The hotel is beautiful, but the plugs in my room were loose making it hard to charge all of my photography gear. On top of that I looked up at the ceiling in my room and it was filled with mosquitos! In the morning the mosquitos were all by the window and it was just unpleasant. I payed close to 400$ for one night and to have this experience, I'm not happy at all.

Friends of ours got engaged 20 min prior on our bike ride. We stopped here for a celebratory cocktail. The manager found out and brought out a bottle of champagne for the table and one of the servers came out and sang to the table. What a great, hospitable establishment! The food was also great. Hopefully they get Traverse City Whiskey on their menu soon!

Amateur hour! Stayed this weekend and expected a lot more per the add and website. Hotel wasn't fully open, there was no spa or salon, there wasnt a coffee house on Friday or Saturday, there was no hot tub. Staff was inexperienced at best from breakfast to mixing drinks and making coffee. Was going to give feedback in person but no one asked during checkout. Hotel is dated. Should have stayed in a B&B. Per Sarah's comments below - it's now 5/21/2019 and I haven't heard anything from the hotel operations manager? Wow.

DESMOND JONES deserves to be management If he is not already.

My stay in general was wonderful, chianti s food was good. Service was kind and drinks were well made.

However, the shining review comes from the actions of tamika at the front counter and Desmond at the bell hop desk.

I was on the ferry leaving and realized I forgot my clothes in the closet- feeling stupid I called the front desk and tamika made sure I felt heard and went to check on getting my clothes for me.

Eventually she called to tel me they would come on the next ferry about 1030-11, I panicked because I knew I needed to leave so she asked Desmond if someone could take my things over.

THIS MEANT HE HAD TO OF BIKED MY CLOTHES TO THE Pier.

He did NOT have to do it and not only did he do it but he happily spoke to me and ensured me it was on the ferry once he got back. Above and beyond duty- show of real character and customer service.

MR JONES, I thank you. (From, Mrs. Katie jones)
