Cozy cafe in downtown South Pasadena. Staff were lovely and sweet. Coffee was good. They heat up the cookie which is a nice touch. There's wifi!

It's been here a long time which is a testament to how good it must be. It's changed over the years from what I remember but the current shop offers great classic sandwiches and new creations. I'm a fan and glad to have a place like this nearby.

I haven't had a bad sandwich here- fresh ingredients, and really friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place. Laid back vibes, and tasty sandwiches. If you're in the area, give it a whirl. Vegan options, of you're interested in that!

Nom nom! The sandwiches are bomb here. Granted I only tried the seedy pastrami on rye but it was super flavorful. Usually pastrami sandwiches are really salty but this one in combination with the melted cheese and slightly tangy coleslaw was perfection. The place it's not trendy but nice for a quick bite for lunch

I bought a sandwich that was enjoyed by three people. It was a turkey with machego cheese. Mmmm Mmmm good.

Super sweet workers! I really enjoyed the food! Great lunch combo that includes a sandwich + drink and chips. Good amount of seating and great service!! Super helpful in answering the many questions I had about their sandwiches! I would definitely come back!!!

What a wonderful place for lunch! I love how you can customize the sandwiches and everyone behind the counter is incredibly friendly and nice. This place recently changed management, and it really shows! Can't wait to come back.

Nice atmosphere, very modern place on historic Mission street for sandwiches and salads. They have sophisticated options such as a fig and brie sandwich, which is very good. Service is a bit slow, but the food is worth it. Prices are a bit higher than average. Their corn salad is very tasty.

I am so sad with this kind of service. But the sandwiches are so worth the wait! Shared space with the poke place next door. Will definitely be back.

I have been coming to the sandwich shop since it first opened! That was well over 30 years ago! They have the best sandwiches hands down I recommend this place to everybody! It is one of the must go to places in South Pasadena that has been around for a long time and I don't see it going anywhere soon except for uphill even more it is an incredible place and the atmosphere is wonderful! You will have to wait because it is packed for a reason LOL! It used to be the secret spot well now it's not so secret and it is full of customers at all times I absolutely love this place

Delicious sandwiches! It's a small sandwich shop but tastes great! However after you eat you'll end up smelling like sandwiches.

They serve amazing sandwiches, have the most bitchin' music, and sometimes they play "The IT Crowd." Best sandwiches in town. Fight me! Although that other place off Fremont is p great but still I'll fight you.

One of the best sandwiches i ever had! Fig and brie i believe it was.
