I experience this community as warm, authentic, life-giving and Jesus-centered. People seem to live what they believe and model generosity within the city. Our kids love it and so do we. We couldn t be more grateful to have found Mill City.

Five years ago, we head about MCC, after that one service (happened to be on Easter), we found our Church home. Pastor Aaron and the entire MCC staff are such a blessing!
For almost 6 years I have called Mill City my church, and it is now so much more. I instantly felt at home here when I first visiting in August of 2013. Here is a church where you don t have to pretend to be anything you re not, where people will embrace you exactly as you are, welcome your questions, and show you the love of Jesus. Here is a church is active and engaged in its city, that seeks to become better and better. I have laughed many belly laughs, cried many tears, and fought and won many battles alongside these people. God is active and moving in these doors. Come and see!
I have been in church my whole life and being part of THIS church is changing my whole life. No matter where you are on the journey you will find people to partner with you where you are and journey on together.

We have been members of many churches over the years and even helped plant a church in the 90's. So we have much experience with many church cultures and styles. I will have to say that Mill City Church is one of the most Christ-centered and people focused that I have ever attended. The family feel is so real with an incredible mix of university students, young families and older "seasoned' members. The worship music is "inspired" and the messages apply to all generations and levels of spiritual formation. I would recommend MCC to anyone looking for life, family, and a sense of belonging all centered in Jesus!

It is, hands down, the healthiest church I ve ever been a part of alive in the spirit of God, true to the Word of God, and authentic in the pursuit of God. Mill City Church is the most spirit-filled church I have ever attended. The message is about Jesus welcoming all to the Christian table. The church is mission-focused and joyfully pours out time, love, and money. The kids ministry is phenomenal. I've never experienced better worship featuring humble and talented performers, a variety and multitude of instruments, traditional hymns mixed in with contemporary songs in a hall that is meant for music. The staff and leadership glorify Jesus, not themselves. What a breath of fresh air to #belong to #Jesuschurch. Thanks Mill City!
I have been in Fort Collins for two years now and have attended many local churches here seeking the presence of God and looking for a Spirit-Filled place to call home for me and my family. I did not feel like I was being Spiritually fed at the church we had been going to for the past year and so when I did a google search and came across Mill City Church, I was immediately determined to go and check out a service. I was familiar with Pastor Stern from attending theMill in Colorado Springs years ago and I have to say that after attending that first service, I knew I had found my home once again. The love and generosity that this Church has shown our family in just this short time is overwhelming. I had been searching to be edified and fed by a Christ-centered community and am so excited to grow with this anointed body of believers. Thank You Mill City Church!

I love this church!. The atmosphere is diverse, there is a young population including college kids!. The pastors are amazing!. I hope that one day we can have a building of our own and gather both campuses!.

Mill City is full of genuine people who really love God and others. The teachings are challenging and relevant. Pastor Aaron is a gifted teacher and truly humble. Worship is dynamic and up-beat. I would definitely recommend it to my friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
I started coming to Mill City as a freshman in college during the Fall of 2017. Leaving my home church, I was scared and doubtful that I'd find a church anything like it. But even on my first Sunday at MC, I was warmly welcomed and invited into the community! Mill City has consistently provided me with meaningful relationships to foster my own spiritual growth. Not only that, but there are SO many platforms of opportunity for people who want to get plugged in and serve. Mill City feels like my home away from home and I'm so glad it's become such a huge part of my life! Jesus is EVIDENT in this church!
Mill City is one of the most authentic churches I have ever attended. Being a single person in my 30s, I've found a place where I can learn about God and connect with people in real ways and not feel bad because I don't have a husband and kids. The pastors and staff really create a place where you can come as you are and you won't be judged for it.
From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. In fact, my husband and I had vowed to try out several churches before committing to just one. Before the end of service, we looked at each other and said, "We are home!". Pastor Aaron has a true heart for Jesus and we look forward to hearing God's word from whomever is speaking each Sunday. Our daughters both leave Kids Ministry feeling loved and they always know a little more about Jesus than they did the week prior. We love the energy and worship. God is truly alive at Mill City and we love that our church is always sharing that life and love with the city of Fort Collins through outreach. Mill City Church has been such a great place for me. I moved to Fort Collins to attend CSU and wanted to find a Christian community quick. I found Mill City and felt at home right away with many people my age as well as older generations that I could seek wisdom from. The atmosphere was extremely fun and modern. The teachings were relevant and biblical based. I immediately wanted to join the volunteer team and get connected. If you are looking for a church in Fort Collins or Northern Colorado you found the right one no matter your background or where you are at in your journey with faith.

