Minneapolis Marriott Northwest Review

Really nice hotel, great bar and staff. Bartenders were a little grouchy.

Very nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and professional. but I give them 4 stars because there was no microwaves in the room, and this was because they had a restaurant downstairs and did not want people to be able to microwave. The only microwave they had was in a store that was located in the very back of the hotel.

I expected the hotel to be better. It is unlike any hotel I have ever been to. The setup of the rooms is weird because the bathroom is between the bedroom and another room which I don't really like. Also the bathroom and front doors are the only ones that lock.

The basic rooms are so good. You get your own mini living room and you also get 2 queen sized brds. The staff are also very respectful and courteous.

Love this hotel! It was unique compared to other Marriotts with all suite rooms. Would definitely recommend it.

Clean spcious rooms and great customer service. The view isn't too bad considering the location.

Stained lampshades and sheets. Pubic hair in the shower. Long black hairs all over and not from me. Was charges $55 for breakfast on the room... Really by who?? Definitely wasn't me??

Very nice hotel. Usually I like to stay closer to the city, but this hotel may have changed my mind. It was very clean and the service was phenomenal. I travel a lot and have seen a lot of hotels and this is by far one of my favorites.

Was told "no wi-fi", no complimentary breakfast. Kids allowed to run up and down walkways with complete abandon and plenty of noise !!

I was at the Marriott for a weekend conference. The conference room was clean, but the bathrooms were not very clean (even though it wasn't that busy there). Looks like it is time for updates at this location. Quality of food served by Marriott staff was good and staff were attentive to the needs of the guests.

Renovations make this place look much better. My 4 stars is more like 41/2 stars. Beds are way too soft for my taste. But, to each their own

Found old food in the mini fridge as well as some on the floor next to my bed. The cleaning services are hit or miss. But the front desk staff and shuttle staff are friendly.

The hotel is very well kept. The customer service was very good as well. All staff was welcoming and polite. We will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for the weekend, and had a pleasant experience overall. As soon as I walked in, I was surprised by the lobby, and which was an open space where you can see the walkway outside of the rooms, which circle the building. It has 8 stories. The check-in process was tarrible. I came as part of a convention, and although all the details were already decided, It took at least an hour. My room was on the 4th floor, and I and the 4 glass elevators never had a problem with overcrowding. The room was big, with a living room that had two chairs and a couch that pulled out into a bed. The bathroom was fairly sized, and the shower had good water pressure and temperature. The bedroom was normal size, with a LG TV, just like the living room. The one in the bedroom has hdmi and USB connections, among others. One problem was the outlets, which all had different voltage and ampage, making it difficult to find the right outlet. The beds were average, but were clean. Now onto the hotel. It has a gift shop with candy, ice-cream, snacks, and a microwave (which was absent from the room.). The front desk employees were nice, and let me make popcorn in there microwave. The pool is small, but and only goes to 5ft. There is also no hot tub, and the pool closes at 9. Next to it is a fitness center, which is open 24/7. Over all, the hotel was very good, although the slow check-in and small pool prevented it earning a 5 star rating. I definitely recommend.

Our favorite place for a nightly get away. Wonderful rooms that are a better price than any other place we have ever stayed in the cities. Friendly staff and an all around wonderful atmosphere. Love this hidden gem!

Because, it was so clean and neat. What you needed was already there set up in the rooms for the stay. And there is a pool an exercise room. :)

The rooms felt a little out dated and for the price of the rooms not having free WiFi is ridiculous.

Only was in the convention space. Lots of rooms to hold speakers. Good projection system and I like the different hall options. Also was provided with awesome snacks and things to drink!

The staff here is wonderful. I came with a one year old, and everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful facility. Only downside is that breakfast and wifi aren't free.

Great location, just a few miles from my work. The facilities were clean and welcoming. The food was good but not great. Some of it (coconut shrimp) was overcooked.

Such a great hotel! Very clean, comfortable, and modern. I'll be going back just to relax. The fitness center is great and the staff were friendly.

Pros: Amazing staff, the restaurant has fantastic food, there is an indoor pool and a fitness room. The meeting rooms are impeccable and the service is 5+ stars in EVERY department! If you are planning an event, you won't be disappointed with this hotel - they go above and beyond every time.

Has a bar and restaurant on-site that's open later than most MN restaurants. The rooms are large with plenty of space for unwinding.

This was my second stay here. I'm very impressed with the hotel. The beds are very comfortable but for a short person with a disability was challenging to get in and out the bed. Overall I would definitely come back!

I was in there for a business seminar. It was a very large room and plenty of room for over 300 people. The entrance was clean and very nice

Excellent conference space and supportive staff made for a smooth training day with our group of 25. Catering was responsive and provided wonderful breakfast and lunch.as well as morning and afternoon snack items, including Caribou Coffee.

Attentive and polite staff during event. I've been to several professional banquets and event with no issues as far as venue or staff.

The inside was a little old fashion for my liking but the see through elevators were pretty awesome.

Big suites for rooms, friendly service. Housekeeping walked into my room with a privacy notice clearly on the doorhandle.

We went for Easter brunch and had a good time. The food was good, the decorations tasteful and the service friendly.

What a nice place to spend a night. Very nice inside and treated like royalty.

This place USE to be amazing , when it the old place , it had a great first class sea food buffet , but after new owner took over , it look like they got rid of the buffet and turn it into a motel 6 breakfast place, the once amazing kitchen grill have been replace with a tiny store that even a regular 7 eleven would beat.
So sad
