucky.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM MODERN MIAMI FURNITURE. IF YOU DO YOU WILL SURELY REGRET IT. The furniture looks modern and sharp in the showroom and is priced well when discounted. But when it's delivered it arrives later than promised, damaged and assembled with extremely poor craftsmanship. I recently purchased 2 pieces. We paid $99 extra for white glove delivery service What a joke. They arrived late (at least a week late) and left the furniture in a box on the floor un-assembled. When we un-boxed it we found the table glass scratched beyond repair and the glass dismounted from the frame. The second piece of furniture was a chest/dresser, that was also damaged with a dent/scratch in the lacquer and another dent on the top of the chest. We notified the company immediately and filed claims on their website. DO NOT ACCEPT DELIVERY OF MERCHANDISE IF YOU DISCOVER ANY DAMAGE. It's now over a month later and we are still awaiting refunds and replacements. I have since researched their company and they have dozens of BBB complaints on Modern Miami and L.A. Furniture Store and numerous negative reviews from other consumers that have identical situations. They too have been scammed or ripped off and lied to by Mayra & Jesper and Vadim (the Miami Salesman). Save yourself the trouble of being screwed, spend more $ elsewhere on better quality furniture or with a company that is reputable. Even Ikea is better build quality that Modern Miami and that's not saying much. They don't care about the consumer or their reputation.

Looking for realistically priced contemporary furniture we found Miami Modern by doing a Google search. We wanted to start furnishing our new apartment back in April, so we took a ride to their showroom and were immediately impressed. There were lots of styles to choose from, and our salesman, Vadim Rogachevsky was very helpful and patient. We gave him an idea of what were looking for as well as our price point. He didn't try to pressure us into buying things we weren't sure about or probably didn't need. He helped us choose the right color and style and placed our order. We explained we wouldn't be back for several months and would the store hold our purchases until we came down again. No problem, they stored our purchases for several months. Our furniture was delivered yesterday by the nicest delivery men, who unpacked and assembled our pieces. Everything came in exactly as we ordered it and we are very happy to recommend Miami Modern to everyone. Thanks.

Do not buy from here! I have been arguing with them since thanksgiving 2017 and no one will help! Our sofa was 14 days out of guarentee and it collapsed on one side! Now the other side is collapsing! No one will help me resolve this issue. They just argue round and round in circles (if they will speak to you at all) Terrible customer service. Terrible product. Sick to death of them.

I can t seem to get anyone to talk to me! Eric the manager refuses to answer my emails.The springs in my sofa have gone and now the base of the L shaped corner seems to be cracked. Do not buy from this Store!! I purchased 3 weeks ago a king size bed full set with the lamps, a Leather sofa on top of a coffee table. I gave them an advance of 5000 dollars and assured me they would deliver in 3 weeks. 3 weeks passed by and one day before the delivery, the store called to claim the rest of the money. Not only their worst sale assistant manager named "Eric " charged my card 3 times but then the manager had the audacity to call and mention that the sofa ordered never got shipped! Are you freaking kidding me? I went nut on him. To compensate, he suggested to loan me a good sofa until the one I ordered show up. The day of the delivery, not only the bed was made of cheap craft but it was a queen size instead of the King size and the sofa he loaned smaller like sex, dust and garbage.... I even had asmath from smelling it. Never call them because they know they are Wack and they will run away or never respond. What I did? I went straight to the store and did not play with them until I had my refund back! I would not even give them a one star. It is a pity because they do have beautiful items but don't fall for it. Fall back.
Many items on the floor are showing their wear. Makes you wonder about the quality. It was also very difficult to figure out what was actually available. Also, they offered discounts of 10%, then 15%, then "we can work with you" even though I never mentioned price. It was enough that I hadn't purchased anything which makes you wonder, how many thousands of dollars are they making that they could "discount?"
I ordered bedroom furniture on 12/28. Never received any type of invoice other than the PayPal transaction email. Called customer service around 1/6 to get status and they had no record of the purchase. My info was taken down for someone from corporate to call me back. I never got a call, but I received an email on 1/12 stating that my order was received and that the furniture would not be available until 2/1. I was ok with that. I still do not receive an invoice. The PayPal transaction had expired. I sent another email asking status. I was told since I did not respond, they did not order. I didn't understand why considering that the PayPal transaction was still pending at the time I received the reply on 1/12. So i was asked if I wanted to the furniture, I said yes. The C said they would send the invoice via paypal. I sent another email a week later asking for status. I was told that an invoice was sent but I did not respond. I never received any communication that an invoice was pending. It was a lie. I then asked again for them to send the invoice as well as a follow up email to confirm that an invoice was sent. These people never responded even after me sending even another status request email. The items I intended to purchase totaled over 2500(2 nightstands, dresser, and chest of drawers) Not a lot of money, but you would think these individuals would at least make the easy sell. Customer service and good business acumen is a foreign concept for this company. I will take my money St. Elsewhere.
If I can pout zero I will definitely put 0 they are very liars, I paid for all my furniture on July 14, and I received only Half of my furniture after month and a half and also wrong order . The whole package arrived only in mid-October. They said three weeks and it took 3 months. I m not recommend and they also didn t bring my one of accessory to my kitchen
Don't place an online order if you want it in a timely matter. THey may also send out the wrong furniture! CS is a pain in the butt to deal with, but if you keep hassling them eventually something may get solved. They agreed to my terms, and I am ok with it I guess. Would I order from them again? Maybe, but in person. I hear people that go in person have better luck!

