Great food, staff and environment. Awesome for family dinners or just grabbing a snack with some friends.

Gave them another try, service terrible food was sub par , I won't go back.

I hope the renovations means better food and service when it reopens.

This review is strictly for the new "Venue at Miguelitos". Although it looks small (depending on who you are) it can easily fit up to 80 people. My Uncle threw his 50th birthday party here and there were easily 10 chairs to a round table. There were 8 round tables, a small welcome/gift table, a medium sized dj with tall speakers, and a bar in the back with kegerators. There is a large "suite" in the back which is used to store some of the food served at the venue. Bathroom, and a refrigerator for venue use. There was space for a small dance floor as well. Great place for an upgraded party!

Excellent fajitas/queso/chips/salsa. Will be back for sure when I'm in the area.

I hate to say this because the food is really great. Our last visit was our final visit. Sitting near the wall where the large painting sits....my daughter says "there is a bug on that painting." I looked over and it was a roach. I did not complain and I did not finish my meal. The same thing happened 4 years prior and I stopped going. We gave the place another chance and went weekly for a year. That was it for me. Never again.

Waited and waited to be seated. Finally had to go find someone to ask if we seat ourselves. (Should of left then but my husband had his hangry face) Fajitas taste like it came out of bag and warmed up. Tortillas are store bought. The beans and rice were good.

Real Mexican food served in a very homey place by friendly waiters.

It took over an hour to get our drinks. Then we had to go searching for a server to take our orders. When the food arrived it was cold and their chicken was not good at all in the quesadillas. Not sure where the good reviews came from. Very disappointed.

Ok i maybe jumping the gun but my partner drags me for mexican food all the time...this is the first time she has sold me..omg this food is absolutely incredible so far the wait staff is amazing and kind and pays great attention to detail... I will say i will ONLY come here this is absolutely awesome for me. You HAVE to try the flameado appetizer..talk about mouthgasm and the queso ...now to try the chicken fiesta!

I got food to go. Chicken nachos are so so. Tamales are horrible. Chimi was bad. I ordered queso and they gave me chicken tortillas with mystery carne sauce. This place is bad. The music was good!

The food was great!!! The place was clean!!! But the waiter was rude to us when I was asking him a question....So I was like never mind....We still left him a good tip!!!! Even though how he acted .....But I will go back!!!! Just don't the same waiter again!!!!

When Michael was alive, he kept that business going in the right direction. It just is not the same since he left. Last straw was the last time I ate there. They will only give you 2 tortillas for the lunch fajitas, want more? Then pay for them. They charge 3 bucks for their drinks now. Service is terrible. The last three times I was there more than one of our drinks ran out and wasn't refilled for at least 10 to 20 minutes. They just never came back to check on us. Took our drink order brought it to us, then took the food order and brought it to us. Nothing in between at all. Twice I had to hunt down the waiter for the check. It was sad to see Michael go especially when he always took care of the place and very great care of the customers. Adios Miguelito's.

This is one of my favorite places to eat! The food is good enough to make you drool and the waiters are ridiculously nice. They always remember my family and I and my drink never goes empty. I recommend this place to all my friends and they love it too!

This was a top pick on Groupon!! Very nice place, awesome ambiance, great waitstaff and EXCELLENT FOOD!! I got a special on Groupon ($20 voucher for $7.50) and decided on the Monterrey Jack and fajitas! It was sooo good!! I ate about half of it and brought the rest back to my boss who owns his own business which is very good as well, GIOVANNIS PIZZA in North Richland Hills. I recommend trying both!!!

CAUTION! EXAMINE YOUR BILL CLOSELY!!
I took my family of 5 to Miguelito's and a gratuity of 18% was applied to my bill even though their menu stated it would only be for parties of 6 or more. Then on top of that the server did not give me an itemized bill where I would have seen the charge. I did not find out about it until I disputed the charges with a different employee, and even then they refused to take the 18% gratuity off the bill. The service was terrible and although the "Jack Fajitas" tasted good, the tortilla's they served with them were cheap store bought.

We first went to Miguelito's shortly after they opened and were big fans for years until work took us to Austin. While in town we were excited we would be able to have lunch at our old haunt. But alas I guess it is true that you can't go back home. Although the restaurant looks much the same the food and service that made it great are no more.

Not only can I not recommend you go to Miguelito's, but based upon my experience today I must encourage you to go elsewhere. If you are close to Miguelito's and hungry for Mexican there is a Taco Bueno just down the road with better tortillia's and food comparable to what you will get at Miguelito's, but with better service.

Now this is the Miguelitos I remember that kept bringing us back since many years ago

Bad service, food was excellent but didn't receive our drinks till we were done eating. Waiter never came back with our check. Had to wait at the front cashier to get anyones attention to pay and leave. :(

Cozy fun place to eat. Parking kinda sticks but not horrible. Been going there for over 10 years.

Nothing went wrong, but the dishes are pricey, taste nothing special. And it's the first time in my life that I spent $15 for an order of fajitas yet left still a bit hungry without a take out box.

The restaurant was beautiful to the eye, the service was pretty decent, and the food was very tasty and delicious. Love the music there too! Only reason it's getting four stars is because of portion size. Nothing big. Would highly recommend!

I've had better Mexican food at my mother-in-laws nursing home. Throw a dart at all the Mexican restaurants nearby and your chances of hitting a better Mexican restaurant are about 98%.

Service is TERRIBLE! You have to be a regular to get service. I have experienced this on numerous occasions both in the restaurant and bar. Food is OK, but not for the price.
Don't waste your time. It's a disappointment.

My favorite go to Mexican, mom and pop place in DFW! So good

They have burritos advertised as chimichangas. They undercooked my vegetables and when I ask them to cook them a little bit more they burnt them. They sold me a burrito and told me it was a chimichanga and I have had chimichangas there before so I know what they look like. It was not a good experience. Not happy!
