Absolutely the best salon software there is! Highly recommend millennium. We just integrated to Meevo 2 and it s so easy to use and great. I go to their conference every year, amazing education and a lot of fun!

MEEVO 2s in-salon training along with great phone tech support made leading into the transition so easy. I was told that "I have a very fast car and I am not driving it fast*... that was the response when I called and complained that the online booking was acting up. I have had numerous issues that they seem not to care about. Millennium is costing me money every month. I am currently searching for a reliable scheduling software. Your reports are crap compared to the dated online capabilties. As a Summit Salon I am truly dissapointed with your services.

I disconnected because I was on hold for over an hour. It seems that you are good at excuses but not technology.

Just started our journey with Meevo 2, any software change is a beast to handle & even though this was still true with our switch to them, we've NEVER had support like we have experienced from Meevo 2. I am encouraged that they're consistently looking to salon owners, front desk managers to grow their product, I'm excited that we're finally with a company that listens. Everybody I have personally encountered during the switch & ongoing tech support has been friendly & diligent in solving our issue (usually user error ha!), I have yet to have that feeling where they patronize me because they assume I'm an idiot (this has happened with our other software). We're on the curve of learning & everyone, the whole team are loving it thus far.

It's such a surprise for me to read how easy it is...

It's such a surprise for me to read how easy it is use the software. That has not been our experience. We've been forced to hire people that are extremely knowledgeable and curious to be able to use the Millennium software. As a techie, I can certainly get my way around this software fairly easily at this point. The point remains that it takes us at least 12 clicks of the mouse just to send a text message confirmation request. How is that easy? This is just one example of many...
We recently purchased the online booking module. We soon realized that it could not meet our needs. The client can only register on a computer and not on a smartphone. Macs are not supported and they must download Silverlight for it to function. Once the account is registered, the online booking interface via the smartphone is quite nice. But to get to that point, you've already lost your client.
We decided to return the booking module. The contract clearly states that the Return Policy is 60 days if we are not fully satisfied. We received a phone call letting us know that this does not include add-ons. The question remains why not simply state that the software is non-refundable. That's simply sleazy and disingenuous.

Bottom line is that this software takes up a great deal of time to set up and to train. It is NOT intuitive by any means. Customer support is sometimes good, sometimes not. You can do much better than this arcane interface.

I own a day spa and in 2012 after weighing out all of my options and speaking to various spa software companies, I bit the bullet and decided that the long term investment of paying outright for a spa program would be worth it. I paid $2500 for my Millennium software system. As with any spa software system there are pros and cons and you truly have to weigh them out and decide on which will work best for your business needs and go with that. One of the biggest issues from the beginning was their lack of integration within their software system. If are looking for a system that offers you auto emails for appointment reminder, follow up for feedback and reviews, online gift card option, online booking and access to your software 24 hours a day no matter where you are, then Millennium is NOT for you. As the own of a spa you really want, and quite frankly NEED these things in order to streamline your business in today's fast-paced society. Unfortunately in order to have all these things, you have to sign up with the 3rd party companies that partner with Millennium. What Millennium doesn't tell you is that these "extras" costs money, lots and lots of money per month. The companies they work with require contracts and yearly agreements and of course monthly fees in which you are obligated to pay each month. What was equally frustrating was that Millenium charged $35 a month for their support fee. In other words you have to be signed up and in a contractual $35 a month support plan in order to receive ANY technical support from them. For example, if you needed tech support to fix a glitch in your software, you better have your $35 a month plan in place otherwise its $75 per 15 minutes to speak with someone over the phone. I'm a numbers gal, so the math just didn't add up for me in the end. Paying $2500 to own a spa software system outright is fantastic if it came with the following: Free updates each time they came out with a new software version, a fully integrated program that offers online booking, follow up emails, appointment confirmation emails, online appointment booking, survey follow up emails, gift card purchasing capabilities, etc. Once I found out how much their 3rd party companies were charging, I was extremely disappointed. One of the companies that offered the online reviews, appointment request and follow up emails charged $300 per month. I ended up signing up with them and it was a 12 month contract. When my contract was up, I tried to cancel and they told me that I auto renewed and was obligated to another 12 months. Needless to say I began my search again, this time I was looking at a web based spa software system that I could have at my fingertips anytime, any day, anywhere. So lets do that math here: $2500 investment, $7200 for 2 years to a 3rd party Millennium partner, $5 per gift card sold via another 3rd party company (I probably sold about 400 gift cards during my time with them) so that is another $2,000. Total investment in 2 years: $11,700. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY NOT! The straw that broke the camels back: Last week I needed to get into my Millennium spa software to look up a client who hadn't been to the spa in over 2 years. Unfortunately it had been so long since I had logged into the Millennium system that I forgot my password. I called up their technical support department and I was floored. In order to reset my password I needed to be on their $35 a month plan (12 month contract), or I could pay $75 for 15 minutes of technical support for them to assist me. I wanted one simple password reset for a system that I paid $2500. It would have taken less than 1 minute. Leaving Millennium in April of 2014 to switch over to a company who charges $99 for a complete spa software system with EVERYTHING integrated was the best decision I made. As a small business owner, my heart goes out to others in my position. I truly am writing this review to educate anyone reading. Please research what you're getting into before you decide to purchase from this company and avoid the same costly mistake I made!