Extremly bad experience. They are not upfront with lead times until after you buy it, and then you try to call and is all answering service company. Even though it says in stock, items are not in stock they take weeks to get deliver. Dont waste your time
I had a wonderful experience overall. I contacted Modern Miami to purchase a bedroom set that I saw online which I needed same day delivery. I visited the showroom and was mesmerized with all their furniture, I ended up purchasing a floor sample bedroom set that was delivered that same evening as promised. Martha my Sales Rep. came through with pricing and delivery, the staff is was very pleasant and the delivery guys were very professional and friendly. I plan to continue to furnish my home with Modern Miami.

The entire process was a fiasco! Two items of the bedroom set was delivered damaged twice. I believe they just resent the damaged goods over again. The second time the deal was to keep the items to use until new ones were sent. Then Jose in corporate in California stated that for 50% off each piece we could just keep the damaged items. I have tried to make contact with him on multiple occasions to fulfill his promise and never heard back. This company is not reputable. Run away! I wish I just went with my original choice at Scan design. It would have cost more but no aggravation! I do not recommend that you make any purchases with this company!
I never write reviews, but this place deserves 5 stars. My boyfriend and I went here yesterday to buy all new furniture for our whole apartment. We were helped by Jessica who was hands down the best salesperson I ve ever worked with. We have been talking all day about how happy we are with our experience.
The furniture is beautiful and well-made, but the real difference was Jessica. She wasn t pushy, but was always easy to ask questions to. I hate feeling like a salesperson is breathing down my neck, but I also want someone to be around so I can ask questions. She really knows her stuff and has an eye for design. She was so patient when I wanted to look at a million different options. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement. She literally made a presentation to show our choices side by side. She sent it to us with renderings she made of how it would all look. We were blown away!
If you want great service and really nice pieces, definitely come here. We liked everything so much that we ended up getting decorations like paintings too. Everything is extremely reasonably priced for the quality. I can t recommend this place enough. My boyfriend and I have agreed that we will be getting all of our furniture and decor from Modern Miami from now on, and we are recommending them to everyone.
I just purchased a leather sofa, coffeetable and credenza at Modern Miami and the delivery guys were fast in setting up the furniture and assembly. They left it all clean and the furniture look fantastic in my living room. Thank you Herbert, Dante and Vadim. Hope you guys liked the Arak!;)
Really good prices. We visited on a Sunday and Marta helped us out. She gave very good insightful suggestions without trying to upsell us. The different colors look great in our house and blend well.
I couldn't agree more with the negative comments... Do not buy your furniture here they will tell you exactly what you want to hear while buying then items are delivered broken and your order will not be deliver complete. You buy BRAND NEW items and they will ship you what they have out on the floor display hoping that you do not notice. I made a purchase of about $20k back in June. They delivered broken pieces and I am still missing items. They are quick to make you pay in full but once you place a claim they can never locate it and ask you to send it over and over again. Communication is HORRIBLE no one ever knows what is going on.
Is November now and I still do not have my complete order and I have broken pieces of furniture that have not been replaced. To make matters worst they don't even bother to call you or keep you posted on the status, I always have to call and again is like talking to the wall because no one knows anything.
As a consumer I regret giving them my business. Stay Away!!!
