I attended the Orchid Show and it was stunning. I had no idea what to expect and let me tell you, it was a show stopper. I enjoyed walking around, reading, learning and enjoying the many gorgeous orchid that were on display. An afternoon well deserving of your time to see them. Go, you will not be disappointed.

The pictures below are only a few of the many gorgeous orchid to look at. The name of the Orchid is posted first, then the Orchid itself to view. Enjoy!

Great place to bring our children to play. They have a great childrens section and with a friends and family membership it is included. Otherwise it is an additional fee. I personally like seeing what is blooming during a period that our property does not have any plants with blooms. Then I can figure out how to fill the void so I have interest in my yard as many months as possible.

Missouri's Botanical Garden is really big and beautiful. The people are not so nice. Once I was going to the Children's Garden and we asked a question about where the Chinese Garden was and she just ignored us! Most of the other people are really nice, but some aren t. I would highly recommend it still. It s gorgeous and I would give it a 4.5

A beautiful place to visit with wonderful staff and volunteers! We enjoyed the free 219th birthday celebration for Shaw and will definitely be back on another visit soon! Plenty of space to walk, family and stroller friendly, and restrooms available and easily accessible to all throughout. Also a free splash area in addition to the one in the children's garden and many children's activities offered!

I have been a member here for several years. I visit here to relax and connect with nature all the time. It is one of my favorite places to walk in Saint Louis all throughout the year. I love taking pics of the garden in all its blooming glory as it changes throughout the seasons. Excited about the remodel of the visitor center, which I believe will be a great addition. Can't wait for everything to be fully open in the future. A true gem to the St. Louis community. Come visit and I am sure you will not be disappointed. You will find a few surprises and maybe even a few hidden treasures if you look closely.

The covid regulations are overwhelming the beauty of the gardens. I wouldn't waste your money until after they start to chill out a bit. Huge sections were closed including all the buildings, so I'd see something cool, only to walk over and see that it was closed. Masks were required even outside in areas where there was no one else. All the water fountains were closed, but with no options nearby to purchase drinks, which on a hot day is a recipe for dehydration. I was really annoyed by the whole experience and felt that I couldn't enjoy the gorgeous gardens.

This garden has so much to offer. We went when about a third of the garden was closed d/t COVID-19 and renovations - I can't imagine how long it would have taken if we were able to go through the whole garden. I'll be back next Spring!

This is one of St. Louis's finest attractions. It is beautiful year round and they have expanded the docket of events. Garden glow and the orchid show are two of our family's favorites. Unlike other St. Louis attractions, the gardens do cost money, but it is reasonable and memberships come with several perks including free guest passes.

Pandemic MBG is only better than not having any access to this wondeful space.

My arthritis prevents me from walking the full circle thru the Garden.
So, I boarded the tram intending to be dropped off at the furthest end of the garden.
When we arrived there I asked to disembark from the tram so I could take my time walking back to leave.
I was told they make no stops.

I understand in the time of Covid they don't want to have folks load into empty places on the tram once others have departed.
But I don't get not letting anyone off.

Lunch quiche costs the same as quiche plus salad in the past. I understand they wouldn't want to serve salad during these times.
But wish they could have included a bag of chips.

My visit became very limited to the range over which I could walk. I experienced only 20% of the pleasure I had always previously derived from being here.

Will have to think about returning.

Awesome gardens, lots of great variety. Worth the trip if you are in town. The tickets are cheaper if you are a St. Louis resident. Also they host some free music events during the summer that is worth checking out. Parking can be a little tricky as it can get full quite quickly.
