The patty melt burgers were average. The mushroom truffle burger was outstanding. Onion rings were good. Caesar salad was good. The Greek salad was tasty, but they just put huge chunks of feta, tomato wedges, whole pepporcini....all of which needed to be cut with knife and fork down to bite size pieces. The service was average.

Great old school Chicago atmosphere. Beautiful older gentlemen in suits greet you and politely make you feel welcome. Dark wooden structures and stained glass everywhere. Servers in bow ties who take their job seriously. Great prices especially for Chicago. The service was courteous, polite, and attentive. The food was outstanding! I was thinking steak but at the last minute went with the BBQ burger. NOT disappointed - one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time! Delicious to the last bite - I was still going MMmmmm. We had a massive Bob double stroller that they were super gracious about letting us leave up front. My son started feeling bad so we had to leave quickly and our server was so kind and helpful. I'm a fan and next time I'm back in Chicago THIS is on my list of definite returns. Highly recommended especially for families. Bar area looked cool but wasn't able to participate. Cheers!

Our first time here and we will definitely be back! Wonderful atmosphere, a great place to gather with friends! We got the spinach and artichoke dip and it was some of the best I've ever had! The main food was also fabulous! Between us we had the ribs which are so amazing they fall off the bone, the mushroom truffle burger is full of flavour and so moist, lamb roast that is also delicious and the steak sandwich practicality melted in my mouth! It's definitely been a wonderful experience

The first striking thing about this pub was the decor. The ambiance and decor go a long way in elevating the experience at this pub. There's a lot to digest in terms of beer selection, I was recommended a blonde IPA that hit the spot perfectly. The person I was with had the Miller martini which was described as being the best they've ever had. Period. The food was excellent, I had the ribs, fries and coleslaw and it was all perfectly cooked and flavorful. The icing on the cake was our server Jeff! What a hero! He made the whole night way better and the night would not have been as memorable without him, a standard for servers to reach towards. All the elements combined yielded an outstanding night out at this pub and I would easily recommend it to anyone.

Classic Chicago staple, once was the meeting place of golden era movie stars and entertainers. From Marilyn Monroe to Frank Sinatra, the history is rich. That charm is alive and well today. It is still family owned and operated. Last time I was there got to sit down with one of the owners and talk about the history of the place. Definitely check it out if you are a local or traveling through!

There is something about this place that screams old school Chicago to me. Dark wood. Classy looking bartenders. Nice cocktails, great beer selection. You have to go around Thanksgiving-Christmas time and try a Tom & Jerry -- imagine a boozier, warm, so-winter-perfect eggnog.

So lucky to have found Miller's Pub on our first visit to the Spanish consolate in 1998. Today we took a three hour detour from a straight shot home in the UP and stayed in a $400 hotel with a visit to Miller's as our goal

Poor pub fare at best. Did get food poisoning, which didn't help matters. Also watched a waitress over serve this clearly hammered couple w their two kids, which the wife spanked repeatedly when they interrupted her doing shots. Friend's fish and chips also pretty obviously from frozen. Good beer selection though.

This has traditionally been my go-to spot for a Tom & Jerry when the weather is cold. I love the traditional neighborhood sports pub look with the dark wood and large old-school mirror behind the bar. Unfortunately the last few times I visited the staff were surprisingly and unnecessarily rude, which means I may have to find a new tradition.

My boyfriend and I came here just for dessert and we were impressed. It has an old school atmosphere and classic jazz playing in the background and a sport bar section. Their chocolate cake tasted rich and balanced. Our server Jackie provided delightful service. Will be stopping by again.

This is a Chicago "joint." The food is surprisingly good for what looks like kind of a hole in the wall. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and you can get in and out quickly if you want. Great bloody marys for your weekend lunch. The hamburgers are excellent and they have other delicious comfort food too, such as grilled cheese and fish & chips. This is a good value.

Nice place. Surprisingly good food. Awesome reuben sandwich and great fries. Attentive service. Not a trendy atmosphere, but definitely a comfortable after-work spot. The bathroom situation needs some work. Will be back.

Apparently when the bar is full and you aren't ordering food but plan to rack up a drink tab they refuse you seating. Not to mention empty tables galore. Thumbs up for losing money idiots!

Disappointed. I ordered what I believe to be standard Pub food, fish and chips. It was worse than take-out. I'm certain the cook did no more than dump frozen fish fillets and frozen fries from a couple of bags into the hot oil, then serve. Even the slaw was prepackaged; lite on cabbage, heavy on sauce.

The greeter looked and acted as if he hated his job (or conversely, Chicagoans are grumpier than their So Cal counterparts). My first Chicago restaurant experience was disappointing.

They don t have great service and we had to wait for nearly 50 min for our meals and appetizers. When the food finally arrived it didn t meet our standards. We eventually paid $245 for the entire dinner. This was the price paid for only 4 people and we didn t eat that much. If I was to describe this place with a few words they would be: shady, expensive, garbage, and slow. Go to California if you want real food!

My dad and I order the chicken pot pie, they only make so many a day so you have to ask if they're still available. It was very delicious. The bathroom is extremely small for the size of this establishment. Our server was friendly but was trying too hard to be funny which came off is annoying. I know it says Miller's Pub, but there really is no reason to have the radio on oh, because it is so loud in there from people talking you can't even hear it.

It's true! But shhh
In all honesty, I was really hoping for basic customer service. However, things seemed to be a bit off. Just ended up asking for a carryout instead when all I wanted was to enjoy a nice dinner. Let's just say the service was a lil odd. Eating the chicken breast parmigiana, spaghetti right now and its delish!

As a Miller, I'm obligated to love this place, but fortunately they make it easy. Classic Chicago bar and restaurant, good food. Seemingly always busy, can be kind of a destination. Location by the Palmer house ensures crowds. Looking forward to my next visit!
