I stayed at the Millennium Hilton Bangkok for 1 night at the end of my trip. I arrived from BKK which is a bit far during the day with traffic, but not unmanageable. The view of the city from the upper floors and rooftop was fantastic. The room was clean and quite nice with outlets easily accessible from sitting areas and the bed. Executive Lounge was quite nice as well, and the staff were lovely. Check in and check out experience went without issue. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Bangkok and experience more of the amenities. Taxi to airport in the morning was 500 baht for reference.

I went to Hilton to watch the riverside night view. We visited the first floor buffet restaurant. At first I got outdoors. I recommend the interior !!!! The buffet is luxurious. There is room with cheese one by one and dessert is pretty. But the sushi corner is poor and I feel something is salty.
The hotel itself seems to be visited by many tourists from India, China and the richly dressed people.

Cripes never actually stayed at the hotel just used the loos after getting off the ferry. For European visitors you won't be questioned as to who you are, so feel free to use the Hilton free boat to get further down river!!

An older hotel room had to be renovated otherwise food and drinks very good staff friendly and accommodating executive area on the 35th floor with bar also outside great view of the chao praya

Great location, good view. BAD BAD BAD service.

Great location, good view. BAD BAD BAD service.

Too few employee, they left me and kept me and my wife wait for about an hour! Such a very bad mood!

And the most important thing is : We CANNOT dine at Prime!!! T-T

-Get the standard of quality of a Hilton - Clean and spacious room, super cozy bed and high quality furnishings

-The staff is attentive and, as far as possible, seeks to give a good service

-The breakfast room is separated into "areas" -> Oriental, Indian, families and "general". Good range of options, including regional (but found better options in Bangkok)

-The pool area (beach) is fantastic, even has individual kiosks with sand. The sunny area, though crowded, is excellent, and takes full advantage of the prime location in Bangkok.

-Good gym, sauna

-Reasonable location, offset by the provision of a shuttle boat that crosses the river to the BTS station Saphan Taksin; It is very complicated to tell the taxi driver to go to the "Millenium Hilton". The way they pronounce English is incomprehensible. Take the name in writing, preferably in Thai ... it helps a lot.

-I realize that the criticisms are mostly answered here, individually. Although the hotel may not meet everyone's expectations, it seems to take all the feedbacks into account, which already gives me a good impression

Very crowded and noisy, especially for groups of Chinese tourists receiving it! The checkout line is too long and I never want to go again.
I went there because the price was cheap for 5 stars, but there was a reason why it was really cheap! I made a reservation for a room that included hotel credit, but when I checked in, I complained that it was "something they don't know", and the next morning at the door at the door, I said that I could use the hotel facilities with a credit of $50 per day, so I could use the mini-bar to my heart's content. I used it, but without a detailed explanation in advance, I couldn't use the mini-bar as a credit, so I couldn't even use credits and spend money on money, so I didn't feel friendly compared to other Thai hotels.
The surrounding area is also under construction, so it's complicated, and it's the worst cost-effective hotel in Thailand I've been to!
I would rather recommend Anantara Riverside around the area~

The room was nice and clean. The Service is good and the breakfast has a lot of opportunities. Nice Pool and fitness room. The place is great as you can be at Taksin in 10min.
The Hotel is really old and you can see that everywhere. The floors have old carpet, the Millennium on the roof is missing the e, the chairs have traces of the long use and the windows need a cleaning. It was a nice stay, but the hotel had it's best times.
One thing was really bad: you have a coffee mashine in the room but you have to pay for the pads. I have never seen that before. It is not much, but it makes you feel not welcome.
I would come again as all in all it was a nice stay but I would not pay that room price again.

Never go wrong with KING RIVER VIEW SUITE!!! Great stay!

We were here to celebrate my dad's birthday. And we did have a great time at Millennium Hilton. First of all, this hotel is HUGE. It's like a big amusement park for adults. There are so many good things to do inside this property. So no need to worry if it rains or not.

I booked King Panoramic River Suite which comes with Executive Lounge access, panoramic river and city view, 67 sq. m./720 sq. ft., big living room and choice to have breakfast either at lounge on 31st floor or at Flow restaurant on ground floor.

This room is so big compare to basic room and there are only 4 rooms on each floor [2 is King River View and 2 is King Panoramic River View] Like others mentioned about dated room and furniture but it's still in a good shape and very clean. I recommend this room because the view is absolutely worth the price.

Club lounge is nice since it's on the top floor so the view is just breath taking. However, the food quality during happy hours is disappointing....very basic and limited. Even cocktails and wine choices are way too basic in my opinion. Afternoon tea snacks are yummy, however.

Fitness is good and guests can use it 24/7. Swimming pool has amazing panoramic view from on 4th floor.

Shuttle boat service is very enjoyable.

Service is nice. Staff are friendly.

So I can understand why there are some complaints. But if you stay in Suite, I think the panoramic view will make you forget little missing things here and there. We did have a good time and overall stay is great! And I would love to be back when ICON SIAM project is complete.

Room Tip: High floor has better view and view toward Emerald temple has better view

Just checked in today for my Birthday celebration at BKK. Waited 2 hours more for the check in. Room on 15th floor given but mistakenly went up to 18th floor. Feel the corridor of18th full with fragrance but when came down to 15th, the floor like hell coz it smells like musty.
After get into the room, found a lot of fries flying around and feel it is so annoying... Checked the bath room and saw a very large and nice wall mounted mirror. But, when get closer, it is so much dusty and dirty too... Front desk staffs were not friendly as those major hotels all I experienced. Expect to have a memorable BD trip but it seems half been spoiled already...

Usually we would have given four stars - e.g. the pool is not really an infinity pool. However, the Executive Lounge on the 31st floor is fantastic and the staff very attentive.
Three Sixty Jazz bar on 32nd floor is a must.

Top!
