Every time i have an issue witn my Kia vehicles. The service department has always took care of me. This time EJ from the service department help me with my Kia Sportage. My Driver Door keyless Entry was broken. Very odd. But he said it looks like it just came apart. He took pictures and sent it to the warrenty Department and it got approved. He is a very busy man because I have been there 3 times in two weeks and he was the only one I saw working the front desk in the service department. Thank you EJ for your dedication to customer service. I hope upper management reads this review.

We went just to"look" and ended opp purchasing a vehicle. Chase was fantastic in what he does, there was no pushing, but he was there to answer any questions we had. Enjoyed our buying experience. This was the first time that we didn't have to spend the whole day just to buy a car. We will definitely recommend Mike Shaw Kia!!

Boyce is the best ever! He was honest and never gave up on trying to give my mom and I a car. We went to Mike Shaw Kia not expecting to get anything but my mom and I both walked out of there with two brand new 2017 Kia Fortes! We could not believe how magnificent, truthful, and friendly the staff was. They gave it to us straight. Boyce was very patient with us. He gave us everything we wanted in a car and more! Overall we had an extraordinary experience!

Brought my 2014 Kia Sorento in for and oil changed. I was greeted upon entering the lobby. Was taken care of right away and I didn t even have an appt. the service was quick and we were on our way in no time. Thanks for the great job!!

Always takes good care of me but this is the 3rd time my radio screen blacked out. Yes they fixed it each time. Great service. They Finally decided to order me a new radio. Mind you my vehicle is brand new 2017. But I shouldn t be afraid to drive over speed bumps ext worrying that a wire might come loose the the radio. I believe it s a factor issue and needs to be addressed immediately.

I went to this dealership on 6/29 sometime in the morning. I went in to look at the Kia Sorento and told salesman (wish i remembered his name White male blonde hair) what i was looking to pay for one and told him we already had a lender. He said he couldn't get it down to what we wanted and then asked what we wanted to pay monthly. We told him and he said we wouldn't be able to get it at that payment for the price of those vehicles. Then i showed him the ones I was looking at online that had the price we were looking to pay and he said they didn't have those cars anymore and the website wasnt updated. A little misleading but okay. After that he was just kind of like sorry couldn't help and was basically showing us the door. He didnt even ask if we wanted to look at something else or if he could help us find something similar.I also wanted to look at the Kia Optima but the way the young man made us feel, was like if i was trying to get him to sell me a car not the other way around. My husband and I felt that he wasnt intetested in our business and was just dismissing us. I was very disappointed because i really really love Kia and if he would of been just a little more attentive he would of made a sale. My family was needing a new vehicle asap so i went a couple dealerships down and made a $35k purchade on a beautiful vehicle.

Our salesman Ryan was very nice & professional. Our only issue was the manager didn t give any amount off the sticker price as the Telluride is in such demand. He didn t care at all that we were going to pay cash for the whole amount. We love the car. It is beautiful & rides smoothly.

Very disappointed in their customer service. On Tues, Sept. 15, 2020, I selected a vehicle online, was ready to make a deal. I was contacted by a salesman named Ryan via text. I let him know I had my own financing yet he gave me some song and dance from his manager, Eddie, wanting me to complete their application for financing so they could tie into my application with my bank. This isn t my first time purchasing a car and I m very much aware that there s no need to complete an application when preapproved. All they have to do is work the numbers, have my approval and send the purchase order to my bank and boom done! I informed them of this and don t believe it was received very well. They assumed I was gonna fall for it. Next thing you know I receive an offer from Eddie, sales manager and mysteriously, the Kia Customer Cash was deleted and an additional $1,495.00 was tacked on. He also low balled me on my trade in. Needless to say, I declined the offer. I have since contacted another Kia dealership here in San Antonio and was informed the KIA customer cash is a given, KIA bonus cash is an incentive that only applies if you finance with KMF. That said, they should have never removed the customer cash amount from my offer. I firmly believe this was done due to the fact that I refused to fill out an application with them. The moral of the story is be very careful folks. Know your rights and know when to walk just like I did!

I also feel like they're trying to sell me things I know I don't need like transmission flush or brakes.

This may not seem positive, but it is. I am a tough sale and they earned my business; not easy. I just tell it like it was and how my experience was.
The sales guy was good and selection is great. When it got to "The Mangers" and back office I actually left because they knew my final numbers and desires and said no, so I left. They called me back less than 10 minutes later and made a deal. So except for the little game of them pressing me and me having to show, NO I won't just take it everything was good there. Finance is what earned the 4 stars as they were a 6. I was pre-approved and came in with a pretty good rate and term. They CRUSHED it. Bottom line if you can put up with a little of the let me talk to my manager BS and be willing to walk away the rest of the process is great.

