Great, affordable resource for limited income people that need to have their pet sterilized. They do book out quite far so make appointments as soon as you can.

My experience at MN SNAP was a good one, bringing two female barn cats there. We had to schedule six weeks in advance, signing a release of liability online. We were checked in right on time with the help of their friendly staff standing outside (where there is street parking) and inside. They found ear mites on my cats and I received a call asking for permission to treat them at $15 a piece, and I agreed to that. They called again two hours after I dropped them off saying my cats would be ready to go in an hour. We picked them up, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that pain meds (for post-surgery) were also included in the price. My cats recovered nicely, and they now have tattoos on their bellies and a one snipped ear. At $75 each for spay, rabies vaccine, and treatment of ear mites, this service was less than one fourth of the price the local vet charges. A win-win for our family! Highly recommended.

They took my cat for neutering even though I came on the wrong day..very grateful..but when I went back to check on him lady at the fro t desk was kinda rude.

Yes, it is a bit out of the way. Yes, you will have to wait with your pet in your car until they are ready for your entry. *Hint: park across the street if it is crowded! Register, wait in your car. You won't be forgotten!* Yes, you will have caring, loving treatment for your pet friend. Do it! If you can't make it one day...call and make another appointment! It is for every pet! Give your pet the medical treatment it deserves

This is such an excellent service for people with multiple animals and/or limited means- very easy and intuitive to use website, amazing and skilled veterinarians with very supportive and understanding staff AND volunteers. Highly recommend if you or anyone you know needs help with sterilizing and vaccinating animals. They rock! Keep up the fantastic work!!! Also, they are working 7 days a week to help the community with animals so if you have the ability to donate or purchase from them, please consider doing so.

Great place for Low income people to get there pets fixed

Absolutely wonderful people. The vets and techs take such care of my animals that they have little pain or discomfort after being fixed. Their prices make it possible for low income people to have and properly care for their pets. I cant say enough good things about the service, staff, and results

affordable, convenient, and safe services. I arrived at 9:30 to drop my cat off to be neutered. took 20ish mins til I was checked in. recieved a phone call that hed be ready at 6. they were only dealing with one person at a time and everyone was wearing masks.

I took my cat it to be fixed. Super clean, hardworking staff!! Even though it was busy they took time to ask everyone about their specific pet. The surgery on my cat went great, the surgery site is very clean, not red gave couple doses of pain meds for my kitty. "Honestly I don't even think my cat knows what happened lol the day after she was back to her old naughty self "

I couldn't be more pleased. These folks are so kind and efficient. My anxiety melted away when I left my pups in their capable hands. A seamless experience, with my babies healing impressively fast!

I waited at the address given to me for 45 minutes and no one showed. I called again and was told to go to a different location that wasn t even listed when I originally signed up. I waited for 2 hours for a spot I knew was open (There was another customer that told me she didn t bring as many cats as she registered for) and they still turned me away.

Been going here for decades. Great ppl. The staff has been here. We trust them with the lives of our family. Definitely a good place.

Years ago, I found out the hard way, there is no such thing as a "FREE" kitten. Thank God for SNAP. They make being a responsible pet owner so much easier for low income households.
My kitty was microchipped, vaccinated & Spayed, all for $110! The day after surgery, my cat was back to her playful self. She didn't even need the 2nd dose of pain medication that they sent her home with.

The Minneapolis 2822 Washington Avenue North Location everyone there was Awesome. They took excellent care of Vader made sure he was comfortable during all they did. If you need any help with your fur babies great place to take them.

My experience here was great! I didn't bring the right tax form and they said don't sweat it and let me text it to the vet tech checking people in. The procedure was uneventful, and my cat it great! I got a cat spay, 2 sets of shots and a microchip with registration and it only cost me $110! I was quoted around $500-$600 at most vet clinics I checked with.

During this time of covid they have managed to maintain a very efficient and low cost process. It's vital and very necessary to spay and neuter your pets. Your local vet that charges you $300.00 actually defeats their own service. Friendly, quick, professional without throwing you further into poverty. Oh yeah - Medically sound veterinary services.

I got there and there was a huge line. I had to wait for like 25 minutes to turn in one paper. I talked to the check in lady for MAYBE 1 minute. They are a good organization but the intake process was pretty inconvenient.

They're the best by far. Excellent staff and very caring . My dog received a donated distemper shot that I didn't have enough money for the day of her surgery. I also left a $5.00 donation. I'm forever grateful of MN SNAP. I wouldn't mind volunteering there as well. Thank you from our hearts . MN SNAP YOU'RE THE BEST

My cat, JLO, got spayed here recently and it was a great experience! Very smooth process.

They were so friendly! I was nervous, as this was the first time having a pet and getting them fixed. They informed me of the process when I got there and they kept me informed of when they got out of surgery and how they were doing. I took my second cat there a different date and it went just as smoothly. Thank you!! I would recommend them for sure.