Originally moved from MDWare and loved the support but needed features of Millennium. Really love the reports and much of the software features. Wanted the ease of being cloud based and moved to Meevo 2. It was the easiest software transition I ve ever done! I m happy with the service and the speed of development employed with Meevo 2. Technology advances are a difficult business to be in but it s obvious this company gets it! They know what customers want and are moving in the right direction. Very happy with my decision to invest in this software overall and enjoy working with their team.

I Love Meevo! I previously used millennium software with another company. I loved the options it provided so much, that years later when I opened my own business I couldn t think of another company to grow with. Meevo is forward thinking. From the ease of the scheduling system, data management, payroll and all the other integrations offered, it helps my business run smoothly.

We switched from Millenium to the new Meevo 2 in January. Love the software! There are a few inventory features and analytical reports from the old system we miss, but over all much easier to use and much easier to train people on.

The only down side is I can tell that some of the support people don't know the system, all that well. I can tell when they are reading straight from the user manual and not actually looking at my problem. I always ask why something went wrong, so I can help my staff to avoid the problem in the future, and when i just get the technical fix - that I read in the manual before I called - fed back to I now I'm not going to get real help. More than once, I've taught them how to use their own system.

Luckily after the first few months of bugs, I have rarely ever had to contact support, which is a sign of great software.

I signed up with Meevo 2 in June 2020 after taking over my daughter's business. The program and especially the service is second to NONE!!
They are extremely acommodating, extremely knowledgeable. If you have an issue they get right back to you. This program is is fabulous!! The reports the whole system has everything you could need running a salon company and it's user friendly.
I HIGHLY recommend this program!!! Honestly I am still learning things, but if I need something I know it's just a phone call away!

We LOVE Meevo 2. We have used Meevo 2 for a year now. There has been so many improvements over this past year. I feel like I have lots more to learn and use with this software. I will be attending my second Business Mastery and am excited. Last year was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to get re-energized and have more to add to my business this year.

If you download Meevo, you will spend everyday on the phone with support team. Everyday. All day. Meevo does not take any accountability for their errors. It s marketed as a savings from Millenium, they forget to mention rates will increase at least by $50 in 2021. Reports are inaccurate, especially commission. Tons of misc errors that will prevent you from focusing on client experience and your actual job.

Coming from Vagaro I thought this would be a upgrade, Ii felt Vagaro lacked in reports but besides that the convienence and simplicity of communication with clients and check out was great. Millennium has great reporting but everything else seems out of date. I've had the software for 3 months before using it, that was plenty of time to learn the system but the support was not there, they new my launch date and fail to advise all of the things that was important to operate the system and even with a 4 hour training, 6 weeks of using it im still having issues. the support is not that great

The ease and efficiency of Meevo 2 has helped streamline our practice and helped reduce errors at the front desk which in turn has helped our revenue! It could use a little more fine tuning and offer some additional reports so in that aspect it has a little bit of a limited functionality but I think if you are a basic salon, etc, it will certainly do it's job. We made the switch from Vagaro (which we also LOVED) because it was more limited in it's functionality and left too much room for error by the front desk which was yielding too many financial and booking errors. Meevo has definitely filled those gaps where our former system left off. Vagaro was a great starter system but when you outgrow that, Meevo is definitely the way to go for your next step!

Terrible salon software. I've used Schedulicity, Envision, Vagaro, Salon Iris and Leprechaun. By far Millenium is the worst. It is difficult to use DAILY. Takes 3-4 minutes to book a standard appointment. Online-booking only works from a computer. Not a smart phone unless the client uses a specific browser! Wth?? I have been working with this system for over a month and it still takes forever for the most basic tasks.... Do yourself a favor and read the other reviews and shop around. Vagaro and Schedulicity are by far the simplest. The last update was in 2011 and they can't even tell me when the next one is coming. Definately talking the owner into one of the others!!!!