We bought a car here about a month ago. The purchase process was streamlined and rather painless, friendly staff, free snack and all. Everything was great - until we went to leave with the car we just purchased. The car was not ready to be driven off the lot due to a service that needed to be performed to ensure it's safety. While I appreciated their insistence on making sure the vehicle was safe to drive - I had asked BEFORE the purchase if the car had passed state and was told yes it had but I guess not because it had an issue that although easy to fix would not allow it to pass state. I was pretty annoyed and felt a bit slighted like maybe they knew it wouldn't be ready for take home that day buy just wanted to make the sale. Kinda ruined the purchasing process for us. I still gotta give them 4 stars because I know isht happens and what can you do, right? The GM was cool and followed through real nice like. He had the car hand delivered the to our apartment the next day so kudos on that one.

Even though I did not schedule an appointment, they got me out quickly. They put a reminder to change in 5,000 miles instead of 3,000 which makes me feel good that they aren t trying to get me spend extra money on excess oil changes. The other dealer I used kept wanting me to come every 3k when the manufacturer recommends every 7k. This is Texas so I do it every 5k. The staff was very nice and went over what was checked in detail. Coffee and water for customers is free, the waiting area is clean, a little small but still comfortable. I definitely recommend Mike Shaw Kia!

Edward and Tony with Mike Saw Kia we're very polite and worked very hard to gain my business. They were not pushy and we're very respectful. My experience with the other car dealers down the road was appalling. Bought a Kia Sportage because it was of good quality and priced fairly. All dealers could learn a few things from the way the guys at Kia treat people.

Compared to our experience at a different dealership, where salesman lost interest in selling us a vehicle because we weren't buying a 2020, Jessica was more than happy to help put us in a vehicle that met our needs
Steven, the finance manager, was very helpful, and worked to get us the best possible financial arrangements possible

I started the process online, and was approved and had set up an appointment to see the vehicle I wanted within 30 minutes! Once I saw the vehicle, everything was signed and I drove off in less than an hour! I would definitely recommend buying here!

Had THE EASIEST time buying a car from Mike Shaw Kia, Tiffany in internet sales and Trina in financing were THE BEST, I couldn t have paid them to treat me any better than I was taken care of by them! Wonderful car shopping experience, a great deal, and no pushing or hassles, I ll DEFINITELY be spreading the word about these two and their AMAZING customer service! 10/10

I went to the dealership to see if my car had a recall. It didn't...but i received a software update and a free car wash! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! Free drinks was the icing on the cake! Will definitely be taking my Kia here to get serviced. Thank you. 10 out of 10!

I went to Mike shaw kia. The salesmen Sabastian understand us that we needed a bigger car.He was very nice. But The manager just instant that we needed another 3 rd roll which we needed but it was small in the back and keep on trying to put us in the car that we didnt want. Keep on and on trying and I kept telling him we didn't want it. Finally after hour we left. Very rude and pushy. I wouldn't go there again.

First have any of you noticed Mike Shaw KIA replies to the good ratings but never to the bad ratings. That s bc they don t care.

They are quick to push for extended warranty and gap coverage when your buying from them but then once you trade the vehicle in somewhere else they don t have time for you. I canceled my extended warranty and gap coverage so I thought two weeks ago. I called the warranty company to make sure being that my refund is 4000$ and found out the paper work still had not been submitted to them. So I called Mike Shaw Kia again to ask why it wasn t submitted and was told it takes 6 to 8 weeks. That s ridiculous and unacceptable. It s literally a fax/email sent to the warranty company. That s it.!!!!! I traded my other truck in also and it took literally 10 days for the entire process and check to come in mail. So they can handle these cancellations faster then 6 to 8 weeks if they actually cared about their customers. I would give no star if I could. They have been rude and could care less now that I m not buying from them. I called the warranty company and told them what was going on and they are having me send them the cancellation papers so they can contact the dealer. I even asked the guy for the number to HIS main office since he said they handle the cancellation request. He refused to give me the number. Total rude and unacceptable.

About two weeks ago I went into Mike Shaw KIA just to go looking for my first car. I didn't think at all that I was going to be able to go home with one, but sure enough Tori came out and introduced herself and said right away that I may be able to work with a first time buyer plan. In little to no time at all I was told that I was approved and it was up to me with what car I wanted. I got myself into a 2014 chevy Malibu. I'm thankful for the help from Mike Shaw and Tori I can't thank you enough. I would suggest any one looking for their first car to definitely go to Mike Shaw. Ask for Tori

Decided to trade my car in and stopped by to browse. Was greeted by Jennifer Joyce a new sales associate at Mike Shaw. Her honesty and willingness to get answers to my seemingly endless questions, was awesome. She made sure as I waited that I had all I needed. During her back and forth, she made sure I was familiar with their facility and always came back to check on me. She had a genuine care that I was a top priority even though I could tell they were super busy. The overal process went very smooth and I was on my way to TN to visit family in my new 2018 Kia Optima sport. Her dedication to my being taken care of after the initial greet is one big reason I ll return to Mike Shaw Kia for a future purchase and services to my car.
