Consistently fantastic food and service. One of my family s favorite restaurants when in Uptown Charlotte. We drive the hour round trip just for the Parmesan truffle fries and mimosa tea- best around!

Darn good hamburger and Kevin at the bar was awesome! I will go back when there for work next time. The atmosphere is really welcoming and it is easy to be in a booth and feel isolated if that is your thing. Highly recommend!

We made a reservation for 6 for 5 pm last night, arriving 5-10 minutes early to settle before our guests planned to join us. The host (a young man) rudely refused to seat us, brusquely informing us that if our party were not there promptly at 5 pm he would not hold the reservation. We were stunned. The tone was so rude, so condescending, we promptly called La Belle Helene (across the street) and secured a reservation there for 5:30 pm. Our guests arrived a few minutes later, and we made the short walk over to La Belle Helene, where they greeted us warmly and seated us promptly. We enjoyed a perfectly executed dinner, two bottles of their outstanding wine, coupled with attentive service. As for Mimosa, we had a reservation set for next month... which we are canceling.

The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. My cousin and I went in for brunch with no reservation and was seated in a decent time frame considering it was Valentine's day. Kevin was our waiter and he made sure we had everything we asked for and drink stayed full. Will definitely be returning.

This was a very tasteful and pleasant experience. They were able to change our reservation last minute and did it with a smile on their face. I had the chicken dish which could have fed a family of four, but let me tell you... it was the best fried chicken I ve ever had. I grew up in the south and this is something to be beat! The staff was great and quick. It s a great place for a celebration.

Will say I was a bit disappointed... Went for lunch meeting and sat outside. Service was fine, but food was unremarkable and with other reviews I was maybe expecting too much. I had Waygu beef and it was over cooked (asked for medium rare) and optioned for creamed spinach instead of potatoes and this spinach had more other stuff in it than spinach. I guess when things are slow you reduce to equate.

The Wagyu steak (pictured) was literally one of the best dishes I ve ever had. Went here on a whim and so glad we did. The cocktails offered are really good, they don t cheap out on the alcohol. Friendly staff that was attentive and friendly. Easily worth the visit if you re in town and nearby.

My husband and I had the opportunity to dine at the Mimosa Grill one time and unfortunately that will be our last due the RUDE and INCOMPETENT staff. After dinning we went to book a party/reception with them for May 22nd. I began corresponding in February with their Senior Catering Director Diana Swanson.

After a few emails I was sent a link to a guest portal and assumed that the reservations had been made. After reaching back out and not getting response, I called multiple times and followed up with an email. This is when I should have noticed a red flag. After several calls and emails I never heard back from Diana, I decided to check the guest portal which I wish could post here that had the time and number of guest booked, looking as though she had indeed booked us.

On the Day of May 22nd at 7pm; which was supposed to be a beautiful day, my Husband And my Union ceremony dinner was ruined by an ARGUMENTATIVE and DISRESPECTFUL manager who revealed to me that we would not be served because they did have us scheduled. He then went back and forth with me and demanded I send him the emails from Diana as if I was a child and the lack of communication and organization was my fault. It got so bad that my husband had me hang up because he couldn t stand to hear take verbal abuse over the phone as he drove.

There was NEVER an apology offered for an obvious issue with the Catering Director being able to do her job or his tone and I was left going back and forth with him rather than him calmly offering any sort of explanation or an accommodation. We had 45 ppl scheduled with 25 traveling to dine. We ended up going to The Southern Pecan in the South Park Area who already had 200 on the books but saved the day. Working in the industry of service you never argue with a customer even if it was my fault you fall on the sword and keep your composure. I was left in tears and overwhelmed. I would encourage retraining management on conflict resolution and compassion. I understand that on a Saturday that you all were probably busy and quite possibly understaffed but learn how to speak to people I recommend Crucial Conversations it s a great read

Our experience has nothing to do with our server who was excellent. My wife and I ordered our food and patiently waited for our entrees to arrive. Another couple closet to our table ended up with our food on their table, which they were questioning immediately they were set down. The lady delivering kindly apologized and removed those entrees to head back to the kitchen. What she did though, was walk a big circle back toward the kitchen and then came by our table to place the same entrees at our table, as if we did not notice the interaction just moments before.

Everyone makes mistakes but the right approach to this would have been just a simple apology to us for an added delay and then comping a thing or two off our bill.

Our cocktails were comped at the end, but our brains were honestly spinning at the thought of what else could be going on behind the kitchen that would not meet food safety standards. Did they really prepare a new dish for both of us? Ultimately, not a dining experience to be expected anywhere much less a spot where our bill was $100.
