Worst marriott I have ever stayed in. Reserved a king room weeks in advance for a 2 week stay. Checked in they put me in a 2 double room. Asked to move and of course nothing avaible but would call and move me when one came avaible. Never got a call. Walls are paper thin can hear everything in room next to you. Doors slam shut so you get woke up every time leaves or 3nters room on your floor. My sink kept backing up when someone above me drained there's. told the front desk nothing was done. Huge holes in the ceiling in the lobby. People enter your room without knocking. The sprinkler system flooded the hotel from the 6th floor down in the middle of the night. Maintance is still cleaning it up and that happened 6 days ago. If it wasn't company book for bussiness I would have checked out the next day. I'm a Plat member with over 209k reward points been in marriott all over the world and this is the worst one

The Hotel, Azalea Room and our room were clean. A/C pulled sufficient to hang meat (Wife has hot flashes and I have to freeze). Staff attending to our functions in the Azalea Room were most friendly and accommodating (Joe, Cleveland and Dalzell(?)). Catered food for 2 nights was excellent (Chef David). Bank of 3 elevators for the 20 story building was amazingly fast and available. Meagan and "My Love" (missed her name all weekend) in the restaurant and bar both had such positive attitudes and great smiles along with super service. Kervin was most co-operative and helpful.

This was the same Family Reunion mentioned by Deana Linda Keefer in an earlier review. I understand her concerns, being the Host. Hosting, you want everything to be right. But everyone I spoke with enjoyed the facility. in fact not having a pool may have forced family to find more adventuresome activity and go off premise (My wife says the DuckBoat ride was a hoot).

Now to what could be improved:
Attempts to make reservations to the 800 number were a trainwreck. I understand this may be a corporate problem. Then when the local number to the Hotel was distributed, people were told no rooms were available. Phone calls made seemed to clear up each case as it happened..
One family wishing to come in early on Thursday from Montgomery was told the Hotel had no vacancy. Others were booked outside our block of rooms, and the weekend front desk couldn't remedy.

This rating of 2 stars will be amended once we know the financial ramifications of the reservation and booking accounting. and run a final tally on the cost of our Family Reunion.

Whatcha See, Is what you get. I can't down the hotel, but I must bring up that the rooms smelled stale. The check in staff on 4/6/18 in the after-noon are absolute GOD sends. If I could take each one and place in the other places around the hotel..It would be nice. I read that the hotel will be doing some much needed renovations. I agree. Good luck with the change.

Hotels in a good location near the airport and the mall. Hotel has a very good fitness center, and the Concierge Lounge on the 5th floor is nice. Building is a high-rise with 15 floors. There is also an airport shuttle and internet is free.

We stay here every year we visit Mobile Al and everywhere we go we choose Marriott but they failed to let us know that they do not have a pool due to renovations, not will they have one in the future, kids were very devastated.

Good hotel. I would have 5 stars, but it is a older hotel. Hotel was clean, and staff were great. We stayed for a cruise leaving Mobile, and shuttle driver was great getting us to and from port.

Staff is excellent, the rooms are pretty terrible. The AC rattles everytime it turns on, you can hear everything going on around you, whether it's people talking, the vacuum, or the construction outside.

My husband and I recently stayed at this location 6/23/2018 for ONE night. I made my reservation online on 6/16/2018 with my credit card. When we were checking in on 6/23 I asked if I could use my debit card instead of the charges hitting my credit card. The desk clerk said "SURE, NO PROBLEM". The next morning I checked my checking account and there was a hold for $1000.00. Yes, ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. I immediately went to the front desk to inquire about the charges and the desk clerk said "Oh yes, the clerk the night before left a message that she made an error when keying in your debit card information. Don't worry, the charges will be returned to your checking account within 4-5 business days". He rushed me away and said for me to contact the General Manager. My biggest issue with this is the fact that the staff knew of this $1000 error and not one person took responsibility and tried to contact me. Did they not think I wouldn't notice this $1000 error. I reached out to the General Manager she was sympathetic but in the end there is nothing I can do except wait the 4-5 business days for the funds to be returned to my bank. TOTAL NIGHTMARE, DO NOT STAY HERE - KEEP LOOKING!!!!!!!

The room was comfortable and the staff was lovely. We ate at the restaurant and the food was decent. I love Marriott beds. I felt that the bathroom was a bit small, but it wasn't a problem. There was a small fridge, but no microwave.

Good location with a great view. The staff from the management, to the front desk, all the way around is friendly and accommodating. Comfortable need a with good pillows. Only complaint is the extra small bathrooms, not a whole lot of movement in there.

The bathroom had the nicest shower I've had in a long time at a hotel, lots of water pressure and the hot water didn't run out either!

They have tons of parking, a nice outdoor patio and friendly staff.

Hotel staff very polite and kind. The hotel itself however is horrible. My sheets were dirty and it has a horrid smell. There's one microwave in the hotel, which is in the lobby and it was filthy!
