Had the old bay crabs. They were really good and would recommend to others. Menu had a lot of other items I would like to try on it and will go back again. Great views of the water. Parking can be a bit hectic at peak times

Great experience coming to Maryland and eating crabs. They do take a lot of effort, but they are very flavorful due to the amount of seasoning they put on them. If you don't prefer the hard work to eat crabs, there's definitely other options like sandwiches, which I would prefer after experiencing ripping crabs apart.

Great food served well in a comfortable atmosphere with a nice view of the Bay.

We agents like to slip away to unwind a little and enjoy some sunshine , great food and service at Mike's... our go to place on the water. Try the Firecracker ... nice cool down on a hot day.

The crabs were sooo good. All of them were meaty, and our outdoor seats were right under a fan. Perfect!

I've been to a lot of restaurants and had crabs this one blew it out of the water was great fantastic service plan to go back many times they are very consistent

$80 for large grabs with no meat inside and no corn on cob. Very dissappointing!

Slow and not responsive service this visit. But it picked up and all was well with the food and service in the end.

Good seafood.... The prices for crabs were high, but from the looks of the activity, crabs didn't have chance. We had a dozen middle/small crab mix and the crab cakes. The crab cakes runs a close 3rd place compared against places in the area (some filler and not seasoned to perfection as the menu stated). The deck area has a good view of a tributary that feeds the Chesapeake Bay. Drinks were right on time including the water. It was a HOT and HUMID evening. Service was one of the best and superb (Hobbs and helper, four thumbs up).

Food was awesome. I had the crabs and they were very good.

Love this place! I make the trip all the way from Frederick just to sit and watch the water and eat crabs at Mikes!

Awesome spot on the water for picking crabs and having a beer! They give lessons for newbies, and the service is very friendly. Not fancy since you are picking crabs, but so yummy and great fun atmosphere!

Food is excellent, but get there early...they will run out of crabs. Food is reasonably priced for a seafood restaurant. Great atmosphere and our waitress was very attentive.

Food was just okay way under season 4 Seafood I thought the crabs were over price for small and the service was lacking large party spent over $1,200

Great food with great views of the river. The dining room is open year round but the outside river deck is great during the warm months. Crab cake sandwhich is big compared to other chain restaurants.

Great place and a nice view. I had the crabs and they were full and meaty. My wife had the broiled seafood combination which was pleasing to look at and tasted great. Do your self a favor and get there early. It fills up quick.

I love eating at Mike's. The dress code is casual, the food is great, and the atmosphere nice. If you like to take in fresh air and the sun, eat outside if there is availability.

Food is good across the board. Loved the crab cakes and oysters. It located on a scenic river. We will be visiting here more often.

Get the cherry stone clams appetizer - really good. Crab was great although I've never eaten Maryland crab before. Got a tutorial and a free beer from another patron. So awesome! Highly recommend this place.

Always a great time.. crabs were delicious & service was wonderful.

Wait staff is horrible and does not know how to give appropriate wait times. We were told an hour wait, but we've been waiting an hour and 20 min, and STILL have to wait another 40 min. The waiting area is full and they continue to tell people the wait is an hour. This is what happens when you let children work. Shows poor management as well, since not one single adult has even came to check on the wait while we have been sitting here. Drove over an hour and a half to come here. Never coming back again. I also watched these kids seat 2 people at a 6 person table, when larger groups are waiting. Maybe these hostess should go to school vs wasting a lot of people's time.

Our favorite place for crabs. Crowded & hard to park at on a busy night. Delicious crabs. Worth the wait plus the harbor view is priceless.

Came 17 hours down to visit some family and decided to come eat and food was okay but staff was AWFUL and when I say AWFUL I mean our server was busy talking and eating to wait on us and the rest of the staff just sat around and talked and laughed I give all my props to the buser from the time we walked in the door he worked his tail off and never stopped

First time here. They came highly recommended. The food excellent! The service excellent, thanks Nolan! I didn't like that all the food came out at once. We also had some water occasionally dripping onto the table. Be prepared for a little bit of a wait. Don't be surprised if I am waiting with you.

If your anywhere in this area you have to try Mikes. This place is where you will get the best of the Maryland Crab options.... No BS crabcakes with huge chunks of crab meat hanging out of everywhere. Amazing crab balls and coconut shrimp... Haddock is amazing . Table with paper and a plate of blue claw crabs on top is how it has to be done. Mikes has been here forever and each time I come back it hasn't changed and stays delicious. Mikes is too notch for good Maryland style crabs. Its a must stop. I will always come back.

Excellent food. Delicious cream of crab soup and Chesapeake Chicken sandwich.

This crab house is O.K. I never understand why when I go out the crabs come out empty and tasting like they re old. When I make live crabs at home they always come out fat and meaty. I got a half a dozen of the large crabs. 1st they wasn t that big and second the last 3 was not edible because they had no meat in them. Overall you re paying for the views here.

We had amazing crab dip and it was our first time eating crabs and 3 different employees took time to help us while we were learning how to eat them! Thank you for the amazing experience!

*Note: biased review by a VEGETARIAN.* Can't beat the setting, but if you are a vegetarian, this place might be too gory for you. Full salad bar which is fresh but just ok...maybe b/c plates are too small and you have to make too many trips to fill yourself up on salad alone. They also have pizza which is pretty good, if you eat dairy. Crazy crowded in summertime.

Must be under new management. Large group and annual event. Have always treated us right but not this year. Appetizers came out 10 minutes apart. Food didn t come out at same time. Manager refuses to split as requested. They should remember who the customer is and take better care of them.

The food is great, first time here, wont be the last. I had tue amazing crab dip and shrimp skewers. That crab dip was crazy delicious! Service at bar is great, i dealt with Lily and she was very nice and attentive. So besides all that, there is KARAOKE!!! And uses a very high tech system for all singers. Again first time here, its a Friday, not sure if there is karaoke other night but i sure as hell lucked out tonight!!

Love the relaxed atmosphere of this place! Very relaxed and down to earth place to get steamed crab. I've had a great time each time I have went. Hope to make it a resturant I visit regularly!

The salad bar lettuce was fresh & crunchy. The crabs were tasty. There were a few light ones, but overall pretty good. Call before you come. They ran out of crabs late afternoon-I had a Nutty Buddy for dessert. The hard chocolate shell and ice cream, delish. I wish the cone would've been crunchy. Perhaps, a CRUNCHY waffle cone can be served on the side.

It was ok ..... the broil platter missed the mark .. shrimp too dry and scallops were rubbery. The crabcake was great. The waitress was hard to find at times..... I ended up going and getting my own drinks from the bar. The visit was not a total lost ..because I would visit again. You can never go wrong enjoying seafood on the water.

Meh dirty outside. Small beers . asked for glass of house white wine got the most expensive on menu. Tourist trap

Their crabs are the best! Staff are attentive to the needs of their customers. Never had a bad experience in this place.

5 count them, 5 stars..simply awesome..clams, oysters, chicken, roast beef, salad bar, even good cold beer, they're the best sitting on the couch now rubbing my stomach simply awesome