I have had millennium systems for 6 years. and to tell you the truth i don't like the program. you have to pay for help if you have a question. I was trained by a person that didn't seem to have much patience. and the program keeps messing up. the document part is nice but the appointment book is glitchy, unreliable and difficult to use. I think it is overly expensive and very limited there are much better systems out there. unless you want to pay more than the $99 per month that i'm already paying.Yuck to millennium

The only reason I am giving one star is because I am not allowed to give 0 stars. My company has used Millennium for over 10 years. Inittialy they were great!! Then they were good. About three years ago they were just OK. Now they are the worst. I am extremely frustrated with them. The service support has gotten progressively worse over the years and the software glitches constantly. In addition. when I purchased the product for my second location they quoted me a higher price and said that after the first three years the price would be lower after the product was paid. However the monthly price never went down as agreed. I have contacted them numerous times however they refuse to lower the price. I don't know how much longer I can put up with them. whenever there is a problem (that is often at least twice a month. We are put on hold for extremely long wait times. Currently I have been on hold for 40 minutes.

When I call sales department to try to correct the billing, it goes to voice mail. Lets see when they will return my call. I won't hold my breath.

After many years of using Millenium software, I changed to Meevo 2. I was told the reviews that said the software was glitchy & had bugs was because salons did not do the training thoroughly. So, I hired a person to do nothing but the training as well as train my whole staff.., she spent 7 weeks doing nothing but what they told her to do. It was still an awful transition... we were not only not prepared, we had days where we had no credit card processing available at all! Of course, this was 2 weeks before Christmas. Millenium attempted to help at times, but honestly, it took their technical support people a week and a half to finally get things somewhat figured out. The first payroll we found that the hours within their system don t add up..., a little bug they said... , all in all, a very bad decision. I m still debating about going back to Millenium! Good luck if you decide to take on Meevo 2!
It s been 2 months and the progress is minimal. Meevo 2 needs lots of work and, at this point, I don t believe Millenium is capable to fix all their problems. Think twice before going with this software!
I promised Millenium I would update my review as things progressed, so here goes. For the third month in a row I ve been charged an increase in my monthly text message charges. Because I have 2 locations, I use their platform called Central Office, which they say has been around for 2 years. The problem with Central Office is that there is no way for me to check how many texts are actually being sent out! So, I just have to trust that they are counting them correctly! This is the software, which on my first payroll, back in December, I realized wasn t adding up my employees time clock hours correctly for any given week! So I can hardly trust that they would be able to count my number of text messages sent correctly! Unfortunately, my business is still being affected by COVID, so I find this hard to believe that more texts could be sent out now doing 2/3 of the volume we were doing prior to COVID. It just doesn t make sense. However, for the third month in a row, while the charges continue to increase, they tell me they are looking into it.
As I have stated in my first review, buyer beware! They ll tell you they care, but it just doesn t show! They are definitely not in it for the small business! From the top down, it sure seems like they just don t care. I will not be voting for them for top software of the year!
I have been asked to update my review and reconsider my 1 star rating. I was seriously considering this recently because, honestly, after a year of using Meevo it has gotten a little easier! However, I was just told my monthly charges for both of my salons is going up from $87.50 to $114.30 per month per salon! You may ask what do you get for this increase..., well, you get to be told how to do your salons marketing! Yes, that s right.., they want you to do email marketing.., even if you don t want to and won t use it, you have to pay for it anyway!! I really thought the benefit of this software was to make it conducive to whatever kind of salon you have and to customize it.., not so much! If I could get out of my contract with their credit card processing company and not take such a loss on all the equipment I had to purchase, I d switch to new software in a heartbeat! Think twice salon owners!!

I enjoyed speaking to them so much, I was able to eventually work for the company and have been with the team for almost 5 years. The continued relationships, support, and education that this company offers is hands-down the BEST!! The Mill. sales person made it sound great, You would think as a new customer they would make sure everything went OK, They don't even return calls. This salon I opened for my wife three years ago is non stop, (Thank God), she's overwhelmed with running it, she really didn't need this Millennium nonsense.

