My experience here was truly great! I went shopping around the Jewelry Center for quite some time and when I stopped by Jewel House Ramy and Vicki were by far the most honest and caring people I met on my journey. I have decided to make Jewel House my go to Jeweler with any order because of the outstanding service that was provided to me!
My experience with Jewel House is very different than what's been written. I felt compelled to write a review. This is my first ever review for Yelp.
I have purchased many pieces from Jewel House over the 20+ years, and have had nothing but good experience. And I've never lost a stone out of any of their settings. I've purchased rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings, and never had one stone fall out. I've had jewelry made or redesigned to maximize the brilliance of a setting with stones purchased from them. They are very flexible if you have an idea they'll help you execute.
I find Vicky to be very professional, and anxious to help. Rami is the same, just a little more assertive. I like that they trade-in pieces so I can change and update styles to the latest settings (halo, etc.). Where else can you wear something for five years or more, and then return for the same price you paid or more, as you upgrade? I find the quality of the stones exceeds most fine jewelry stores (VVSI), and that is very important to me. I only buy quality jewelry. Lastly, Rami is the "negotiator". He works with me on the prices so he makes money, and I'm happy knowing the value I've gotten compared with other stores. He shows he wants me as a long term customer.
I do trust Jewel House or I wouldn't do business with them. I don't buy a lot, but when I go I know they will be there after 20 plus years. They must have more satisfied customers to be able to stay in business this long in a very competitive industry (jewelry). I have been shopping downtown and have seen the BIG changes in vendors and jewelry over the years and am glad I can buy from a "jewel" among them.

Great company with impeccable service and quality. I truly enjoyed shopping there and purchasing an amazing piece. The people were great and I love my new bracelet! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Horrible Nightmare! These people travel to "Jewelry Shows" and setup booths where they sell their crappy jewelry.
I made the huge mistake of purchasing a diamond engagement ring here for my now Wife. We had to return the ring SIX TIMES because small stones kept falling out. Each time they replaced the small stones but the replacement stones were of "OFF" color, not very bright or sparkly. After the SIXTH time, we decided that it was going to keep happening, so we upgraded to a nicer setting. AGAIN, with the nicer setting, smaller stones kept falling out!! After two more times we finally gave up. They would not give us our money back.
I dealt a lot with "Rami". I do not trust this man. He blamed US for the diamonds falling out! Both rings looked pretty but were poorly constructed, probably made in China.
Anyways, we sold the ring to a pawn shop and moved on, hopefully never to have to deal with the Jewel House again. Please DO NOT make the same mistake I did. The Jewel House of Los Angeles, CA is not to be trusted. Do not give them any money. Do not even give them a second glance!
