Prices are generally quite competitive here, perhaps because the vendors also have to face competition from other vendors in the Mission.

Or perhaps because they also cater to students, this market offers some of the best value you can find. Even if you don't attend City College, the market is still easily accessible by public transit.

One of the few markets that have more than one single egg vendors.

Note that this market is NOT year-round, but when it is open, I recommend paying a visit to see if you like what they have to offer. Being in the Mission, food choices are aplenty, just a few blocks away from the Market.

It's always a good time at the farmers market. The fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, nuts, honey, oils, stones, flowers , live music, & food you can take home fresh prepared by local hands has become a staple in my weekly schedule of things to do in my city on Thursday afternoons from 4pm until 8pm. Cone one & all. It's family friendly so rowdies be mindful & simply chill. Your pets are welcome as well with a stand dedicated to all their needs.

This humble weekly farmers market is a piece of history in the making and an example of how community organizing can have beneficial effects for the neighborhood and facilitate peaceful integration of local farmers, local crafts people and artists, small business owners and large scale developers - new migrants and families who have been residing in the area for generations.

Everyone is welcome in the newly transformed section of Bartlett street. Every Thursday - join in for love performances, food trucks, jewelry, fresh produce, and neighborly spirit for young and old alike.
