Mike's Crabhouse Review

We came for the crabs, and Mikes didn't disappoint.

Parking lot attendant was not customer friendly. We pulled and pulled out. Not worth it.

We love this spot! Great family place to pull the boat up to for crabs! Tons of outdoor seating!!

First time we went here it was great. Great views, great food and great service. We liked it so much I took my dad there when he came to visit and we waited awhile for our food our waitress, kept forgetting things and the food turned out pretty mediocre. But the location is still great, just know that service is hit and miss.

Nice sunny day, thought we would go nearby for lunch, Mike's was near but not worth it. Busy but not crazy; services would get a single star and two stars for the overall experience, just to be generous! Lived Annapolis for 20+ years, dined in every waterfront venue . Will not return and will actively discourage friends or family.

Food was good but this is my second time dealing with a rude and pushy guy over the phone, while placing my order. I think he s the manager because when picking up a previous order, he had a dispute with another customer about the same sort of problem.

Food was fresh, hot, tasty, and yummy! Service was great! Recommended for large parties. If you go with a smaller group, go early and watch the sun set.

Food was good. Parking on a Saturday night is horrible.

What a gem of a place!!By the waters with a scenic view, the restaurant is a great place for seafood.
We had crab balls to start with followed by big juicy crabs and crisp calamari washed it down with cold Sam Adam's lager...yummy!!
We finished the meal with decadent chocolate cake and creamy cheesecake .
What made the meal all the more enjoyable was our waitress Kimberly who was friendly, attentive and fast.
Highly recommend you check Mike's Restaurant out.

Food was great, service was quick, friendly and frequent for our large group. There was ample parking and great views of the South River. I had the crab cakes. There were 2 large cakes with lots of large pieces of crab. It was a terrific experience!

Started out a little rocky but thanks to server ASHTON we had a Wonderful time!! She suggested vinegar and ole bay dipping for the blue crabs and it was AMAZING!!!! She was very accommodating, PATIENT and understanding with our party of 7. The Lump Crab Cakes were ALL CRAB MEAT. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

One of the few places that serve soft shell clams, great atmosphere, and a great menu. Reasonably priced.

Food is mediocre and the service leaves much to be desired

In good weather you could have a wait to have your crabs. Sizable get togethers for celebrations. Always fun. Places to sit and enjoy the water view. A must try. Fresh salad bar.

Food was good. The crab cake was legit. Service was polite and helpful but you get the impression that the place is really about getting quality seafood in front of your face asap.

Crabs were excellent!! Customer service was superb!!! Our server Nic was very professional, accommodating and had the best attitude!! It's a joy to receive this type of service at an establishment. Nic is definitely an asset to the staff at Mike's. Kudos for adhering to social distancing guidelines also!!

Every time I come from FL to visit family, Mike's is always a stop I make. They cant be beat.

Don't go to Mike's you wait 3 hours in can not get a table it's horrible they lie to you say the wait is 2 hours inside and longer outside and then you wait 3 hours and you still don't get a table then they tell you 14 people in front of you when they told you that it was 6 people jn front of you a hour before that, Don't go to Mike's restaurant in Annapolis you're wasting your time. very disappointed in this restaurant.

I came here for an office retreat. I had a blast with everyone. It's right on the edge of the water and on a sunny day, the breeze feels amazing. The staff were nice and one of our servers taught me how to properly eat crabs. The crabs were awesome and the drinks were too. Im definitely going to visit again.

Food is good, crabs are good. Service is mediocre. The atmosphere is loud but family friendly for the most part. Service is first come first serve. A considerable piece of the seating capacity is outdoors. If you're planning to visit on a rainy Saturday evening expect wait times in excess of 1 hour for a table.

Went here Mother's Day 2015, very long wait, food is okay, crabs are kinda pricey. Service was decent but sometimes seemed a little annoyed. Good views of south river

Great space on the water, friendly service. We sat on the roof and had drinks after food. Our was a great afternoon.

Unbelievable. They told us it would be a 2 hour wait. We patiently waited, and after 2 hours was up, I went to the desk and they said there another 10 people in front of us, causing at least another hour. Done with this place. Will never return.

Good crabs but had to pop leave wait was over an hour and a half.

Food is pretty good if a little conventional. Prices aren't too high. Ambient noise can be a problem. View depends greatly upon exact seating.

I was the best seafood place i have ever tryed everything was so well done and made with care. If your thinking about comeing here do it its all worth it.

A marvelous place for family,, friends and co -workers gathering for seafood experiences not at home.

Great location on the water. Crab cakes had good flavor but a bit more filler than I would like. The salmon special with spinach and feta cheese featured a big portion of salmon.

Decent view, seafood ok, crabs ok..... View is beautiful.... Waterfront.

Old school decor with lots of fried food on the menu, but the steamer sampler platter was excellent. Fresh oysters, fresh mussels, fresh clams, and perfectly steamed shrimp. Excellent cocktails and friendly service as well. Can't wait till it warms up so we can enjoy the same outdoors.

Seems like there is no clear management. There is no order. A extremely long wait when there are empty tables that need to be cleaned just sitting. I heard the food was good, but the service/ management didn't allow me to visit.

Great atmosphere, best crabs. We drive in from NoVa just for their crabs!!

The crabs were absolutely dilishiouse! The only thing was, was that they gave us a pager and said it would be 10 mins and there were many tabels available inside and outside... But they said it was because they didnt have that much staff today. But thats ok.

It's hard to find the entrance, staff excellent, had the Rockfish when I got home had a severe upset stomach. This is the 1st time I've been sick after eating fish

I'm not sure what all the rave is about because I thought my dining experience sucked. I ordered mussels which I had to send back because they were dry and all shrivelled up like they had been cooked hours before and reheated in the microwave. My broiled scallops were chopped into pieces and very bland and chewy. My kids had the plain cheese pizza and we were actually charged a dollar extra for the cheese. We asked the waitress about this and she said that they actually charge for cheese. What?!? We asked to speak with the manager. The manager confirmed that they charge for cheese. We stated that pizza already comes with cheese and she agreed that it was a silly policy, but continued to give us a freaking WARNING about their policy so that we know for next time. WHAT?!? A warning? We will never be back, so no need to warn us. The floors were sticky and filthy as was our table. The service was "OK" in general, but nothing special. The decor is worse than Taco Bell. My husband and I were SO baffled as to why this restaurant gets good reviews. It was an expensive waste of money and I'd never return.

Went today and requested best outside view. View was great. Took a little long to be seated, but it was full. The food was good for the high prices. I ordered a dozen extra large crabs and asked the waiter to make sure they were full. They came out great! They were big and full. My bf also got the Mahi mahi and it was good. This place has high prices, but the quality was good. Also, the salad bar was very clean and fresh. Worth checking out, but come early because they start packing up everything up at 9pm.

The food was delicious, but a bit pricey. My main complaint comes from our experience at the tiki bar. The bar tender / cashier was very rude to our entire party and left a big damper on the evening. When we finally got seated for our meal, our waitress was very kind and sweet. But our experience with the bar tender has overshadowed the rest of our time at Mike s.

The service was excellent and the food was very good

Every time I come here they never have crabs or crab legs. Really need to change the name of this place

I finally got had my little crab feast at Mike's. It was delicious and the crabs were large with lots of meat and flavor!

Shrimp salad is awesome. Being on the water is always nice!!
