This hotel, long in the tooth, has been working pretty hard to improve over the last three or four years. They have now reached the point where they are getting close to being a place where you could actually have a deluxe respite on a beautiful golf course. Accolades to them for taking some of these comments seriously. Not five stars, but a solid four. Rooms still need a pretty solid good refresh, but they are acceptable. Keep it coming!

The facility appears to be beautiful and the service staff are very pleasant. I had dinner at La margaritas and both the appetizer and meal were excellent. They did not exhibit a great selection of beer, however. Both the regular bar (Nickers) and the pool bar closed very early in my opinion. Keep in mind this IS during off season on a week night, however.

My step son has traveled the world. He came to town for a wedding, he asked where to stay and I said The Mission Inn would be perfect! Well I was wrong, after a long flight in and a 40 minute drive up, he went to his room and found FECES on the toilet and hair on the floor! Not even a decent apology for such a horrible experience! I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone! I am appalled by this experience!

Went to golf course for corp. tournament on a Saturday morning. 8:00 am scramble. The staff for the golf course were very organized and friendly. The course was in exceptional condition. Some of the best views and course conditions I've ever seen or played. As for the reception afterwards, exceptional as well. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious and plentiful. Facility was very clean and well maintained. Can't wait to go back. BTW #1 public course in Florida and #2 in the nation. Family owned for 50 plus years.

Not worth the money. Resort wants to be upscale but misses the mark. Hotel bathrooms full of mildew. We had 2 rooms, both bathrooms the same. One room found live roach!! The maids rude and not up to upscale standards. We also had dinner at El Conquistador. Not worth the prices as service was horrible. Better off going off site for food.

Nice atmosphere. Not impressed that head waitress didn't get up from folding napkins to seat us. She just said we can sit anywhere. The waitress for our table, however, was much more attentive. The buffet when we first arrived was slightly picked over. Midway through it did look like fresh items had been placed on the buffet. Cook doing omelette station today should be rewarded as one of the club members was rather barkishly was talking down to her. My husband td me and I felt really bad for her.

We stayed at this "resort" for a large event. They did not try to keep our group in the same building (and this is a rather spread out facility). My husband and I had to walk 100 yards from the parking lot to our room, past a water fountain that was pretty, but would spray us depending on the wind. One of the gathering spaces smelled musty and moldy and was dripping water from the ceiling. The banquet food was so-so: salmon looked and tasted like chicken. They seemed to forget about one of our events - not bringing coffee until we asked for it (late); not clearing the space from a prior group event and never bringing water. Non-group people (resort employees and other guests) walked though our event room. A friend of ours had her pants ruined because she walked on the sidewalk on a Saturday, through what looked like water, but it had bleach in it. Our bathroom tub did not drain, and the faucet had gaps and was not fully secured to the wall. The grounds are beautiful, but the buildings seem neglected. Not worth the $192 (discounted rate) we paid per night.

I came to Mission Inn to attend a friend's tasting and loved every minute of it. I was greeted promptly upon arriving and waited for my friend. The wedding coordinator Amy was very friendly and helpful with explaining the options to my friend and the food was absolutely phenomenal.

Went here for Easter breakfast which was in the conference center/ballroom off to the side and not in the restaurant, which offers a nice view of the golf course. Food was buffet style with an omelette bar but again the lack of ambiance made the experience rather drab and there were limited staff as well to answer any questions.

A very nicely maintained property with a beautiful golf course. The facilities are older but everything is very well kept and clean. It's located in howey in the hills, Florida. The customer service is good but could be better. Not a bad place to visit if you like to golf.

I was attending a wedding here and everything was wonderful, the grounds are beautiful and the wedding was gorgeous. I would like to come out at some point for one of their Sunday brunches, but it looks very expensive and I fear I would be the youngest person attending.

Marina facility was nice overall. No WiFi. Bathrooms are about 100 feet away in an adjacent building, making weather an issue if timing is inopportune. Parking is ample. Lake view is serene. Poorly lit interior for reading paperwork.

I wasn't able get to sleep until early in the morning due to the noise from banging doors and loud guests who I presume where from the wedding and other parties going on. Really need to invest in sound abatement. Staff was friendly.

