I worked with Ray Moore for special order and he was AWESOME!! From the initial inquiry to the completion of the install. I am completely happy with install and the customer service was outstanding. I'd definitely use them again!!

Your window salesman wants a paycheck but wants to do as little as possible to get it. I went in to ask him what the difference was between manufacturers windows based on the price difference for the same window. His lovely response was. It is my job as a buyer to go investigate on my own. He is only there to order what I want. Well I was there the learn the difference so I can make a informative decision. So yes I was doing my investigation. How lazy can one person be. I also referred a few other people to millard lumber but after this fabulous experience I have called them and told them my experience and withdrew my referral. Now off to their competitor.
After sifting through the big box store piles I decided to give you a try. I knew exactly what I wanted by size and quantity. I called in the order and then realized that I would probably get the picked over leftovers since I didn't see them in person. I was wrong. The entire order was the best of quality and it was delivered and placed in the EXACT spot that I asked. That service goes a long way. Keep it up!!
Recently built a pergola.....after a bad experience with Menards where they messed up my order and made things way to difficult I went to Millard Lumber. They had everything I needed and the service and delivery was outstanding. Realized mid way through we needed a few more pieces and they went out of their way to get them there quickly. Went to get 10 foot posts. Needed 6 of them. Two young men both named Ben had amazing attitudes and went through about 20 different posts until we were satisfied with the ones they showed us. They also loaded them into our vehicle. I would recommend going here for all your lumber needs. The warehouse guys customer service was incredible.
My experience has been a complete 180 than what it was with Home Depot. Long story short, I went to Home Depot, demanded my money back and hopped across the street to see Angel. I had just spent four months trying to buy an entry door. I came to Angel with what I wanted. He was able to mock it up and give me an estimate in minutes (HD took about an hour mucking around on their software). We worked back and forth on details and I made the purchase. A few weeks later the door came in (on time - HD was 2 weeks late). He called me, let me know it was in and we worked on scheduling an install. They ended up coming that weekend to install (HD was a month out for installs). The installer, Michael, was wonderful. He was very detailed and they were there much later than expected (everything in this house was done wrong). I couldn't be happier with my entry door and the process. This is what buying local and the customer experience is all about. Thanks guys! I can't recommend y'all enough.
I don't think Tanner nor Michael warrant even a 1 star. They do not know there job nor their product and when a mistake is made, rather than own it and make it right they put it back on the customer. They like to use comment like "you approved the ticket ". Yes that is correct. I approved the ticket. However, what is listed on the ticket is NOT the same as what was given me. Not the first time either. So I guess shame on me for going back. I won't be making that mistake again. For the record, the products are great. The customer service an knowledge base of the employees are severely lacking.