We signed up with Meevo 2 in October 2018 and have been loving it ever since! We will be traveling to Miami for the Millennium Business Mastery courses this weekend and couldn't be more excited! This software is very user friendly, and they're always so helpful whenever we have any questions. What an amazing company. They work with you to set your buisness up in a way that fits best for you. The on boarding process was quick and easy. The help page answers most questions and the IT help line answers 100% of them. We switched to Meevo 2 in December and it's changed our business forever. At SWIHA, I have worked with Millennium from 2011 to 2019. Late 2019 my work launched Meevo2. Every system out there has positives and negatives (or as I call them differences), but Millennium Systems International have amazing staff and the system is constantly growing, improving while finding different ways to connect/hear their clients (I am honestly impressed). There are no words that can describe how happy I am with Meevo 2. When I have a question they will work to find the answer not just transfer me to a different department or supervisor. Sometimes they are quick calls and sometimes I have 2 phones to my ears while helping people in between. They understand that it is hard to find the time to step away and give them 100% of your focus while trying to run a business. They are professional and they have patience. I think the feeling I get is that they care! I get the impression every time I call that it does not just seem like a job to them, they really have shown in many ways over the years that they care and will try and support what I need help with. When we launched Meevo 2 there were times I would call for tech support questions 1 to 7 times in a day. The Millennium User Guides they have released since 2008 have improved by leaps and bounds. (Yes I have read a good amount of the 2008 user guides). Also it is a good system for anyone with little to no IT experience. In 2011 I was not Tech Savvy, from 2011 to now learning Millennium & now Meevo 2 has personally helped me learn a lot! Thank you Millennium / Meevo 2 for caring and supporting your clients. There are always ideas that pop up "in the moment" while working that could improve the user aspect of millennium / Meevo 2 and that does not worry me in the slightest. I know that my ideas will not go unheard because I have all the ways that your company connect with your clients, listen to them and try to improve the system to help benefit all who use it. Thank you!

In both systems, the reports and features don t just help us manage a salon - they help us GROW our salon. And, we cannot day enough about the caliber of support we receive from their support team.

In a world where the dollar is king, and you "get what you pay for", Millennium is a diamond in the rough. Starting at only $69 a month, it is an incredible program for any business owner, no matter how small or large.

I have worked with them for 2 years and with different applications. Initially I used them as a new scheduling software for a multi-million dollar spa business. It managed memberships, product, commissions, employees, taxes, reporting, client information, marketing, and of course, scheduling. This program is so massive, you can really do just about anything you want with it, and we pushed the limits of the system. When there are so many cogs in a wheel, it is essential to have a program that juggle everything, all while keeping it organized and easily accessible.

There were many aspects that made this program a perfect fit, as it really could do anything shy of frying a chicken. The level of security within the system made it not just the right choice for in house, but also external loss prevention. There was an ease to pulling reports and gathering data that made meetings easy, as there was confidence in the accuracy of the information. Many associates were required to access the system at all levels of the company. Millennium is so user-friendly, that we did not have to devote copious hours to training our staff on the program. It also couldn't be "broken", though we tried! Nothing could be processed in the system that couldn't be fixed. Data was never "lost". As you may be able to derive, I have experienced software systems that can be trying, on a good day.

Now, let's turn a 180. Millennium was created for the spa/salon industry. That is, however, far from the limits of it's application. The organization I'm currently working with provides an altruistic community space for people to utilize as a meeting space for whatever they would like. Initially, it had been managed from paper calendars, and e-mails. Millennium, in all its glory, was the perfect solution to our challenge of coming into the 21st century! Using the exact same program, but turning off features and comprehensively taking advantage of the customization options, it is now a perfect fit for a much smaller task.

We manage 3 community spaces, booking maybe 40 appointments a month, compared to thousands at the spa. It is saving man hours as instead of all bookings having to go through one person and only one master paper copy (EEK!), it is now accessible from anywhere, at anytime, by any of our staff. With the backups available, there is no worry about losing the data.

It has also brought the quality of our communications to the next level. Instead of having to remember who has been e-mailed, when, about what, with what information, the marketing tool feature has empowered us to fully automate the system with confirmation e-mails that are branded and customized. A one man show, just got a polish and now has the branding that we have worked so hard to create.

All of the membership, commission, and product management features I utilized at the spa, I simply turned off, or didn't use and it is still the perfect program.

In both instances, I have been astounded, floored, and overwhelmed with the quality of customer service. At every step of the way, in every level of the company, you encounter individuals who know your company, care about your success, and genuinely enjoy what they are doing. I often imagine that the tech support team is tossing around a beach ball in the call center and laughing to alleviate any stress or negative vibes from the challenges, questions, and concerns that flood the team every day. They are your own personal geek squad that are as quick to smile as answer your question.

I have not been a big fan of meevo2 but that is not why I am giving them a -1 star review.I have elected to use Salon Iris and Meevo is hijacking my client list and won t release it without a $690 ransom.This has been going on for 2 weeks.My lawyer is getting involved when she returns from vacation.As a business owner I can t comprehend the integrity level of this company to do this.My client list is my body of work and For them to do this shows who they are.I have reached out to the New Jersey district attorney and the BBB.At this point I would rather set fire to $700 than to give it to this company