Excellent! Upscale with all the trimmings. The Sunday 'all you care to eat' champayne buffet is excellent, from the food to the staff to the music. Plenty of parking including disabled bays with wheelchair access.
A wonderful resort with plenty of facilities.

This was our first time to visit Mission Inn Resort ; combination of celebrating friend's birthday and a golf outing. The resort is located in a little slice of "Old Florida" with beautiful mature trees, immaculate manicured flowering bushes, and superb golf courses. The Spanish style buildings, fountains and courtyards add to its charm . Everyone who worked there were friendly and attentive to our needs. The guest rooms themselves are a "basic" type hotel room , nothing luxurious. However, they were immaculate and had great screened balconies with terrific views. The beds & pillows were very comfy and we were pleased with how quiet they were (enjoyed a great night's sleep). Only thing we were expecting as "standard" these days in hotel rooms was a mini fridge . We would definitely return another time as there's lots to do at the resort besides golf.

Atmosphere was excellent. The selections from the buffet were OK. It's been a few years since I've visited La Hacienda restaurant and I was quite shocked at the price of lunch, $19 per person for serve yourself buffet. Definitely won't be going there for lunch again.

This place was nice in the 1970's!! The drive into golf course and the driving range were the best. The golf course has no flow and was poorly maintained. Worst golf course of our trip. I would not return here

Our foursome had a great weekend golf trip at Mission Inn. Both courses (El Campeon and Las Colinas) were in fabulous condition. The rooms are a little dated but the lobby and restaurants have been upgraded. The food and service was better than expected. Mike from the hotel was incredible. He made us feel welcomed during our entire stay. Our group will definitely return.

Played El Campeon and it lived up to it's billing and my expectations! Pro shop and starter very efficient. Would have to say it's the toughest track I played on this trip to Florida, but a really fair test. Intimidating on the tee box but a well placed shot is rewarded with a line to the green. A lot hillier than I expected too, which was a welcome surprise after playing typically flat resort courses on the sunshine coast. Pin placements were pretty testing with the majority being at the front of greens meaning a precise approach shot was required or otherwise the slopes took your ball away from the putting surface. Found the greens a lovely challenge, not too much slope and a great pace and roll. All in all a highly recommended golfing experience.

Who ever complained about the rooms is a dweeb. It's Florida, the Ants and Palmetto bugs get into 5 star hotels. I go there about 10 times a year. Cant say enough about how great it is. If you need a reference call me. Tiny's Auto Repair Daytona Beach.

We stayed at the Mission Inn in Oct. 2017. It is a beautiful place, and we had a lovely time. The hotel staff was wonderful-- friendly and very helpful-- even after we left. I called there after we returned home, to inquire about a blouse that perhaps was left in the closet. We received first class service from Laurie, who was so attentive and willing to help search, calling me a few times after she had checked and double-checked. In spite of the fact that it was not found, I remain grateful for the first class service I received not only during my visit, but after!

My husband and I stayed overnight for a wedding reception held on site. Our room was large and the view was spectacular.
We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the near future. The property is very scenic and looks to be a wonderful place for those interested in golf!

Breathtaking grounds, exceptional hospitality, the food was on the lines of your hometown favs, and the rooms were clean and comfy. Highly recommend for a get-away, business, retreat, and weddings for sure. From the spa, to golfing, to sone time on the water. I cannot think of a thing that I would change.

Grounds are gorgeous. Golf course is spectacular. Front desk service was subpar. Some floors were loud due to partying guests. We don't suggest lunch in the main clubhouse- took 45mins for standard lunch items and burnt my "medium" burger.

The front desk is very friendly and helpful. My room is perfect. We are at La Margarita and Kickers for dinner and drinks. You have to try the sushi, crab legs and prime rib all you can eat buffet at Kickers.

My husband and his crews as well as many other lineman traveled to Florida to restore power to millions of people in one of the largest power outages in US history. They were staying at Mission Inn resort while they were there. Well yesterday after a 16 hour day, getting back to the resort at 10pm the managers of the hotel came to them and told them that are not "high class" enough to stay at their resort and that there appearance did not fit in there. These men have traveled 20 hours to get to Florida to restore power and help those in need. Leaving their families behind and risking their life. If you decide to stay here just take a minute to realize what kind of people run this resort. If it wasn't for them you wouldn't have customers right now. You would be loosing thousands of dollars due to power outages.

Yours Truly,