We are so incredibly thankful for Mill City. After feeling discouraged and distrusting of the church as a whole, it s refreshing to have found a church so transparent with their finances and so dedicated to empowering people to serve where their gifts best fit. Not to mention, the worship team is so dang talented and it s like the icing on the cake!
CHURCH. This can be an uncomfortable word to use and definitely ask about if you're interested in going. What's going to happen when I get there? Are the people going to be weird, dressed different, look down their nose at me....? What is the pastor going to say? Will people know I'm new?

MILL CITY: is real people, they will look you in the eye, welcome you, answer questions, help you find a seat. Our pastor wears jeans, has a wife and 4 kids as well as lives, shops and sleeps in Ft Collins, the people you will see you have unknowingly passed in Kings, Foot Hills Mall and Lory State Park.
You will sit down in the original Ft Collins High School auditorium, hear about our church, listen to people singing, join in if you want and its totally Ok if you don't join. Then you will hear from Aaron Stern, the jean-wearing pastor.
You will hear stories, struggles, pathways, and about Jesus. We read, use and rely on the Bible. It shares how Jesus was a man, who walked this earth, made meals, had family and loved. He loved everyone. Everyone. And he loved them right where they were. Rich, poor, man, woman, the churched and the outcast. And you will hear about his love for you when you come. We are real, not weird. Honest, hopeful, purposeful and would love to see you and your kids of all ages come.

I love Mill City Church. Pastor Aaron leads with a compassionate, Jesus-centered heart and his messages unpack the Bible in a way that meets you where you are, but presses you to grow. I also love the maturity of the team who oversees the children's ministry. They take the safety of your child seriously while creating a fun, curriculum-rich environment. My daughter is always excited to go and happy when I get her back which gives me peace of mind as I enjoy service.
Mill City Church is a great place to be part of a diverse community of people who care. The small groups are a wonderful opportunity to be supported and support others. The church atmosphere is very welcoming but they don't follow scripture. I was actually told to look at the culture when applying a verse. The bible says God is the same yesterday, today and in the future. His word doesnt change based on the culture. The bible predicts the future so God was well aware of the culture today when it was written. Timothy 2:12
Mill City has been a blessing in my life since September 2017. The people pulled me in from the beginning and have encouraged me in my relationship with Christ every week! I now volunteer, attend City Groups and have met so many amazing friends. God is living and active in this community of people!
I absolutely love the way this community reaches out and exemplifies family. Jesus is the star of the story and He is truly glorifed and lifted high here, from the messages to the lives of those who lead us. Love the relationships I have made here and can always count on my sisters to be fighting for me and with me.

Most Excellent family of believers! Pastor Aaron is awesome! As is the rest of the staff. The Bible is taught in a truthful, loving, and relevant way. Well worth the 50+ mile drive from north Denver when we make it up. Highly recommended for all ages but especially for college age students who are interested in the truth. Oh! And the worship!

Pros: Great worship - lots of talent and passion in the team. Creative messages, anyone who preaches is well spoken and the teaching is from the Bible. The UCA building is absolutely beautiful.
Cons: High degree of impersonality. I felt as if you did not fit a certain type it was difficult to fit in.
Mill City Church is a welcoming environment to anybody who steps through those doors. I encourage anyone and everyone to attend Easter service's because it is the powerful message of the cross that humanity desperately needs to here
I retired from 43 in ministry seven years ago when I moved to Fort Collins and started attending Mill City Church with my wife and grand kids. I tell people it is the most exciting church I have been to in my life. And, I am talking about the churches I pastored. People are inviting Christ into their lives every week. We love the vitality of MCC that is energized by making Jesus the center of all that is done. It is a church with many young singles and couples but there is a welcome dynamic that those of us who are older are respected and not segregated. One of the most notable things about MCC is the pastor staff. They are the real deal, authentic and committed to engagement in the Lord's redemptive work. Come and check MCC out!
