Dr. Trotter is hands down the best urologist in Austin. His staff is friendly and helpful, he s always in a good mood, he genuinely cares about your health, and he is incredibly knowledgeable. I highly recommend going to him.

Dr. Trotter and his staff are very good at putting their patients at ease with the exams, the tests and the procedures, if it comes to that. Friendly and professional. They also work well with my other physicians and are great at explaining everything in terms I can grasp.
Going in for a prostate biopsy is hardly the essence of a 5-star office visit, with the potential implications difficult to overlook. Nevertheless, Dr. Trotter and staff were highly professional, caring, and knowledgeable. Dr. Trotter walked me through the procedure in detail as it actually transpired, alerting me to impending sounds and sensations so there were no surprises and the procedure, while not fun, was manageable with a minimum of discomfort. Done under local anesthesia, the procedure went quickly and I walked out under my own power, hungry and ready for lunch at Taco Deli just up the street. 5 stars for the visit given the circumstances. The taco was great.
What I really like about Midtown Urology is what I am learning. Diagnosis and treatment of my BPH has been excellent, of course. But beyond that I've been able to ask questions and get useful answers. By moderating certain behaviors, for instance, like reducing consumption of coffee, red meat, spices and sugar, BPH issues have been significantly reduced. Net result is my health is better all round thanks to Midtown Urology.
I like Dr Trotter the staff and the content is kind and helpful; Unfortunately, I am out of network and would like my money back. I do not know why you do not like veterans we sacrifice to much to be excluded from midtown .
Such is life . Keep the money you must need it more than I do!

I've been a patient of Dr. Trotter for about 7 years. He is excellent and patient with us older patients. He stayed on top of my condition, discovered early prostate cancer before it spread, recommended an intense radiation and my result is I am in remission with very minor aftereffects from the treatment. I recommend him and his office and staff without hesitation.
Dr. Trotter continually strives to find the best ways to help improve lifelong medical conditions. He is also caring and kind and always responds in an emergency situation. I feel fortunate to have somehow lucked upon him during an emergency room visit many years ago.
